The shadowy form of the wolf paused at the rustle of something to one side moving quickly from cover and looked in the general direction. It's eyes easily pierced the gloom of the forest at night but whatever had moved was now out of his field of vision blocked as it was by the scattered trees and plants. The wolf slowly and cautiously made it's way towards the origin of the sound and sniffed almost daintily for a scent that would have made the sound. After a brief search that brought him back and forth over a small patch of ground he found an out of place scent and began to follow it head down and not bothering to look at anything around it.

Kina could smell the wolf once again now that she was down wind. She turned towards him as he neared, opening her jaws and snapping them down to create a pinkish fire that snapped towards him like sparks. It was an odd display of aggression that landed short and danced across the underbrush of the forest in front of his paws. She wanted him away from her. She didnt know this creature.

The wolf paused as the fire burst on the ground in front of him and with a series of sneezes he backed up slightly with a low growl that was not out right aggression. It was a warning but not a threat though his hackles rose at the fire and his lips peeled back from his fangs his body language was still barely neutral. He made no move to retreat as he tilted his massive head back and forth to study the being in front of him with first one golden eye and then the other. Only his sheer size gave away that he was not a normal wolf and even then he could have passed for a dire wolf were it not for his aura that was for the moment wrapped tightly around his form giving an after image effect to those that could percieve it. Wolf waited patiently to see what this new creature's next move would be and also used the time to study it as he would any animal.

Kina Hissed at him and stepped back; one of her back paws creating ripples in the water behind her. She looked behind her then back at the creature then growled lowly, spreading her wings and flapping them once in aggression towards the thing. She wasnt going to move but she wouldnt want to start a confrontation which she already had. She was scared of this thing and no longer wanted any part of it. She even thought of taking flight but she was too bull headed at the time.

Her ruby eyes glowed lightly, warning him before she snapped the fire at him once more; but closer.

Fenton: ._. mew? *The small fuzzy whomper heard commotion elsewhere in the forest, but was smart and just kept to where he was. Kaiori's armor and sword were still around him. He occassionally head butted them out of boredom... but couldn't bring himself to leave any of the shiney things behind* ._. pah.....
