Thanks. mmhmm I don't really want a famous person't drum sticks anyway I'm beginner and I really like this pearl set but I'll get it when I'm older. Its even my screensaver! Are there all different colour drumsticks?

Yeah drumsticks come in different colors but it's usually the signature ones.. here are some pictures (though they're signature, they can give you a good idea):

Those are the Travis Barker ones from Ziljian.

Buddy Rich^^ sticks

the Ahead brand drumsticks that I own that I told you about up there are not signature, they're Rock Drumsticks meaning they're good for playing rock but you can play them with other things. But the color is Black, it came that way Ahead does make some blue ones I think, and so on. Vic Firth does make color ones but it's mostly signature ones.. though signature ones aren't that bad but they're alot more expensive. Some drumsticks can change color if they've been played for a while like a year or so.

Otherwise you could decorate your stick with drumstick tape (helps you grip better) or just spray paint your sticks that's what a lot of people do xd

You broke your cymbal................... eek well not broke but it fell?? wow. That must suck, Ace, and what were you doing? next time if tighten the stand..

Ace pretty much covered it all; get a pair of sticks that work out for you, heck I dont have any signature sticks because there really is no difference and it's just a waste of money. I'm doing fine with my with my drumsticks, I own at least 3 pairs of Vic Firth 5A sticks.. they've been working good for me. But my best pair of sticks are not made out of wood, they're made out of Aluminum and their from Ahead a company that makes good sticks as well, the sticks were about $30.00 and no I wouldnt recomend you buying them since your just starting out.

The whole thing with cymbals is that I own five different Splash Cymbals, two for my drumset and the other three for my other one. And then I own three Ride Cymbals as well.. theyre good. But the most expensive kind of cymbal are the China Cymbals, they're also known as China Boy cymbals. They're very expensive and I only have one, I got a good deal on it though.. I got one for $130.00 then some of them are only $80.00 but most of them are in their 100's. My advice is that you shouldn't go out and buy a new set, get a used one, used ones work great they may not be the best as new ones but they work out fine. And after you learn more and more about drumming, maybe your 3rd year or 4th? you could go and buy a more expensive one such as the $500.00 ones. Then when you get your used one, you could get a new snare or something.. build up.

Don't buy a full 5-peice drumset though it's only $500.00. I've never done that at all, what I've done is that buy a snare, then a few months later I sell one of my used cymbals and get new ones.. get what I mean? but good luck

You could also try CB drumsets, they're only $200.00 though they're good for like 4 year old, my son has been pretty obessed with his.. and he almost broke my snare which would of sucked.

okay so not a 5 piece set and mot expensive drumsticks that don't have any use yay i think i know mostl everything now!

Noo.. that's not what I meant.. what I meant is that don't just buy a 5-peice drumset when your a beginner... I should of been more clear. What I meant is that a lot of beginners go and buy a 5-peice drumset when they could get a used one, it doesn't matter how many peices they're all it's just that the 5-peice is good for beginners. Otherwise just save up your money for the 5-peice, just get it once your a good drummer and since your beginning get a used drumset that's one option to get a used drumset or to buy things such as buy a snare one month and then the next or a few months later buy another one.. they can be used or new, it doesn't matter.

Yeah what Dean said.

I just spray painted my sticks a flame kinda color, looks pretty cool but after a while with playing it the spray paint starts to wear off.

Holy daaamn.. those are sexy!!!

Dean is the first one a 18-inch or 20-inch cymbal.. it looks like a 20 to me. And is it a Zildjian A-Series China Boy??? because I've been eyeing those for awhile now.. does it play good?

Oh and Dean if you could pimp up your drumset.. what would the whole drumset be (i.e. addons, finish ect wink and this question is for everybody else too who wants to answer it.

One tip for Dagger_Star

Okay.. it's a reality that playing drums late at night isn't the best time, or is it playing early in the morning either. So what many drummers do is buy a pratice pad, yes a pratice pad. It works the same way as a snare but it works when you need something to pratice on or if you don't want to wake anyone up, I have three and they work fine. You should get one, it's recommended that you should. The kinds of pads that I would look into if I were you would have to be Remo, Yamaha, or Vic Firth.

Yamaha is fricken' expensive.

I say just go with Vic Firth or Remo.. or just get any other kind of brand for a pad. A pad isn't really that important, it just helps you out.

ATTENTION ALL MODERATORS!

I am not saying that all of you moderatos are slacking off or anything. I'm just saying that I hope all the moderators here at my guild are helping the guild out by if you see any rule-breaking you fix it, or if anything happens. I've been very busy and I don't post as much as I used to but I try. So I hope the moderators are also accepting members into the guild because it's very important if you do so. I gave back the privilage because I wanted to see how things would be and I always seem to be the one accepting members and no I'm not mad at you. I just hope that all of you are doing your best for this guild and please just check the "VIEW REQUESTING" list which is located at the MODERATOR panel frequently. And if you see any members wanting to join.. AS LONG AS they: Have a fair reason to join, are not just joining for goal..like of the old members... stare , and aren't acting stupid at all (i.e saying crap about the guild or just acting like an idiot)

THANK-YOU! and once again I'm not mad.

Ace is right I'm having less time too as I'm sure you all have noticed since I rarely post now. Just a note that if you are unsure whether you should do something or not about a post/thread pm myself or Ace being very specific (thread name, what page of the thread it's on and what post number it is [example: ghost stories page 2 post 3]) of where the possible problem is and we will check it out and deal with that. I say pm because it will be eaier for us to see it then if you post it somewhere. If you know for a fact that the post or topic is breaking rules pm the person saying your topic/post got deleted for isertreasonhere (remember to be specific [example: Your thread "Join My Guild!" got deleted because you broke the rule of no advertising please do not do it again] and then delete the post/thread. If you find that you have had to pm someone numerous times for rule breaking please pm Ace or myself so it can be brought to our attention and delt with. If you have any further questions of what to do feel free to pm myself or Ace any time we will be glad to answer your questions 3nodding I said this just to clear things up since I don't know if mods were ever told exactly what to do or whatever if you guys already knew this sorry.

*hopes Ace don't get mad at me for saying all this*
