"And now you're ready to face a bigger challenge. Try using your wind and cape to fly to that branch" he pointed to the one bellow Lenore's

Deimos smirked. Piece of cake. He spread open his cape and felt the wind lift him up. He urged it forward, but this was a bit harder than expected. He shuffled forward slightly, before the wind gave way and he lost altitude. He landed on his feet, grumbling. "It didn't work." He stated simply.

"Because you have to trap the wind with your cape, otherwise it won't carry you" Jabir replied "You could just lift yourself up vertically, it would be easier but a lot slower" he used a leaf to exemplify. It floated higher and higher as if it was carried by a hot air bubble "But using just the foward part of your cape is a lot trickier" the leaf suddently filled like a ship's sail and zoomed around "but it's defenatly worth the effort"

Taking a bit of a break to rest her arms, Lenore watched Deimos avidly from her perch on the branch.
"C'mon, Dei! You can make it!"
Sheesh, I sound like a dweeb - of course he can make it, he's....well, he's the captain. Captains can do stuff like this easy.

Deimos felt himself spurred forth by Lenore's cheers. Yah, he could do it. He opened his cloak once more, filling it with air. If Len though he could, he could. He smirked wide as he was lifted up, and, willed the air forward. He moved forward, slowly, but steadily.

"If this wasn't an enclosed space you'd have been tossed by now" Jabir stated, but decided not to aid him. "Let him realize the difference afterwards" he thought

Deimos kept fluttering forth, pushing himself forth in small bursts. The wind would flutter and he'd lose altitude, but he'd compensatate with a large gust under him.
It took him a while. A long while, but his clawed hands soon gripped the branch and he scambled onto it, panting slightly. "Th." Pant Pant.. 'There."

Lenore clapped and laughed at Dei's success.
"Al-RIGHT! When we go to school, we'll rule the freakin' playground in no time!" she said happily, peering down at Dei from her perch. Spreading her arms wide and launching herself off the bough, she landed with forced grace on the ground.
"Gettin' better by the minute," she said to herself in satisfaction.

"Not unless you carry Deimos around with your claws. By the looks of it he'd die trying to catch up to you" Jabir smirked
"Okay, try to land near Lenore and then you both fly back to the branch. You two need to learn a couple of tricks to improve your flight"

Deimos bristled at Jabir's word. He wouldn't die. He'd get this, and he'd do it soon. Spreading his cloak wide, he leapt, the air filling it like a parachute and he glided down from the branch, running a bit before he landed, forcing himself not to stumble. He stood a while, catching his rbeath. "I'm ready..."

Flapping her arms with slow, controlled movements, Lenore got herself airborne and flew back up to the branch. Smirking at her success, she gave Deimos a thumbs-up.
"You're doing great, Dei." she said pointedly, giving Jabir an askance look. No need to be insulting, no matter how subtle the insult had been.

"Very good Lenore, you're getting better. Your turn Deimos"
Jabir ignored Len's glance. If Deimos wanted to fly he'd have to do better than that
He waited until the demon Mishap was halfway there before doing a little trick

Deimos nodded at Lenore. Course he was doing great. He was a Captain, he could do this with his eyes closed.. Taking a deep breath he reopened his cloak.
Shooting a glare at Jabir, he let air fill it. He could do this. He'd show him. He lifted from the ground, higher, higher, higher than the branch. Then he cut off the air magic, holding only what he'd trapped in his cloak and he glided smoothly down.
Sure, he missed the branch by a smidge and had to reach out a hand to grab onto it, but it'd looked very nice while he was doing it.

Jabir was amused at Deimos display. He was sure giving his best, but not in the way he was expected to
"I believe I asked you to fly, not to glide. It should look something like this" he conjured a strong gust of wind right below the boy, filling his cape and pushing him up towards the tree top

Deimos was caught off guard. He kept rising and rising. He gulped, letting go of his cloak and clinging, yes, clinging to the top of the tree. He looked down and shuddered slighty. THis.. this was very high up. "Ok, Jabir, I think I get it!" Please don't do that again..
