Devon grabbed Selina's shoulder and pulled her away.
Serion shot Ice Spears down at Yamato them from where he still stood on the platform he'd made.

Yamato smiled and lifted up something in front of him, an unconscious Yukiko, who was lying on the ground next to Yamato and Selina.

Selina kicked one of the Ics Spears out of the air and into a second one. The remaining attacks only grazed Yukiko. She elbowed Devon in the ribs to get him to release her. "That's just not fair." She told Yamato. "You, put her down right now!"

Yamato shrugged. "Kay." He slid his blade across Yukiko's throat and dropped her, leaving her clutching her throat to try and stop the bleeding. He picked up Chie and held her up. "Wanna go again?" He waved his sword.
