[[Louis : Mothership : Bridge]]
Louis shrugged as he raised an eyebrow at Bobbi. Louis knew his arguments would go unheard with a reaction like that, no use continuing, "Understood," Louis backed off, resuming his original position leaning up against the wall.
Regardless if they'd listen to me... this is an interesting development. An army? Is there really going to be some kind of war? A skirmish over an island magic supply sure... but an all-out, direct war?
The arcanist stopped mid-scratching the back of his head, Wait... is that their plan? The forces of light WANT an all out battle to occur? Winner takes all with a home field advantage?
Louis unfroze and shifted, alleviating the pressure of his right shoulder, Still... is it enough though? Will the darkness really take the bait? Or will it take advantage of their foolishness?

{Valmar : Dark Margin : Dark Beach -> Flying Dutchman}
With the disappearance of two ladies, Valmar turned his attention back to the other two women, before vaguely listening to Ajora speak. War, fighting, somewhat interesting. He was sure he could find something better to do. Eventually. For now though, it might be in my best interests to follow what's-her-face. Seems like a promising way to end the night. He chuckled darkly as he watched her disappear into the portal.
Twirling his fingers, he pulled a steady stream of sand from the ground while he walked, intent on having something to keep him occupied. If nothing else, he could always go swimming. Or hunting. Either worked.
After stepping through the portal and appearing on deck, Valmar glanced between his new associates. None looked like they could offer anything even remotely interesting. "Hello gorgeous. Is that offer still good?" He asked as he sidled up next to Not-Amy, the sand forming a hovering question mark in the air.

{Kyle : Hawaii : Mothership Mess Hall -> Wandering}
Sitting down at the table, Kyle ate slowly, enjoying the taste after the battle. Even when they mentioned going to see the Grand Councilwoman, he still kept eating. He was sure he could catch up with them later if he wanted to know that badly. Well, it was probably very important information. Very important. And it was waging war with the food over the most important part. It didn't win.
Alas, it eventually had to end. It wasn't like an infinite plate of deliciousness anyway. Just a temporary one. With stomach full, Kyle got up and cleaned his plate and nodded to the odd...thing...that had made the meal. Then he started walking, not quite feeling like going to the big meeting, but not really feeling sleep either.
Starting down a hall, he found somebody that he could only vaguely recognize. He hadn't played the Final Fantasy game he was in, but he did remember him from Dissidia. So...his name was Zidane right? The monkey thing. Seemed like a cool guy. Getting closer, he waved at him. 'Hey there. How's it going?"

