"It's cool." Stephanie said, waving her hand in dismisal. "Margy probably just thought you were being harsh or something when you said that you were suprised I didn't notice what that rumbling noise was earlier." She scratched her head a little, more than likley confusing Soul to no wits end, but then tapped her foot slightly on the ground. "I'm not used to recognizing stuff yet since this is all kinda new, but it's alright. Just go back to sleep, you may be less confused once you wake up." With that Stephanie gave a slight headbow before starting back toward her tree.

"Not on inssult?" Margy asked curiously as she stared down from the branch curiously. She blinked a bit more, before grinning.
"Stephanie-chan have good hear--sound just sneaky." she said as she waved her finger around, most likely trying to make her friend feel better or at least laugh.
Staring up at the sky for a bit longer, she began to look around once again, making sure to keep her balance this time.
"And Soul-kun got punted because pinecones like Soul-kun!" She laughed a bit, before sticking her tongue out and laughing a bit more. Turning her attention back towards the tree she was in, she began to look around, before blinking as a weird growling sound could be heard. The sound was long and deep, almost like an animal's growl would have been, but Margy didn't seem worried.
"......be quiet tummy..." she said, poking it a second later, as if she expected her growling stomach to shut up on command.

Stephanie's eye shot backwards and she stopped in her tracks. The growling sound echoed in her new ear, and she found herself terrified of some real threat that may have been sneaking up behind her. Once Margy had told her stomache to shut it, Stephanie gave a long exhale. With a chuckle, Stephanie turned to Margy and whispered with her hands cupped again,"Hey Margy, you want me to sniff out some food? I'm kinda getting hungry too." Though Stephanie's stomache hadn't verbalized it's hunger, it usually didn't unless it was totally empty. Either that or she'd have a horrible headache.

Margy blinked, before leaning over the branch and staring down at her dog friend when she heard what he said. A second later, she gave a bit of a grin and began to nod her head up and down quickly.
"Yes yes!" she called out. "Yes please Stephanie-chan!" she called down from the branch.
"Margy's tummy is very grumpy!" she said with a grin, before poking at her stomach, which let out a another loud growl. This one was a bit soft, but was still quite long.

Stephanie smiled and nodded, happy that she could be useful to her friends with her new abilities. "Ok, I'll be back in a little while. Sound off if you notice any danger alright?" With that, Stephanie went off on into the thick of the trees and bushes, trying to find fruit or some sort of something. While in mid run, she seemed to notice that she automatically went on all fours down the path. It was a little odd getting used to...but it was alot faster than her usual biped running -or lack there of.

Suddenly, a scent seemed to make it's way to her nose. Insictivley she stopped, sniffed up into the air, found it's direction, and followed. Going past bushes, underbrush, and a mass of trees, she seemed to try and form in her mind what her target may be. Citricy...a small sting in the back of the nose...probably ment it was tart...and-

Hachuu!

Stephanie flopped onto her backside from the impact of the sneeze, rubbing her nose groggily. "Meh, probably oranges." She said with a sniffle. She was just about to get up and start running once again, when her scent was suddenly gone. "Eh?" She grunted, sniffling again. She tried and tried to sniff into the air, but her clogged nose made it impossible. "Well great..." She mumbled, standing up and straightening up her back. "Looks like I gotta go by sight now...."

It was a while of annoying search before Stephanie found the scent again, only it wasn't the scent, but her constant sneezing from whatever blosom the plant had held before. Fortunatley after that, Stephanie managed to find a small orchard of trees, each with different kinds of fruit. Some she recognized, oranges, lemons, grapefruit, but the rest were very oddly bright colors and shapes. There were circular fruit, green square ones, and ones that were an aquamarine shaped like a water dropplet. It wasn't until she looked at the Chao fruit before she remembered what they were used for, since they were so much smaller than in the games. But at the same time so was she....which proved to be a problem when it came to fruit retreval.

