But there was something that was bothering her.]"Birdsong, all the kit's I've met have -kit at the end of their name and..." [she hesitated, flicking her tail with embarassment and making the little white arrow on her tail's base shift.] "...and, well, if I'm going to be a part of BreezeClan, I want to fit in..."

[Birdsong laid her rabbit down on the grass, and swiped her pink tongue around her muzzle]
"Well, having kit at the end is a Clan tradition. If Galestar allows you to join BreezeClan, since you're not 6 moons yet, you'll get kit put onto your name. Skyekit. But, since you're not Clan born, you could always change your name. Galestar will probably ask you if you want to keep your name, or if you want to change it. It's your decision" Birdsong explained.

↣ Ϩҟɣҽ ↤ [Skye narrowed her eyes thoughtfully, pausing for a moment.] "I want to leave every part of my old self behind." [Skye said, with the wisdom of an older cat.]"So I want a totally new name. I want to leave Skye behind." [she nodded firmly] ".I want a Clan name. How are kits named in the Clan?"

[Birdsong's green eyes gazed down at Skye thoughtfully]
"A new name, huh? That's a good choice"
[Birdsong stiffened a little when Skye asked the last question, memories coming at her from all sides, threatening to overwhelm the she-cat]
"Well, usually their mothers name them. I named my daughter Maplekit because my mate and I loved maple trees. She's all grown up now, Mapleleaf is. And my mate is hunting with StarClan.."
[Birdsong's eyes clouded over with sadness, but she shook her head, trying to ward off thoughts of Blazeheart]
"Anyway. Since your mother is not here, you can choose your name. Or Galestar could. Or you could get someone to do it for you, like suggestions"

"What do I think? Well, what about... Lightkit? Or Leafkit? Or Dawnkit? Or Fernkit? Firekit? I've got lots of names. What do you think?" she asked.

[Pebbleheart's eyes widened with shock to see her mate so angry so suddenly. She just starred down at him for a minute but changed her focus on Wavepelt, Dicepaw and Sweetmoon. Pebbleheart changed her expression to a comforting look, giving her mate another reassuring lick.] "It's okay love. That would can be healed soon, i'm sure of it." Pebbleheart comforted, giving him another lick.] _________________________________________________________

[Blossomkit has just woken up from her nap, she blinked and looked around the nursery. She noticed Rosewind and Owltalon in the nursery. She got up from her nest and shook the dust out of her fur. She was too lazy to groom herself. When she padded out of the nursery, spotting Falconstrike's body. She also noticed the pretty she-cat named Larkcry near the body. Blossomkit wasn't too worried about the body anymore, already experiencing such negative things. She then noticed that Fire was not with her, confusion took over Blossomkit.] "Fire?!" she called. [There was no response.] "Fire! Fire!!" she called again. [Blossomkit grumbled and layed on her back, pawing at a butterfly that was on her nose. She sneezed loudly and squirmed around, trying to get to her paws.]

[Birdsong flicked her ears]
"Arrowkit? Arrowkit. I like it. That's a good name!"
[She stood up and shook out her coat]
"Alright. We better get back to camp"
[Birdsong picked up her rabbit, and began padding back to camp. Once she slipped through the entrance to the camp, she stopped in her tracks. Falconstrike was dead.
No.
No.
C'mon, you barely knew him.
He was still a Clanmate!
One I was not close to. This is why I cut myself off from most cats.
Rest in peace, Falconstrike.
Birdsong growled softly and retreated to her corner, her eyes narrowed slightly, keeping one of her green eyes on Skye]

" [She said, realizing that he was dead.]"Was he your friend, Birdsong? Wait, of course he was. He was one of your Clanmates."[she mewed sadly, nudging Birdsong comfortingly.] "What happened to him?"

"He was my Clanmate. A Clanmate, that's all" she meowed, as if trying to convince herself, "I'm not sure what happened... I don't know.."

Above the cloud with its shadow is the star with its light.
_______________________________________________________ [Shadow was fast asleep, sinking in a peaceful dream. Suddenly a high pitch squeal caught himself to come out of the dream.] "Shadow! I'm bored, play with me!" [Shadow opened one eye to see Blossomkit, smiling so brightly and biting his tail. The bite didn't bother him, he just swished his tail out of the way and growled in annoyance.] "I'm trying to sleep..." he growled. [Blossomkit shot a annoying look but didn't give up. She jumped onto Shadow's back and growled playfully. Shadow's blue eyes were completely opened, full of exhaustion. His eyes focused on Falconstrike's body at times. He admitted the fact that he wasn't the nicest warrior but he was a loyal one. He then shook Blossomkit off his back, starring at the kit, not knowing how to handle them. He gave his sister a look of annoyance, hating to be waken up from a sleep.] "Go play with another kit.." he ordered. [Blossomkit shook her head and jumped onto Shadow's back again, while Shadow let out a growl.]

"I like arrowkit...it suits you. Precise and incredible."
[Spadepaw purposefully left out the part about how dangerous an arrow was. and her ears pinned back when Skye asked about Birdsong's mate.]
"He hunts with Doveflight and Stripedkit now."
[She mewed with a respectful dip of the head.]
"If it makes you feel any better, Birdsong...i believe that even in starclan, he still loves you more than anything."
[She smiled, her blue eyes glowing with a hidden longing for her mother.]
Birdsong's been so sad after Falconstrike's death...i hope her mind heals over.
"Oh, that reminds me! Skye, when we get back, i want you to meet a friend of mine, her name is Cometstream. She's ONE of the greatest she-cats you might ever meet. She likes kits, so you're in luck."
[She mewed, trying to lighten the dreary mood that hovered in the air.]