[ Ajora ; ??? : Ivalice : Pharos Lighthouse Ascension ]"Isn't it, love?" he said, so enthralled by the situation that he didn't realize (nor would he have cared) about what he'd called her. He continued to gaze up, but he looked around to all the different platforms, analyzing what would be the best path to take.
"Wait right here, I'm going to check ahead in case there's anything waiting for us," he said, slipping into a Corridor of Darkness.
He appeared on one of the higher floors and immediately sent out five Void Spheres, each glowing with a crimson eye as they soared around the various levels and paths. While he did that, he moved as well, checking paths left alone by his magic eyes. He ran into a number of doorways which he faintly remembered, from his previous incarnation, as being the 'correct' paths that one must take- defeating powerful, Mist-possessed creatures in order to continue. While he was sure he and his allies could make short work of them, he'd rather skip the pleasantries.
Boom, baby!
One of his eyes had reached the uppermost level- a single ring around the tower, rising with numerous small staircases, until finally, at the final level, a waystone, surrounded by stone runes, glowed, waiting to be used.
All the Void Spheres rushed into the spot in front of the waystone and converged, opening a Corridor of Darkness, first for Ajora, and then for the others. Ajora walked toward the Waystone and turned to face the portal, awaiting the others. The moment they arrived and took their places near the stone, he would activate it...
---
And in a flash, the group would appear in a massive hall of ornate stone. The waystone itself was situated on a massive balcony opening, facing out toward black, empty skies. It was night, obviously, so everything was dark, not even a sign of the moon- they could look down, however, and see black seas, both of water... and of black sand and, scattered about, black crystals, black, dead trees...
What would have most caught their attention, however, would be the brilliantly shining light coming from the end of the hall. Hovering in the center, above a large glass circle, was something so blindingly bright that it would take their eyes a few moments to adjust to its stunning gleam in this pitch blackness. It lit up the hall as though it were daytime, and Ajora had no doubt that it could be seen from miles and miles away, like a beacon.
How literal a term.
This was the Sun-Cryst. A massive, mythical crystal of Nethicite claimed to have been made by the gods themselves.
Those with him would feel almost... giddy. Ecstatic with the pure Dark energy just seeping around the room. Here, they could recharge in mere minutes, whereas it would take possibly hours to recharge even in the Realm of Darkness. Despite it's shimmering light, this stone-- the Sun-Cryst -- was pure, concentrated, deifacted Darkness.
Ajora wordlessly stepped forward, almost as if entranced. He wanted to get closer, to touch it, to take it, to listen to it--"Ah, yes, I expected one of your ilk to make it here eventually. Darkness naturally converges upon Darkness, after all."Ajora froze and turned to face the source. Stepping out of the shadow of a pillar was a tall, darkly tanned man, with long, white hair and shining golden eyes, an ornate yet familiar coat...
"Ah, Xehanort's Heartless. Why am I surprised," Ajora sneered, obviously frustrated at having been interrupted. "I don't suppose you mind visitors?""Why would I? You are a fellow Seeker of Darkness, no?" he said, crossing his arms in a deep, ominous chuckle. "We are all allies to the same cause. Your only error is that you do not realize how truly connected we all are. All worlds begin in Darkness, and all so end...""The heart is no different," Ajora finished, straightening his posture and releasing some of his tension. This was... a pleasant surprise. "Then you do not mind my guests, either?""Not in the slightest," he responded, clearly amused by the neophyte's caution. [[ Click here for a visual of the Sun-Cryst room. [Joe: Hawaii: Mothership]
The male had waved Kyle on to do his thing. Joe was too...distracted to actually be any use in a political conversation. Even he knew that much(not like he would've tried involving himself on purpose anyway. He wasn't the best at wording things most of the time.)
[Az: Ivalice: Pharos Lighthouse Ascension]
The male had been staying quiet as he followed after Ajora, his usual cocky air seemingly gone as his fingers seemed to twitch at his sides at any small noise or movement. They were as deep in possible enemy territory as they could get, it wasn't safe. And with the likes of Kefka about, anything could be considered dangerous, and something could come out of nowhere.
The Sun-Cryst, though, seemed to make Az feel...comfortable, though. Like he just got wrapped up in a blanket. An electric blanket. Without all the sweating. It was...enjoyable.
Of course, as soon as 'Ansem' spoke, the male's right hand spazzed, razor winds swirling around it and aimed at the Heartless, before lowering, the winds dying down but not completely gone. No, not good to get caught off guard. Especially by someone that dangerous.

[Nick :: Ivalice :: Pharos Lighthouse Ascention]
Nick followed Ajora, his gaze shifting around the large space. He always had a weird like for wide open areas...that were indoors. The outside world always seemed so disasterous, so horrid. If he was a shut-in, so be it. At least he was a happy shut-in.
Out of nowhere, Ansem appeared. The Seeker of Darkness, if Nick remembered correctly. He hadn't faced Ansem in the first Kingdom Hearts game, and he had no idea what his true power was like. Unconsciously, Chaos' sword appeared in his hand and he stared at the Heartless. One would notice that his hand was obviously shaking, but it wasn't out of fear of the powerful man. It was out of rage, hatred, bloodlust. He gritted his teeth, doing his best to restrain himself from charging and cutting the white haired man into pieces.

[Alice :: Ivalice :: Pharos Lighthouse Ascention]
Alice silently cursed herself for being so careless. She had been so taken by the luminescence of the crystal that she allowed the presence of someone to slip by her. A costly mistake had it been anyone else and even then with Ansem, she couldn't let her guard down; no matter what words spilled from his mouth. The animator kept silent, her hands already free of her gloves since their entrance into the tower. If she needed to strike, then there would be nothing hindering her. Azrael and Nick had already responded, there was no need for her to appear so frazzled.
Keeping a tight grip on the reins of her emotions, she remained relaxed, taking in her surroundings. There wasn't much in decor compared to the foyer but she could make do should a situation arise. Alys hovered behind her master, in the safety of the shadows and the long threads of the plush began to slowly unravel...

[Zidane :: Hawaii :: Mothership]
There was no doubt that the poor thief was confused aboard the alien mothership. The place was vast with so many halls to turn down and get oneself lost in. Luckily for the Genome, someone was walking right towards him and they waved too! Zidane quickly glanced behind him to make sure it wasn't directed at anyone else less he look stupid by waving back. Assured that no one was behind him, Zidane smiled and returned the gesture. Wish it was a pretty girl, but hey, who can complain?
"Hiya! Are you as lost as I am around this place?"