At first Stephanie attempted to climb up the tree trunks, but it proved to be a little too tough for the would-be puppy. Deciding to try and use her canine roots, she put some distance between her and the tree, went on fours, bolted as fast as she could, managed to run up the tree, and just as she reached for the branch.....she held on, tried to grab one, then she fell. Pissed off, hungry, and sneezing continually, Stephanie grabbed hold of the tree's base and shook it as hard as she could, thrashing out all of her anger on the poor trunk. Suddenly, she heard a noise behind her. When she turned around, she noticed a fruit had fallen off, and then gave a big smile.

Stephanie trotted happily down the path she had taken earlier, holding out the bottom of her shirt where she had placed a large amount of assorted fruits. "This should be enough for all three of us." She thought aloud with a smile. Fortunatley her sense of smell had come back, so all she did was follow the smell of Margy and Soul back down to the area they had slept. When she got back It was a tad brighter, it may have been an hour or so since she left... Augh...poor Margy must be dying." Stephanie thought guiltily. She knew she probably could have gotten it quicker if she had tried harder.... Non the less she continued towards her friends, fruit in plain sight, and gave a smile. "Breakfast!" She said happily.

The sound of Margy's stomach growling could be heard echoing through the forest as the hungry hamster laid on the branch she was sitting on earlier. Sitting up, she jabbed at the stomach with her finger and growled a bit.
"Quiet you!" she said. "Stephanie-chan will be back with food--no be grumpy!!" She gave a nod after speaking and laid back down again--only to have her stomach growl a second later. It didn't seem like it was going to listen to her, no matter how many times she ordered it to be quiet.
A second later, Margy's sensitive round ears picked up the sound of Stephanie's voice as she returned, sitting up quickly, she stared down at her friend, before grinning widely as she saw the large amount of fruit that her canine friend was tucked in the bottom of her shirt--which she was using like a basket.
"FOODORZ!!!!!!" Margy squealed out at top of her lungs, before suddenly launching herself from the branch. She giggled happily, as she flew towards her friend, slamming into her a second later and sending the both of them tumbling. The moment that Margy slammed into her, the fruit went flying, some of it bouncing off of the sleeping Soul's head, the rest scattering around the ground, as the two tumbling animals finally came to a stop.
"SUPER DUPER MARGY ATTACK NUMBA 33!! FLYING TREE TACKLE!!" she squealed out, before flopping over and laughing like a nut.

Stephanie dragged herself to a sitting up position, groaning in the pain of the little hammy attacking her. She wasn't used to all this physical stuff and was about to react very badly, but as the key took affect and Margy started laughing, Stephanie was only able to let out a small exhale. It was almost impossible to be angry at that little fuzzball. Deciding to get herself up and brush off some leaves, Stephanie went over towards the fruit and said, "Well, guess it's eat what you find. Hopefully Soul won't be too mad that we inturupted his sleep..." Suprisingly, when Stephanie turned towards their hedgehog friend he was still asleep. Or at least it seemed he was....
"Dang. He must be having some serious dream there..."

Margy--who got to her feet--walked over and picked a few fruit off of the ground. Staring at them, she blinked for a moment, then gave a wide grin.
"hwey stephwnie-whan!" the sound of Margy's voice could be heard, but it sounded like she had her mouth full--which she did. Margy had taken a few of the oranges and stuffed them into her hamster cheeks, so now her cheeks looked like large balloons.
"Lwooki wut marwy wan doo!" she said, as she grinned a bit, before pushing one of the two fruit out of her mouth with her tongue, before doing the same with the other one. Wiping them off, she grinned and began to chew at the fruit's tough outside skin with her rodent teeth--until she managed to chew it open. Grinning a bit, she peeled away the rest of the skin and began to happily eat one of the two fruit she had.

