"Wait, so you're saying... Fox broke up with you because his ex is visiting?" Flower raises an eyebrow, since that sounds kind of weird to her. She continues meticulously removing glass.

Then Arrow shakes his head. "He broke up with me for SilverMoon... because they still love each other." his voice breaks and the tears come in an angry wave. When the night scout calms down a little, he continues. "Silvermoon didn't only come because of the gryphons... and they talked about me in Kaleda'in, alot. Moon kept saying bad stuff about me, like I was too angry, that I didn't love Fox the way he did..." Arrow breaks down into sobs again, unable to finish.

Flower puts down the tweezers and moves up to sit on the bed next to him, and take him in her arms, "Are you sure that's what was being said? You aren't fluent in Kaleda'in... Why would he be calling you angry? You're usually a pretty mellow guy."
((mellow being at least not quick to anger? ********. ))

"I knew exactly what they were saying. I could feel it too..." Arrow admits. "That empathy I used to have? It didn't go away." Now he's getting angry again. Silvermoon... He wishes he'd never even met the man!

Flower quietly but quickly shields herself against empathy after he says that. She didn't need any weird feelings of hers leaking through and making this situation worse, and she doesn't need to have him projecting anger or something like that on her. "It just... doesn't sound like something the old man would do."

Arrow laughs, cruel and cold. "Well he did." he says. "He said he was confused." Arrow sighs. "I think he let himself become that way."

Arrow sighs. "My empathy is completely unpredicatable. It copped out." he says. "Why... Flower, why did he do this? I thought that things were going good... I loved being with Fox... I thought... I thought that this was it... that we'd get old together..."

"He didn't give me a reason at all! He just said he was confused and couldn't be with me till he figured things out!" Arrow yells. "He was fine all week though, and like, we slept at his house each night and he didn't stop me from like, kissing him and stuff..." Arrow growls. "He could have at least explained things a little better."

Flower had been really trying to think up things to calm him down from everyone of his points, but this one seemed troubling. Fox was really... weak when he was emotionally unstable, and he didn't to be a very lonely man, so he would cling to whoever would let him, "Well, like you said, things were going ok with him, right? So I think he might just come back to you rather quickly. This might all be happening too quickly for him, you know he hasn't so much as dated anybody in, like, ten years."

Flower slips off the bed to finish wrapping up Arrow's lovely new wounds, since as much as she felt he needed the comfort of a friend, she couldn't just let those things bleed as much as they wanted anymore, "I'm not going to lie to you, that is a possible outcome. A possible outcome, not the only one, but it's the one that's going to happen if you just give up. Fox needs to know you still care for him after he pulled this stunt if he's ever going to think you might take him back."
