((how did they get there so fast?))
Anthony got in after Rose. It was a little harder with an injured arm.

"You think I look silly, don't you" Anthony asked.
Tony waited until Rose and Anthony were out of sight, he got up, removed his hat, fixed his hair, and walked in the direction of the Ferris Wheel. He would have to be careful. Ferris Wheels went really high so he could easily be spotted.

The fairs wheel started to move and Rose hid her mouth movements with her hand cupped on her cheek, "Alright, back to business. To me there are three choices, 1) We keep what you are a secret, to which I'll have to quite in not explaning everything to the exact measure. 2) I arrest you and we both get wacked. 3) We go to the chief and you agree to be a double agent. I keep my job and we both don't get killed. Plus, there could be a win for the police in this deal." ((Sorry g2g))

Beans sat at his table, beginning to drink his soda again before realizing it was empty. With a shrug, he tossed into a nearby bin.
Now, they were going to the Ferris Wheel so as to not be overheard? It was obvious - to him, and because of that to anyone else who might be watching.
Then Beans turned his head to casually glance around. His original deduction into the situation had led him to believe that Anthony was indeed, most likely a part of the Mafia. Rose, however, he wasn't sure about. If they were both in the Mafia, she certainly wouldn't be trying to tell about it.
So, at least Rose was clean. Possibly Anthony as well - or he could be in deep. Deep enough to be an integral part of the Mafia. So deep that he deserved no quarter or peace from either Beans or Rose.
But that was how Rose was. She had a burning sense of justice, and of equality. She was passionate about her work - about saving others and protecting the law. Why else join a job that involves mostly book work?
Beans did not know Anthony too terribly well, but he did know Rose, and both he liked to consider friends. Good friends, possibly, in Rose's case.
(Though not that good of friends - not in that way, at least. Claire he would remain loyal to for the remainder of his life.)
Point of all this being, in the worst case scenario, Anthony would indeed be part of the Mafia, and knowing this, Beans was more than prepared for said organization to be mulling about, watching and waiting.
Now, Rose might indeed be a kick-a** person and an excellent cop, but she was only twenty-one years old. Beans had fourteen years of experience on her - and he knew how to spot the kind of people who want to be inconspicuous.
Almost immediately while surveying the surrounding zoo grounds, Beans spotted four - no, six - different men who he would bet his life on being Mafia, or at least people watching other people for some reason or another.
And then two or three more - and possibly even more than that - who got up and followed the pair of police to the Ferris Wheel.
And Beans would surely not spot them all. And there was nothing he could do about it - a police shootout, or a firefight, here - would result in too many innocent victims. Best to find the quickest, easiest, least-noticeable way out of the zoo and somewhere truly safe - like a police station.
No, they wouldn't be able to avoid being seen entering the police station by Mafia eyes - or avoid letting any other Mafia agents in the station know they were there. It was a tough thing - not knowing where anyone's loyalties existed.
So, for the time being, at least, Beans just sat and watched his surroundings, seeming like any other guy. His coat conveniently kept his shoulder harness and GP 35 hidden from view.
