*Aykon puts on his traveling clothes and loads all his bags aboard the Gatekeeper. He wanted to end this tonight and head home but he had unfinished business.*
*He heads out to the tavern and sits on the outside of the bar for a moment before deciding some alcohol was in order. He makes himself a Silverclear and lights a smoke, waiting for either two ladies to show up.*

*Synge stared at her packed bag and looked around the room with a sigh. She wasn't at all thrilled with where she was headed. Sadly she swung her bag over her shoulder and headed downstairs, key and shoes in hand. When she got to the bottom of the stairs she slipped her boots on and noticed Aykon was sitting near the bar. A small smile crossed her lips as she headed over to him. With a short wave she greeted him with a broader smile.*

Syngey *She takes a seat near the bar and sets her bag down on the ground next to her.*Oh not bad. How about you? *She suddenly thought of the scene she had heard earlier and wondered how he was adjusting to all this new information, but kept this to herself.* Well it's not so bad...I was betrayed, I used someone, everyone is in pain and most of it won't heal for a while, if ever...other than that...I guess I came out ok. Of course, Heather probably thinks I am a blubbering idiot. *He took a drink from his glass and took a puff off his smoke.*

Well...I realized, in hindsight, that all this time I had never let her go. I tried to get her back...Rhodes busted in, made me look like a fool and so on...
Perhaps when Benjamin steps in he can clear the nasty out..

That sounds rough...So you think you've lost your chance with Fire? Rhodes...that is surprising, I'm sorry. I can't imagine how you must feel.

Oh don't worry about me. Like I told you when I first got here, I'm used to this kind of thing. Anyway, a trip to my real home is years and years overdue. I need to face some ghosts...