[ Ajora ; Xehanort's Heartless : Ivalice : Pharos Lighthouse Ascension ]"--Though it seems they are not too fond of me," the Heartless Seeker spoke, his brow raised in amusement at the sight of their swift reaction. Slowly, almost lazily, the shadows behind him began to shift and mold themselves into Xehanort's Guardian, which remained behind him, waiting. "Just a bit on edge, that's all," Ajora responded, glancing back at them with a bit of a taut smile before turning back to the Sun-Cryst, beginning to walk once again. Once he got close enough, he reached out his right hand, palm facing the massive crystal-- only to hear Xehanort's low chuckle."Are you really so sure that this is the right decision?" he asked, arms crossed as he watched the Bloody Executioner hesitate. "Surely, you feel its power. Do you truly believe you can control it?""I do not wish to," he answered, turning his head just over his shoulder to face the Heartless. "But if it is indeed deifacted, then perhaps it will allow me a gift, hmm?"
Xehanort merely shrugged, and without further ado, Ajora placed his palm upon the Sun-Cryst's surface, touching the gem in his palm to the massive stone. For a moment, nothing happened, and he furrowed his brows in concentration...
Only for a cyclone of energy to encompass the crystal and himself, rising up to the ceiling, though it did not seem to affect the others in the room.
As the cyclone appeared and grew, the air of the area changed, becoming less enticing and more oppressive-- not out of hostility, but out of pure force of command. From the base of the lighthouse rose spiraling currents of crimson energy, all rushing and accumulating into the energy cyclone that currently enveloped Ajora; shortly afterward, the crimson energy spread outward like a fiery Mist. The sky around the Pharos swirled with magic activity as clouds began to surround the tower, crackling with magic lightning charged by the ominous Mist energies, which quickly began to coagulate within the cyclone once more before erupting in a horizontal shockwave (which merely phased through the others harmlessly), spreading for miles in any direction. Following the shockwave were what appeared to be flaming, Mist-manifest spirits, heading for horizons unknown.
Once all was said and done, the cyclone slowly dissipated, revealing... that nothing had actually changed besides the brilliance of the Sun-Cryst. Though it glimmered with magic light, it was no longer blinding, though it was no longer oppressive, either. The only immediately noticeable change was in the expression of Xehanort's Heartless, who looked...
Baffled.
Suddenly, the Sun-Cryst once more shined with its original brilliance and Ajora was yanked into the air, hovering a few feet above the ground, his arms just off his sides, his feet just barely spread, and his head cocked all the way up to the ceiling. From his eyes and mouth sprouted black beams of energy, and within seconds, four more beams seemed to appear from his forehead, like two more rows of eyes. If anyone even tried to approach him, they would find themselves interrupted by a barrier of magic.--- [ Seymour : Hawaii : Mothership ]The Guado Maester, sitting in the corner of the Mess Hall as he had been since they'd arrived, seemed to visibly tense, eyes narrowing for a moment before he grew calm again, raising a long, claw-like finger up to his temple to rub it, as though he had a headache.--- [ Kuja : Caribbean : Shipwreck Cove ]The Genome, which had been lazily hovering above the Cove as if to keep a look out over the seas, almost seemed to drop for a split second before regaining his composure. Though far out of view from anyone, he seemed to glance over his shoulder almost instinctively before returning to his vigil.--- [ Vayne ; Ghis : Ivalice : Archades : Personal Office ]"So, what you're telling me, Ghis, is that some unknown trio in spandex suits boarded the Leviathan and revealed you for the fool that you-"Without warning, Emperor Vayne Solidor of Archadia hesitated, tightening his grip dangerously on the desk and taking his eyes off the holoscreen with which he was speaking to Judge Magister Ghis, who still looked weary, despite his armor. After the pause, Judge Magister Ghis cautiously spoke up. "My lord...?""Return to Archades. There are more important things than lost treasures," he ordered before shutting off the holoscreen entirely, which revealed the massive windows gazing out over the grand city of Archades. --- [ Kefka ; Xehanort's Heartless : Ivalice : Pharos Lighthouse Ascension ]"What in the blazes is going on up here?!"The outraged snarl made its origin known within seconds as Kefka appeared as if from thin air, glaring around at the new visitors and Xehanort before taking in the view of Ajora. "Oh?" he said, and with a metaphorical whiplash, his attitude did a complete one-eighty from fury to delighted curiosity. "Did the little twerp finally bite off more than he could chew? How exciting!"[[ Click here for a visual of the energy explosion, up until 3:44. Don't watch too far if you don't want XII spoilers. And no, this isn't everything. [Ultimecia :: Ultimecia's Castle :: Courtyard]
The time sorceress glided through silk curtains out into the courtyard and for a brief moment, Ultimecia paused and closed her golden eyes. She made the motion to bring up a hand to her head but stopped herself short. The space around the witch shuddered abruptly before she once again continued down the stone pathway.

