Well that dashed the hope that Kyo might be with him. But there was still hope. "Thank ye, lad." Orient says. He buys the pitcher, then gets out of there , heading toward Jatrick.

The Coloured pair were in Jatrick, but not for long if Uriel could help it. His robbery job had just gone foul. He'd signalled Kyo to get their things and get to their meeting spot outside of town by sending up a flair of purple energy for the Blue to see.
That flair was him transforming. Over the last couple of years he'd gotten much better at controlling himself in Lupine form... and it made for a very quick get away. He races across the rooftops of the town, following the main road out of town towards their next destination.

Just outside of Jatrick, Orient happens to spot a wolf... but it's larger than any wolf he'd ever seen until that day when Uriel had transformed... He squints hard in the darkness and his heart starts beating faster. He decides to follow the wolf, because it could very well be Uriel. If it's not, then Orient has lost nothing, because if he's dead, his heart can't hurt nearly as much as it has for the past two years.

The wolf's moving terribly fast, and it's not likely Orient could keep up. But, if he's paying enough attention, it seems pretty obvious that the creature is actually following the road, as if it didn't want to get lost. Orient might be able to track it.

Orient is one used to following treasure maps and scant trails that are almost impossible to follow. He manages to follow the wolf, sure it's human after realizing the thing was following the road. Anytime he gets thrown off, he looks for the footprints, because anything mkoving that quickly is bound to leave tracks.
The trail finally comes to an end at a hollowed tree with a scrap of material covering the entrance. It's not terribly obvious, but for someone used to looking for little barely obvious clues, it's like a red flag. He climbs up the tree a little, and pushes the material aside.

Uriel had made it to the tree that was Kyo and his meeting place in no time, but he knew it would take Kyo a while to get there with their things, and he was always tired after transforming. He'd left pants in the tree once they picked it as their meeting spot, because transforming always leaves him naked afterwards. He was just settling in to try to fall asleep a bit, when he heard something outside the tree.
He listened carefully, and the noises started to soudn more and more like someone snooping around. It was far too soon for Kyo to be there, and Kyo would be coming straight up, not examining things. As whoever it is starts to climb the tree, uriel walks up the side of the hollow area until he's above the hole. The entryway was small enough that even someone just trynig to look through would have to crouch down and peek in some.
When he does see a head coming through, he pulls the person the rest of the way into the space, he then attempts to grapple them and pin them to the ground, to see who it was. He was very concious of the dagger by his waist band, that he might be forced to use on the intruder.

So, Uriel had learned since their last little training session. Orient flips himself around so that he's face to face with the purple. "I knew it was you!" he cries.

The original plan had been to question the intruder, but as soon as he rolled over Uriel was speechless, unable to belief the face that was looking at him. In the darkness of the tree, his purple eyes were very bright, almost shining. Since he was currently shirtless, it was very obvious that he was still wearing the amethyst necklace that Orient had bought him too. He just stares at Orient a few moments, but then he can't hold himself back anymore and he leans down to kiss Orient desperately.

Orient may have been hoping for this type of greeting, but he certainly hadn't expected it. The kiss comes as a surprise, but he's actively participating within mere seconds. Goodness, he'd missed this.

Uriel manages to get some shred of control over his libido, enough to ask, "What are you doing here?"

Orient smirks and it's a very sexy smirk. "I heard a rumor. I followed the trail. 'T'wasn't that hard."

"I... but why are you here?" Uriel asks, extricating himself from Orient, because he doesn't want this to get out of control, and he really needs to sleep.

"Ye and Kyo are m'friends. If I heard ye were nearby, I'd make an effort t'see ye both." Orient replies. "I missed ye. Both of ye... but ye th'mos'..." he looks away. "If ye wan' me t'go..."

Uriel shakes his head, sitting down where he can lean back against the tree, "No... I just... I'm not going to be able to stay up much longer. Transforming leaves me exhausted."

"Then sleep. I'm th'one that intruded on you. We c'n catch up when ye wake." Orient brushes a lock of much shorter hair out of Uriel's face.
