Sala sighed at her warning tone. People around here so easily forget the chain of command, he thought. He grabbed his trenchcoat from a hook on the wall, and a sizable bag of gold coins from a drawer in his desk, and headed for the door. As a last thought, he poked his head in Kimi's office, grabbed an extra poster and then walked out the door. He headed for the best smithy in the city.

Seeing as how Sala left his office, Kimi snuck in and sat at his desk. Now let's see what people he was looking over. She flipped through the papers and found Melanie in one stack. Is this a coincidence? Not really, I mean she has done a ton of other jobs, it's not that weird to be known by the government. So I wonder if this is a "maybe" stack...

((How did I not see that post before? o_0 Thanks for giving me something to work with though later))

Sala arrived at the smithy, and swept inside, away from the cool drizzle pouring on the city. He noted it has slightly ironic.

He approached the smithy on the front desk, and motioned for the back room. He let him in without a word and followed shortly himself. "I need you to make me this," He said, holding up the poster.

The Smithy paused in thought for a moment. "How much?"

Sala pulled out the punch of gold peices and took out a sizeable handful, dropping into the smithy's hands. "I trust this is enough? I need it done in a week or less, in time to get it to the exhibit. And tell no one." He added the last part with an ominious hint of malice. The Smithy nodded his understanding feverishly.

Sala swept back out of the smithy, and headed next to the museum. He noticed the drizzle had picked up into a gentle, but miserable, rain, and pulled his collar tighter around himself. He liked rain, but not this. This was just plain miserable. It always has to be cold when it rains around here... He thought of his old home in the southern plains and forests, wondering to himself why he came here. Oh yeah... He thought as he recalled why; He was obsessed with power.

((You're welcome?))

Feeling bored after looking through the papers, Kimi headed for home. She stepped outside the building and felt the drizzle. It might snow again. She picked up her pace and arrived at her house. She went into her training room and activated the training dummies. She wtched the dummies spring to life and started to attack.

Just Sala arrived at the back entrance to the museum, the drizzle began turn to snow. He opened the door and headed down the long hallway to speak with the museum manager. "You've no doubt seen the signs up for a necklace that will be on display next week in the museum. That necklace is 100% fake, being made a blacksmith as we speak. One the day of opening, and from there on, there will be guards at the museum 24/7. All you need to do is keep out of the way, and be assured that any damage as result of the break-in will be paid for in full by the city."

The Manager was confused, but understand what he was supposed to do, so he simply nodded, and went back to work.

Sala left the museum and headed for city hall again. Snow was beginning to pile up slightly on the sidewalks, and he could here the strange crunching sound with each step of his boot. This is going to get very nasty, very soon. He hurried into the front door of city hall, and walked quickly up the stairs to his office. He paused to think about what to take home for the night. He noticed the papers were just ever so slightly out of place. He smiled, as he thought of clever kimi carefully arranging them as they were, after peeking at them. That so like her. He grabbed the stack, grabbed his keys, and headed back downstairs and out the door.

Kimi swiftly manuvered around the dummies and delivered weak blows. She didn't want to damage them, she would have to fix them later. She started lifting weights while avoiding the attacks of the robots. The robots were quick enough to keep the training interesting. She finally decided to do some more extreme training....

((If someone else wants to post, I won't bite, I promise. 4laugh ))

Sala arrived at his mansion, the snow gentle, but thick with large flakes. It was a large estate butting up against the city walls, with a forest-like grove of trees at the back, and some wide-open glass. He had chosen the location because he reminded him of his old home in the south. He unlocked the fence, and walked up the long drive to the ornate wood door. It opened up smoothly, and he stepped into the open foyer, off to the side of the living room. He went to his office, tossed the papers on his desk, and went to his armory."

((I just ran out of ideas......))

Kimi was about to teleport to another location when she thought of an idea. It would be boring just training by myself, but I would be able to work on my spells..... Doesn't matter, I'll just see if he wants to train with me and we'll see from there. She left her house and headed for Sala's place. She arrived at the gate and pushed the doorbell.

Sala was in the middle of grabbing his swords when the bell rang. Who could that be? he wondered. Swords in hand he went to door and opened it, to see Kimi standing there. "I wasn't expecting you. Well, come in, I can't leave you out in the cold." He stepped aside, gesturing for her to enter. "So what brings you here?" He asked.

She took a look at Sala, wielding swords, and stepped inside. "I was just wondering....if you have the time.....would like to train with me? I feel that it's not as effective training alone."

Sala smiled welcomingly. "Of course. What did you have in mind?"

"One on one combat." Kimi said smiling. "It would probably be best outside. I wouldn't want this to damage any part of your mansion." This very extravagant and expensive home...

He smiled wider. "Sounds like fun. Of course, I'll need to warm up first." He gestured to follow him and walked off toward his small, but well-stocked armory. There were several sets of swords, armor, and even a few guns and other odd things.

Kimi entered the room and thought, Impressive....I wonder what he's like in battle. She started doing some small stretches while taking notice of anything he will or might take for their training.

((Would they be training with live blades or some sort of training word, whatever they call em?))