"I wouldn't necessarily say lost," Kyle said, chuckling and waving the question away with his hand. "just wandering without a clue where I am.... Alright, that does sound a bit like being lost." He finished lamely, rubbing his head and smiling. Thank god for Zidane. Everybody else always seemed so uptight and stiff. There was no way he could have this conversation with Leon or Cloud, much less imagine them saying to word, hiya. Just the image of them saying that in their usual tones made him smile.

[ Grand Councilwoman ; Cid of the Al-Bhed ; Regent Cid ; Zordon ; Sora ; Riku ; Kyle : Hawaii : Bridge ]
"The King knew the siege to be inevitable," Cid the Regent spoke, lowering his head solemnly. "The forces of Darkness have been gathering and reinforcing themselves since the world's combination just over a month ago. While many worlds may still stand safe for now, others have already fallen either to dominion..."
"Or destruction," the Grand Councilwoman finished the sentiment, nodding gravely.
"Yeah. This was practically just a scouting fleet, and you saw how little they cared about the people on the island," the Al-Bhed said, crossing his arms and looking outraged. "They just want power and control, they don't care how."
"So you'll be evacuating the entire island, then? Including the people of Angel Grove?" Riku asked, looking to the group.
"Yessir. The Fahrenheit can handle quite a bit on its own, but after seeing the layout of this baby," Cid of the Al-Bhed answered, rubbing his chin. "We'll be able to get everyone safe and sound off this ticking time bomb."
"That's good to hear," he said, nodding before looking to the Grand Councilwoman. "Something else... as you probably know, we've been searching for King Mickey. Do you have any idea where he may have gone from here?"
"I'm afraid he made no mention of a specific world," she said, frowning-- not out of frustration, but out of sympathy. "The last thing he said was he planned to investigate the origin of the pirates... and then flew in the same direction that Ivalicians came from."
"You don't think he would have actually...," Kyle began, an urgent look immediately coming over him before he sighed, his shoulders dropping considerably. "He's Mickey. Of course he would."
"We've already sent a scouting party in that direction," Regent Cid spoke up, giving a light reassuring smile. "We should have word by tomorrow afternoon at the latest if he did, in fact, head in that direction."

[ Sephiroth : Land of Dragons : Village ]
The village was still burning. Kefka was gone; he hadn't bothered to finish his destruction, but the flames were spreading from building to building and would soon finish the task on their own. The flames were the backdrop. A burning village... all too familiar. He thought of Cloud then, passing the image along.
And then–
Sephiroth didn't flinch, didn't move. He continued to watch the flames.

[ ??? : Flying Dutchman ]John from Cleveland did not immediately follow. The Amy Replica felt disappointed. Granted, John's replica, whatever he chose to call himself, was someone she felt a strong desire to shoot between the eyes. It was odd. Normal Amy was attached to him, and though she was the immoral version of that normal self... she remembered.
What made us friends in the long ago? The best in me, and the best in you, hailed each other, because they knew... It was the beginning of a verse she had memorized. It was written on a coffee mug back home. The best... Without that? Just a guy. A stupid testosterone driven male.And you? What are you without your best? The Not-Amy ignored the question. Fittingly, there was a question mark in front of her, the hovering symbol made from sand. She nearly face-palmed when she realized a very annoying fact. Busy in her own thoughts, she had entirely missed his question, although she realized that he had asked one.
"You're Kyle's replica," she observed. "I didn't catch your name."

{Valmar : Flying Dutchman}
Instantly following the question mark, the sand shaped itself into a heart, then proceeded to shatter before floating around him as a dust cloud again. Only the sand had changed, Valmar maintaining the same posture and smile, understanding very well why she didn't know his name. It wasn't a hard thing to figure out. She came after him in the uncrowning process.
"My heart, you've broken it. Well, I say broken." He said with a shrug, toying with the sand again, attempting to spell his name with it before realizing he didn't quite have enough of it to make it work. Only off by two letters. With a sigh, it went back to that same floating cloud. "My name is Valmar. And have you determined yours yet? I mean, I could come up with creative names to apply to you, but it would be so much easier if you gave me something to work with."
