*Sigh* ... Almost 20 hours and still no new posts in the RP section. C'mon, guys, pick up the pace a little! >_<
Also, it's a real shame Steve Irwin died, he was always so entertaining and friendly, I used to grip the sides of my chair during the first season of Crocodile Hunter. I think he'll forever be known as the crazy Aussie who gets way too close to angry creatures. Bless his family and friends.
For those of you who weren't aware of the circumstances, he died instantly when a stingray barb punctured his chest and heart while filming a documentary in North Queensland. So yeah, chances are he died doing what he loved.

I'm really sad about this, Steve was one of the main people that made me love animals so much, and I was glad he was showing that the ones that are hated by a lot of people (crocidiles amoung them), are really just animals trying to live, and that we do more damage to them then they've ever done to us.
Add that on to that fact that some a** holes I work with actually thought that it was funny the way he died. They don't even now that the sting ray isn't even that dangerous to humans.
Which is really cruelly ironic actually, the fact that he was killed by an animal that rarely, rarely ever prooves fatal for humans, it just hurts like hell. I mean, after all the poisonous snakes, crocs, lion and komodo dragons, he was killed by something that has less chance of happening than me walking out side and getting hit by a car.
I want to try and get a letter to the family telling them how much Steve influenced my love for animals.
