Miki tilted his head in puzzlement at the two girls. Why would they be heading over to him? He didn't know who they were . . . though perhaps they knew him. Miki's eyes widened. Did they know who he was? Could they fill in the gaps in his memory from where there was nothing but darkness? One of them seemed quite shy, like he was, while the other was egging her on. Miki began to get edgy, feeling awkward about the impending social activity. Maybe he should make a run for it . . .

The two girls grew closer and closer to Miki, step by step, inch by inch. Just as they were close enough in talking range, Tiff stopped and let go of Kiyowa. Knowing that he just got out of the hospital Tiff decided to make the welcoming nice and quiet. When Tiff looked at his face, he seemed confused and scared. Tiffany just smiled and started to introduce herself. "Hello, my name is Tiffany Savior, but you can call me Tiff! And this over here is Kiyowa Sakisomeru, but you can call her Kiyowa!"
Kiyowa lightly smiled and waved at Miki, while Tiffany lightly bowed to him. Kiyowa then cleared her throat, seeing that Miki was confused about them approaching him. "Well you see, the reason why we came here to say hello is because we found you unconscience here at the Courtyard. Me, Tiff, and Michio helped you out and took you to the hospital. We, well, just wanted to know how you are doing?"

Miki opened his mouth to thank them for helping him, and to tell them he was alright, but no sound came out. Snapping his mouth shut he remembered that for the last hour or so he'd been speaking only in his mind; he'd forgotten about his physical impairment. Blushing in embarrassment and frustration he just shrugged and turned away from them. Even if he could speak he wouldn't know how to copy Tiffany's pronunciation of her friend's name. It was Japanese, like his, but it was far too long.

"Miki was in the hospital!?" Keila exclaimed suddenly. "Mickeyyy.." she turned up to him, waiting to see if she could tell them anything. "Just tell me what you want to say and I'll say it for you."

Seeing Miki's expression and actions didnt suprise Tiff and Kiyowa. Tiffany lightly smiled while Kiyowa slowly nodded at Tiff. "It's ok, we understand your predicament..."
Tiffany and Kiyowa then turned to the girl next to him. She seemed worried about him of how her voice expression was.

Miki flushed even more now. He'd never had attention from girls before, not that he could remember, and now three of them were making a big fuss over him. Of course to anyone else it would seem to be nothing at all but Miki wasn't used to this. It's nothing, he told Keila, refusing to meet anyone's gaze and shifting his weight from his right foot to his left, And if you could just thank them for me . . . Miki trailed off. He felt sort of silly, being unable to say so himself. It was almost like he was speaking another language. Or like he wasn't there at all.

"Miki says thanks for helping him out earlier." she looked back to Tiff and Kiyowa. "And I'm Keila by the way, it's nice to meet you two." Keila smiled a small bit, trying to seem nice. She looked up to them, noting how short she was again... it became very annoying after periods of time..

Tiffany smiled and Kiyowa nodded politely at Miki and Keila. Tiffany again bowed down at the both of them and smiled heavenly. "It was no problem Miki!!"
Tiffany then regained her composure and looked at Keila, along with Kiyowa. "And it was nice to meet you as well Keila!" "Yes...very..."
Tiffany then looked at the courtyard clock and frowned a bit. "Sorry, but me and Kiyowa have to get going. Perhaps we could meet up sometime soon!!" Tiffany smiled and nodded her head. Kiyowa's face stayed emotionless as she turned around walking into the school. Tiffany followed Kiyowa into the school, but waved back at the two before she went inside.

It was a wonderful day at the courtyard. The temperature was perfect, not too cold and not too hot. The birds were chirping and the wind gave out a nice breeze, nothing compared to Heaven. Heaven was just a lot of clouds and floating buildings, almost like roman buildings. But Makie's thoughts of angels made Sakura Ai smile lightly. But she was slightly wrong. Angels had to stay at there birthplace, they couldn't just fly around freely. You had to do everything perfect, no mistakes, and had strict rules. While at the demon world, or hell as what huamns call it, they could do anything they wanted, no rules would serve them. Sometimes, Sakura Ai wished she was a demon..but she is happy that she was 'exiled' from Heaven and was sent to Earth. She was happy that met some friends instead of rivals and people hating her.
"Miss Mary Mack sounds like fun although its been sometime since i've played it. I probably also forgot the words to it" she said with a light laugh as she placed the net and the ball next to the tree that Makie recommended to her, she also placed her bag down. She got out a hair elastic and put up her blonde hair in a loose ponytail.
"Your right Makie. This is a gorgeous place" She said. Although the big tree stood lonely without another tree next it, but it had a wonderful view of the campus. YOu could probably see almost anything up there. She sat down next to her stuff and started to blow up the volleyball with her air, she narroed her eyes at the ball as it grew bigger. Once she was done, she placed the aired-up volley ball next to her bag and slowly unfolded the net, holding out one side to Makie.
"Could you please help me with putting up the volleyball net?" she said as her eyes went straight toward Makie's.

