d**k Grayson Wally_West Clark~Kent Patsy Walker Alan Scott Wally_West I'm guessing you gave away your Clark name....again. He said he really wanted it. sad To whom? It's fairly obvious. I'm not a fan of name reassignment, mainly because it confuses the folks here who can't keep track of who's who. How can you be friendly with someone if you don't know who it is behind the screen name? Agreed, I try and make contact with those I can outside of Kapow, some refuse and some welcome it, but to just stare at an avatar after thinking you know someone and know that another person is staring back? No offence to anyone, you are more than inclined to do what you want with whatever and whatnot... I've met a lot of nice people here in Kapow. Barring knowing their real names, I refer to them by their primary accounts.

I don't know any of you and most of you use more than one name, how is this any different? confused

Well, some of us take the time to meet those around. Be it only along an instant messenger or via another means. But, I do know the majority of everyone and their mules...seeing as most everyone posted on the Mules thread we had a good while back.

I can't speak for anyone else, but a) I tell everyone who I am, always and b) I've not toggled my accounts around to other people.
As Patrick said, though, others act differently, and that's their perogative.

It's different cause I wouldn't up and give like Patsy my Kitty name if I don't want it anymore. I would see about changing it to something else. (Not that I will) It's just general curtisy to not confused everyone else.

You have a unique posting style and mannerisms and once we get to know them that is how we identify "you".

I don't know any of you and most of you use more than one name, how is this any different? confused Posting style learned through interaction with a particular handler. You have a unique posting style and mannerisms and once we get to know them that is how we identify "you". I choose my characters knowing that I wasn't going to get tired of them and just pass it along to another.
