Lollipop Fiend Nah, I still have some doubt but I do feel mostly good about it. I think besides Austin's fight I might have the shortest fight, or at least in the running with the dark elf fight. Just saw this. I skimmed some of your fight. Nothing against Evil, but I couldn't find it in me to read all of his posts. The whip action was neat. I'll be excited to fight you if I win.

Vintrict I think people bashing BWI are also hypocrits. You fight them because you want some action, but at the same time, you detest them. It's counter-productive. Just make a combat-orientated faction in commerce already and go from there. Start a "clan." Untrue. To claim it's hypocritical isn't the proper term; I can summarize it better from personal experience.
They're disagreeable people in a large faction. Ergo, people wish to fight them amidst a large "fortress" (which is what the inn and surrounding area essentially is), because they desire both to crush a detestable opponent, and because defeating a faction or losing to a faction is fun.
However, said faction seems to enjoy using their eyeballs and pubic hair to conjure miniature nuclear bombs onto their opponents while manipulating the space time continuum whenever things go wrong for them.
"Hypocritical" you're thinking? No. Their OOC faggotry and IC.. well, faggotry, further raises their status as antagonists. It's fun to roleplay with and against people you enjoy roleplaying with, something we get too rarely, but if that's all you get, that gets boring! Sometimes you want something you and/or your characters disagree with strongly, are dumbfounded by, are stunned by the sheer stupidity of, and that accelerates your drive to destroy them more, further manifesting the desire to destroy said faction, reinforcing my initial point.
Also, they're ninjers. I may be a ninja man, but not these faggert ninjers. No sir.

Kenji III Vintrict Raids: the act of exerting your superiority over less experienced roleplayers in the art of combat. That's only half true. What if I was to raid Rock Fist or the GPD or Lu Bu when they were more active? I've raided/attacked all three in the past. Lu Bu was understandable because back then, it was like in the old days of China when martial artists when around attacking other dojos or people. Great times. Rock Fist is not really a raid-friendly area only because there is usually hardly anyone there and the anti magic field makes it so that unless you go in their with high technology or a hulk physical body, you can think twice about fight anyone. Samayou's character just makes up for the flaws of no magic. As for the GPD, it's suppose to be highly defensive in the first place. I need to update the front page anyway with the stuff Tacitus gave me from the old GPD and grow its notoriety. I just never found the time to do anything. Maybe this summer will be a good time to start it back up.

Sanadin Elenilarion Haha, good. I'm sick of these inexperienced ninja; they make me wanna quit Gaia and move to valucre, lol. You know, everyone in BWI isn't that bad. There's some like Argonon who I simply can't read his writing and he completely refused to take any advice I gave him about good writers write simply. Then there's others who can soak up information like a sponge and want to learn, they're just learning from the wrong guy. But yeah, I don't have any shame in saying that when I first started RPing freeform on Gaia it was with the BWI people. It was fun waging war against them from other villages and stuff, and I honestly do like the chance to play higher level characters. Just some of the things were really stupid and I didn't like getting into debates about theorized physics when none of us knew what the hell we were talking about.

I get your point, Hael, but it's not going to happen. There's no clause stating that they have to abide by us. I can understand if they were in the FFA. Then, they would have no choice. But they do. And that's the reason why there's no point. Even if their antagonists of the roleplaying world, you can't do anything to stop that.
I'm just saying, there are alternatives to do that.

Lol. I love a lady with a whip.
Vin, I do agree with you there. I had no fun really raiding Rock Fist, but Lu Bu was a blast. I raided that place probably 20 or so times destroying property and mostly disrupting the peaceful training and lives of its inhabitants as they stopped what they were doing to defend themselves from nerve gas, fires, onslaught of mercs and a bunch of other s**t. Now I'm just being nostalgic.
I'd be done for role playing in the GPD if you want to start it up again.

It's hard to play by the rules of others when they change in order to avoid taking a hit, or any real damage.
At least with LuBu they rolled with the punches, and played along.
BWI, if you end up beating them with their own logic, or beating any of their group then you end up banned.
With LuBu, you ended up with an open invitation to return and do it again whenever you felt like it.
It was a lot of fun.
