Bakura closed his eyes, two tears sliding out from under his lashes. "I shouldn't have gone out alone, I shouldn't have let myself be taken off guard by him... Say whatever you like, Rei, but I will always know this is my fault."

"Priest..." Bakura called. Seto, who had just finished re-wrapping Ayira's wrists, turned. "My shoulders seem to be dislocated. Can you fix that?" Seto shrugged and moved over to Bakura, warning him that this would hurt. He propped the thief up before swiftly, giving no warning to Bakura, relocated his shoulder with a loud crack. Bakura yelled out, and Seto quickly did the other one before hte pain could settle in.

Rei jumped slightly staying beside bakura. She gently ran her fingers threw bakuras hair.

Bakura slumped over slightly, and Seto got up, heading into Bakura and Rei's bedroom. He came back with a kilt for Bakura and a dress for Rei. "Before you put that on, though, Rei..." He said, handing the clothing to the owner. "Let me look at your burns. We might have some salve for you."

"Ok" rei said and held the dress and kai to her chest. The had ban burns on the top of her arms,all over her legs and on her back.

Seto examined the burns, making a small 'hmm' sound. He finally sighed. "I don't think the salve you have will do much for you. At the palace, though, there is much better medical equipment... I'm taking Ayira back there later on, once she wakes up and is okay with it. May I recommend that you two come as well?"

Rei shook her head "No that wouldent be safe for us. The burns will heal over time." she gently rocked kek who had calmed down.

Seto was silent, looking at Kek. He wanted to offer to request that the pharaoh send out a search for Mariku and their daughter, but didn't know how to phrase the question without sounding like an a**, or that he expected her to be dead. Bakura bowed his head, shaking, obviously struggling with his emotions. He usually only cried in front of Rei, if he had to. The realization that his daughter was gone was becoming too much for him to bear.

[Just to the next day, I guess. Well, maybe two days. Like Ayira wakes up and she and Seto go back to the palace. Nanu is completely okay so Atem is allowed to see her. Bakura and Rei are still at the house and trying to figure out what to do.]

It had been two days so nanu finaly was able to see atem. She snuck up behind him,blowing in his ear "Boo."
Ayira and seto where on there was back to the palace. They had said goodbye to them and rode off.

Atem jumped at Nanu's surprise greeting. He whirled around, his eyes wide, and then broke out into a smile when he saw her. The Millennium Eye was a little haunting, but he could easily overlook that. He was just glad she was alive, and didn't mind showing it. "Nanu! You're okay!" He shouted, hugging her tightly. Seto was the one riding; he held the reins, and even if they were out of sight of the oasis, he couldn't help but look over his shoulder. "I'm not sure if we should have left like that... So soon." He said, as they neared the palace. Bakura was having trouble coping with every day life. It had just been two days, but he hadn't made much progress towards... well, anything. He hadn't told anybody anything that had happened with him and Mariku, though it was clear what had transpired. He had fallen silent most of the time, staring dully at the ground or the sky.
