Orient goes back into his room and rifles around a bit. He comes back out and hands Doran a package. "Good luck."

The redhead nods a bit, and goes back out to help Siryn finish packing up their things.

As stated before, Doran and Siryn found a lovely little place to live. It awsn't big, but they weren't exactly planning on having a big family (they weren't planning on the family they were getting even!). Doran gets a job as a stable hand... which isn't pretty work, and it's not really anything he's interested in. He earns a decent wage though, more than enough to supplement the money they started with, and at least he gets to come home each night to his love. The package Orient had given them was money, so it didn't look like they'd have to sell the jewelry anytime soon, if at all.
Siryn had indeed been pregnant, and after around 9 months, out comes a beautiful baby boy, red head of course. They name him Raegan Caspian O'Connor.

Kyo had gone off with Uriel when they left the ship. He'd spent the subsequent two years with the boy, no longer such a boy anymore. He'd fought off purples and kept his eye out for his lost love. He'd continued having the dreams about Caspian throughout those two years, and each time he'd have them, Caspian's hair would be longer, but his face strangely bare...

Uriel had gotten out of the whoring business rather quickly, partially from having money sitting aroudn so he didn't need to work, partly wanting to keep himself as much Orient's as he could, and partially because he quickly grew up enough that men didn't really want him. He didn't look like a boy anymore, although he was a very beautiful man. He'd chopped off his long hair, and grown a couples inches.
He'd gone even further than just taking money from purples, becomming a bit of a theif on the side, for when they needed it. He was getting along well with Kyo, although the suddenly lack of any sex after being used to it constantly all his teenage life had left him wanting a lot in that department. He'd grown more confident in himself, and knowing that someone out there had once loved him regardless of what he was had greatly reduced his self-loathing. Knowing that he was doing good by killing other purples also helped... and made him more powerful.

As Orient had said, he'd left the ship, and left pirating behind, for the time being. He had most of his gold and treasure holed away, hidden somewhere that only he knew about it. He knew that if he had kept it on him, he'd have spent all of it on Rum. If any of his old crew were to see him now, he'd be horribly embarrassed. He'd vowed never to become like the captain, but here he was, drunk every night and starting with the drink earlier and earlier every day.
One night, he's at a bar, drinking rum, when he hears someone talking. They're talking about a purple eyed demon that has powers beyond anything they'd ever seen. Orient had seen powers, and he only knew one person with purple eyes... Uriel. His heart aches anew at the mere thought of that name, but he's desperate... He walks over to the man talking about this demon.
"I'll buy ye a pitcher if ye tell me more abou' this demon." he says.

The man takes a moment deciding where to start, "Well. Y'know the Seri River? Runs like a path past several towns this way. An' com'in down the path have been the rumours, spreading town by town. A demon with purple eyes, mostly said to be some kind of creature, tho some'ave claimed it can take human shape. The one town, Tesan, had a building destroyed by what people claim was some kind of battle betwixt demons.
"Personally, I'm suspicious, as a rash o' theiveries 'ave been following the rumours 'round the same time, so I expect might be some sor' o' band o thieves, spreading the rumours themselves, fer some reason."
