Hello, guess I'm the newest member and as you will soon find out a bit. My fav sorts of metal are
Glam
Power
Thrash
and getting into a lil Black
Yes I am openly a glam metal fan. If you don't believe me I have pictures. I know glam metal is questionably metal or non metal but some from that era are accepted into the metal masters collection so I will not argue the point. Right now I am heavily into glam metal though I do have some thrash metal. Only have one Black metal band but I hope my time here will introduce me to new metal bands and such. Right now some of my favorite metal bands are as follows.

Helloween
Nocturnal Rites
Queensryche
W.A.S.P.

How`s it goin? I`m the_game hhh and i play guitar and bass and i like to sing metal. i have a B.C. rich warlock guitar, and a bass both platium edition. Im mostly into metal bands from the 80`s like Judas Priest, Twisted Sister, White Zombie, and Metallica but i like a lot more than those bands and i HATE rap, hip-hop, nad hyphie cause they suck.

Yo, my names Jhovanny. My main metal subgenre is Black Metal, I am the Black Wizards by Emperor is an effin masterpiece. I also get into just abut any other kind of metal, except Brutal Death for some reason. My favorite band is Dissection, amazing compositions and sinister vocals and lyrics. It's good that you can make yourself look Metal in reality. Although I must say that my colleague at work here said that I "...stopped dressing black when I stopped listening to metal...". How wrong he is. Manowar playing in the background, Manowar, Kill'em All, Within Temptation, Gamma Ray and Acid Drinkers in my car CD changer, and metal from where you just can't erase it - which is heart. Ah yes, I'm wearing blue today, but who cares? wink . And yes, this was the introduction of a new Guild member. Better later than never wink .

Hey there, fans of metal!
I'd like to introduce myself as an avid metalhead (been so since 2001), and I've been playing guitar for about three-and-a-half years now. I've been in my band Galvanite ever since we named it a little more than a year ago and we're finally getting our original stuff together so that in a few weeks we may have a better insight into whether we can make it work.
I'm currently enrolled in CSU Stanislaus - this semester (first of sophomore year) I'm finally a part of the music department as a composition major. The main reason for doing this, as one might assume (maybe <("."<), is to better myself in terms of song construction and composition in the pursuit of more efficient and focused songwriting. Not only for me, but for my band-mates as well - they benefit from this as well. I just want this to work out for us... v.v
Any-who...that's me in a nutshell (a metal one, that is)

Hey, I'm Thræsh... I pretty much kickass and am very happy to belong to this guild biggrin I've been into metal since I was born, but I also love a lot of classic rock. My first metal love was/is Metallica. Then progressively I slipped into Thrash Metal, followed by some NWBHM stuff. Now I'm really big into unique Death/Black Metal. My favorite bands are as follows:

I'm known as Luke and I'd appreciate it if you'd use that name or sir here. I started liking classic rock and stuff a couple of years ago and just evolving from there. Now I like a mix of intelligent punk and metal. I'm interested in anything where you have to think to get it. Bands like Black Flag, the Dead Kennedys, Type O Negative, Electric Wizard, The Melvins, Tool, Slayer, Megadeth, Dimmu Borgir, Mastodon, Machine Head, Cannibal Corpse, Ministry, Nile, Job For a Cowboy, Marduk, Coheed and Cambria and early Metallica. I'm also into off the wall, party metal and ska punk, stuff that you can mosh to, stuff like Mercyful Fate, The Aquabats, Reel Big Fish, Municipal Waste, Machine Head and Lawnmower Deth.

Eh, I am not really new (Technically I have been a member for like a year and a half or two years or something?). Just wanted to let everyone know that I am comming back, wiser than I was by a long shot (wont be attempting another "Metal Recommendation Thread", haha), and am eager to get to know all of you again and contribute to the Guild.
