Hanabi was shocked as well. Half-brother? I can't believe it... But that does explain why they look similar. she thought to herself. She looked down at Kevin and then felt her thirst for blood grow again. She covered her mouth with her hand and backed away.

Hanabi covered her face with both her hands. Maybe if she didn't see Kevin, she won't try to bite. But the desire for blood wouldn't leave her. So thirsty... I want... need blood...

Hanabi lowered her hands and looked at Travis. "You sure?" she asked, doing her best to keep her eyes from looking down at Kevin.

"Alright," Hanabi said. She really didn't want to leave Travis alone with Vlad, but if she stays, she might drink Kevin's blood. She turned around and ran back to the entrance. She ran up the stairs and closed the door behind her once she was back inside the house.

Vlad grinned, "Why not just accept my offer, son?"
"Because I don't drink humans." Travis said.
"Are you sure that's the reason?" Vlad said.

Hanabi walked away from the cellar door. She was getting so thirsty. If she stayed there, she might go back in and lose control of herself. She walked to the kitchen and looked inside the freezer, hoping to find some bloody, raw meat. It was empty. Damn it.... Why... she though to herself.

"Well?" Vlad said.
Travis was silent for a moment, then sighed, "Because of Hanabi... I didn't want to upset her..."
"And she would have been upset about drinking humans back when she was human... but now..." Vlad said.
Travis shook his head, "No, I refuse to-"
Suddenly, dark energy could be felt from the door to the cellar, then the energy vanished.

Hanabi felt the dark energy faintly. What was that? She walked out into the hallway and could feel it coming from the door to the cellar. Then it vanished. She ran to the door and opened it. "Travis?" she called out.

Hanabi went in and saw Travis. "Travis!" She ran over to him and dropped down to her knees next to him. She shook him a bit. "Wake up. Wake up!"
