@ Styk: I think last year I signed up for Anatomy and Physiology as an elective class because I thought it was cool. At the school registration I found out they skin and dissect cats every year. I dropped the class like a ******** and took up Lab Aide (aka Science Teacher's Lackey) for the year instead.
@ Nariana: Hm. I wonder how I should dissect that last commentary on minions. Suggestions? :3

When I was in HS they wanted us to dissect a fetal pig. Lucky for me there was a other assignment available to do instead. My lab partner and I were the only people to take the other assignment.
Styk- I couldn't dissect a cat either... I would've taken the F as well.

@ Jay and KD: I really couldn't do it- I mean, it felt too much like I would be cutting one of my own cats open, and I really couldn't do that. I mean, if it would've been a dead human on the table then I wouldn't have cared too much.

Dissecting stuff is kinda cool. I had to do a fetal pig and sure it was a little gross, but the education was amazing. I learned more from that then a textbook could ever give me. As for human bodies...the real reason they don't give you human bodies is because they're really expensive and unless your a school that is training future nurses and doctors, they're not going to give you one. When people decide to sell they're own body when they die, have the price go up so high that school teachers would faint and the Counsel that handles your school would probably end having heart attacks and ending up on the table themselves. As person can make a good 10 mil. off small stuff like tissue from the nose...so yeah, it has nothing to do with respecting them and more to do with cost. Well maybe it depends on how high they're morals are and how deep they're wallets. Have you ever heard of the Grave diggers... that is not they're actually name, they had a special different name. There is a character in the Tale of Two Cities who digs up dead bodies for a living and then sells them to doctors who were investigation the human body. He wasn't paid much, since he was a grunt man, but still it is interesting to see that the desire to dissect the human body isn't something new, but goes back the time of Roman and beyond. In the Middle East, were most of our modern medical processes and concepts come from, they considered it an honor for quite some time to give your body to the local healer. Since they figured the body would be put to good use helping the people. Which is what selling the body really comes down to, how will it be used? And by whom? Okay...I'll stop being a geek now...

@ all dissection: >.o Ewwww...This is what I read for my 5-minute break?! Come onnnn.... Past the early-morning grogginess, some of it's kinda interesting. 'Specially the fact that you guys can't skin cats.
I just may die after this morning.....

Come on Nari, you don't want your tome stone to read "Killed by History Test". That is almost as said as has one that says, "Killed in a tragic, freak accruing, bass fishing accident". Plus you'll miss out on verbally slapping Sabe. That is what makes life sweet. Live to torture and destroy his dreams!
Okay, seriously. The whole Sabe thing is only part of the reason you should fight the history test daze. You should also do it cause I don't think they have chocolate in Haven. Its just too sinful to be good... Have I convinced you to stay with us?
Oh, Styk I'm sorry to hear about the hail. I know it would suck if that happened here. Though there is this disgusting Modern square building right across from my lovely library that could do with some more bad luck. I hate that building with a passion!