Miki followed the two girls leaving with his eyes, and at approximately the same time two more girls entered the Courtyard with some bizarre equipment. His hunger forgotten now, he pulled out of Keila's gasp and moved around so he could get a better view of them. He looked as if he had never seen a volleyball or a volleyball net before, which was probably true.
But there was something else as well.
Miki could hear something, very faint, and it sounded a lot like a single chord. He had no clue what kind of instrument it was though. Tilting his head in curiosity he inched forward and closed his eyes, trying to pinpoint the noise. It was gone just as he was ready to listen more closely. With a sigh he opened his eyes and . . . as soon as they fell upon the blonde the chord struck again. Wonderment filled him at how such a thing was possible. Was this his power? If it was, he still had absolutely no clue as to what exactly it could do.

Makie skipped out to the courtyard slightly infront of Sakura. Her brownish hair flew back each time she advanced. And her small ponytails would lightly bounce up and down with each jump. It didn't take long until they arrived at the great tree. That was where she stopped. She looked up and putting her hand above her eyes, shielding them from the bits of sun peeking through. 'I forgot how big this tree is.' She thought, as Sakura began to set up.
"Well, I can re-teach you!" Makie said with a giggle, beginning to walk over to her. "Yeah, This was the first place I went to when I came here. "And I think the tree likes it when we compliment it. And the tree also likes it when we're by it!" She giggled again. She often thought every thing had feeling. Even stuff like books, or benches. So she never left things on the cold floor when she slept.
"Okie dokie! Here comes Makie-san!" She said getting the other side of the net. "Makie-san will aid Sakura in putting up the net!" She began to take the top side and tying it the pole. Then she did the same with the lower corner. After she looked up at Sakura. Her chocolate eyes looked at her as she put up the net. She smiled.
((Sorry for the long reply. I was eating lunch. sweatdrop ))

It didn't take them any longer than five minutes to put up the volley ball net, all you had to do was to tie the four edges to each of the two poles. She placed her hands on her hips as she let out a giant relieved sigh. Although setting up a net is easy but it was quite heavy since it was the two of them setting it up. The wind slowly picked up and blew some of Sakura Ai's blonde hair around as she looked over at Makie to see if she was okay dokie.
"Whoo.." she said as she went over by the tree to grab the volley ball, but she couldn't help bet to feel like she was being watched. She shrugged off the feeling and grabbed the volley ball by her two pale hands and walked over to Makie with a proud smile on her face.
"Here you can go first" she said as she threw the ball over at Makie and made her way over to the other side of the net. Man, how Oliver was missing out on this and so was everyone else she met when she first came to Ria. When she came to the point that she was on the other side of the net, she folded her hands together and straightened them out, letting her palmsface the sky. She was getting in a position so she could focus upon Makie, but they weren't playing a real game, they were simply having fun on a summer day.

Makie stopped looking at Sakura after she shrugged. Maybe she knew she was looking at her? She shook her arms to get ready for their game. They weren't going to have a realy competition though. They were just having fun. She brushed back her brownish hair back as Sakura passed her the ball. Then she went to the other side of the net.
She threw the ball up in the air, then it canme back down. She hit it and then watched it sore over the net over to Sakura. Her chocolate eyes focused on the ball. "Wheee!" She gave out a small cry. It was so small, you could hardly hear it. I mean Makie couldn't have Sakura messing up. She waited for the ball to bo returned to her.
'Too bad Oliver and Feena aren't here.' She thought with a quick sigh. 'I guess we can go get them later or some other time.' She took a deep breath as she rubbed her hands together. She had no reason to do so, however.

It was almost as if Miki had become hypnotized by the motion of the volleyball flying through the air. It looked as if the ball were moving back and forth between the net of its own accord, and the two girls- one of which he knew in the back of his mind was Makie- simply chased after it to try and knock it down. Of course this wasn't what the game was about at all, and Miki took a few steps closer to see the field of play more clearly. He didn't stop until he was close enough to touch the pole of the net, and he moved his cat-like gaze in time to the motion of the ball.
