o.o That's odd, when mine runs scans and finds a problem it gets rid of it and all I have to do is restart my computer and it's officially gone.

Thank you thank you. = w= Yes, hugs all around.
That's usually the case with the scanning and all, and I restarted, but I think somehow the security kind of.. shut off? And then the viruses were all like I'MMA SCREW YOUR COMPUTER OVER.

Welcome back Bachi, glad to hear everything's better now. I figured I'd say a few things on the McAfee problem. >.>
I've encountered that particular problem NUMEROUS times in the past with McAfee. Oftentimes, it just allows viruses and the like to get past. You can go to certain sites and it's almost like they shut down McAfee's security or something. x.x I would go to sites I visited regularly, simple things to check some information, even going to check my e-mail, and something would happen. And sadly, I oftentimes had to do system restores because McAfee would let a nasty freaking virus onto my computer. I would tell it to get rid of it or at least quarantine it, and the crappy thing would constantly tell me it couldn't.
Then, I got my new computer (a laptop really) and instead of getting McAfee, I got Norton. And personally, I like Norton a LOOOOT better. Combine Norton with SuperAntiSpyware and my computer's in great shape. Yeah, it's an old piece of crap that gives me crap every now and then, but in terms of computer health, no viruses, nothing harmful...it's in great shape. So yeah, I very much prefer Norton over McAfee. McAfee was a monstrous piece of crap. x.x

Funny, now I feel the need to say something about Norton.
When my family first got this lovely computer, we had Norton. Norton blocked EVERYTHING. You try to open an internet window, and it blocked the actual internet, saying it was a threat to the computer. No, really? Isn't that why we have Norton?
Then, my friend got Norton, and it let every virus under the sun get by. =| Norton confuses me. ;~;

Funny for me, too. xD
My family also used to use Norton years ago, but I don't exactly know what happened. Then boom! We had McAfee.

That's really strange. o.O I've never had those problems with Norton. Either it's been improved upon and fixed since those problems...or everyone experiences it differently. @.@ Everyone in this household has Norton and it works perfectly. And I know of others who have Norton who've never had any problems with it. That confuses me. xDD

I know way older versions of Norton would basically glitch, and screw over computers, though I don't remember how it did that.

lol. That's pretty freaky. Sounds like Norton used to be pretty temperamental. >.> To be honest, I was wary of it at first since I'd heard nothing but bad things about Norton, but it's honestly worked like a charm for me. It's done a great job of protecting my computer and I really can't complain about it at all.