Stephanie began laughing as Margy began to much about the food in her mouth from cheek, to chewing one, and then eating another. The aspect of spit being on them made one ear droop slightly, but she just shook her head with a smile and then bent down to get her own fruit. Two or three would more than suffice so Stephy's stomache, so she grabbed an orange, a square fruit, and a Chao fruit and flopped herself onto the floor.

At first she was a little skeptical of which to eat first, but she decided the square one looked cool so she tried it first. Suprisingly, it's crispness reminded her alot of an apple, but with a little tartness that reminded her of green grapes. After enjoying that, she started on the Chao fruit, which wasn't as plesant in the first bite as the square. The skin was rubbery, and the only thing she tasted at first mush. Taking her mouth out in discust and shaking her face slightly, she took her nailed claw and dug a small circle into the skin. When she began to pull out the portion of the fruit, she heard an odd ripping sound. A bit confused she pulled out the peice and found that behind the mushy under layer there was a tangle of thick, stubby roots. "Meh, what the heck" she thought, yanking out one and popping it into her mouth. Oddly enough, instead of tasting like actual roots, they tasted like an odd crunchy potatoe, but sweet.

After all of those new tastes, she wasn't really interested in the orange anymore.

Munch munch munch munch... Soul thought as he nibbeled on the the nearby fruit. The girls somehow didn't notice his awakening when some items bounced on his head, so he feigned sleep until the scent got to him and he started to much on a round fruit nearby.

After licking her fingers of whatever juice that was left from the fruit, Stephanie looked at the shells of fruit peels with a look of bafflement. She really didn't know where to put them, since there wasn't any kind of trash can anywhere. With a shrug, she simply tossed the peels behind her and then wipped her hands slightly.

One ear perked up slightly, the sound of smooshes and crunches coming from far away. Turning her head, she saw Soul happily eating at some fruit and gave a smile. "Oh, look who's awake after all. Sorry the bambardment of fruit woke you up there."

"I'll tell you one thing." Soul muttered as he lay still. He obviously did not feel like moving, and he was in no way refreshed, "It didn't help my monster headache. Me need sleep...." He muttered. Right now he really wished for a pillow of some sort, to cover his head so he can be rescued from any more bombardments. Although, he felt his rest could never be safe with Margy around.

"Oh, poor Soul." Stephanie said, feeling a bit guilty that she hadn't tried to stop the impending Margy-doom. "Eh...as far as a pillow I can't offer anything..." At first Stephanie remembered that her hat was soft and might be something he could rest his head on, but his spines would probably turn it into swiss cheese. "But I may be able to help with the headache!" Stephanie trotted over to Soul and crouched down, her key glowing in anticipation. "Sorry, you may find this random." Without another word, Stephanie poked Soul right in the forehead with her index finger and pressed down slightly. As her hand and finger glowed slightly also, Stephanie asked, "Better?"
PostPosted: Wed Mar 26, 2008 8:54 pm

"It's a bit better, side from the fact that I feel like I was poked after being repeatedly pelted by fruit and other Margy related mishaps. I don't think the key heals sleep deprivation. I'm about as..." He yawned hugely, showing off his slight fangs and closing his eyes. "I don't need a pillow... just sleep... at least before the sun comes up and it becomes impossible to fall back to dreamland..." He muttered, his head falling to one side.

Stephanie swiftly drew back her finger, a nervous and embaraced smile on her face. "Oops, sorry." She hobbled back a few steps (or hops in her crouched state) as Soul began to ramble once again that he needed sleep, and then nodded. Without another word, Soul flopped back to one side, and Stephanie gave a small sigh before standing up and walking over to Margy. "Well, that coulda gone better... Oh well, I tried." She crossed her hands behind her head as she walked, doing a bit of a goose step, just not as high. At least she was able to help a little...

After going back and sitting with Margy, Stephanie stretched slightly and turned toward the oddly silent hamster. "So, Margy's stomache not so grumpy anymore?" She asked, a bit amused that she was reffering to Margy in the third person.
