Zabuza thought and smirked, recalling the memory he sent the man to his death just by using the kunai between his teeth. The rest of that, however, was not good. He still had nightmares about it.

Haku gave a small frown. "I... don't remember when you fought Gatou..." he murmured softly. I was probably unconscious, then.... "However... He did seem pretty weak when I broke his arm..." A small shiver ran down his spine at the memory. He was furious... and then, Gatou dared try and touch Zabuza while he was healing-adding snide remarks and furthermore pissing the younger male off? It took everything to hold himself back from killing the man then and there.
Haku paused when they reached the room they'd been staying in. He stopped rubbing his pets' ears and opened the door, slowly moving inside and wandering over to the bed. He still wasn't feeling as well as he'd've liked, so he wound up sitting down while un-shouldering his bag. His pet was set free on the bed again, and then he got up again to head over and start up a fire to warm the room with.

After starting up a fire, Haku stood, paused, and then continued on. If you looked hard enough, you'dve noticed the shift in his breath, and the fact that his hands were slowly starting to clench up at his sides. He shifted his course a little, moving over to the chez and sitting down. Looking to Zabuza, he gave a small nod to the bed. "Zabuza-san... if you do rest, you should take the bed." Somehow... I don't feel I can stand, anymore... He'd been feeling better, but now the pain was starting to come back. Each beat of his heart was like slamming a senbon directly into a nerve.
Haku swayed slightly where he sat, his eyes fluttering closed. A knock came at the door as he slumped sideways a bit, his teeth ground shut as his fingers clenched into the fabric of his top over his heart.
"I've brought some tea..." It was the healer-woman's voice.

Zabuza went over and opened the door to allow the women entrance. "Since you are here, I'd like for you to heal Haku. He is in pain again." The Momochi looked over at Haku, his stiff posture and hand clutching his shirt gave him away. "If you have something that will knock him out for a few hours so he can sleep, that would be better."

The woman's posture stiffened slightly as she entered. She quickly moved in, a tray in her hands. A teapot, two cups, and.. a small vial was on it, and she frowned a little as she poured a cup of tea and added in the contents of the vial. "I told you he shouldn't have been up so early..." she murmured, moving over to Haku's side as the teen flicked his eyes over to her with a slight glare in them.
"If he does anything to increase his heart rate, anytime within the next week, he could tear the muscle around it more..." she forced the cup to Haku's lips after cooling it off a bit. The male resisted, and then the woman gave a slightly-satisfied grunt as he started to drink.
Haku finished the cup of tea, his eyes already starting to droop. Things were going fuzzy, as if he were drunk, and then, after a few moments of fighting sleep, he slumped over, giving Zabuza a pained look. I... hate... this... the small male thought before surrendering to unconsciousness.

That's going to complicate things, but I'll have no choice or he'll die. Zabuza thought and gave the woman a nod. He went over and made Haku more comfortable, then turned to the healer. "When we leave, I'd like to take some more of that with me until we get back to our base. I know you hate us, but I know you wouldn't just let someone die."
Nasake paced his study, looking out the windows at all the snow as he passed them, and gave a shake of his head. "If this snow doesn't let up by tomorrow, we may have to put off the festival. It wouldn't be good if people got hurt or stranded." The girls have been looking forward to it for months too. They'll be so disappointed. He looked to the two women who sat beside the fireplace and wondered what he was going to do. It's only been a little more than a day and I've already grown fond of him. Are you really who you say you are, Hakuhyou?

The woman stiffened a little, and nodded. She looked back to Haku, watching him sleep. "He's kind... despite what i'm sure his record is like. The girls like him." she murmured. "I will have a few vials ready for you when you leave." she stood entirely back up again, gave Zabuza a curt bow, and headed out.
Haku shifted a little in his sleep, but otherwise remained still. Every-so-often, he would let off a small noise, but his eyelids were flickering, signifying that he was dreaming.
A light tap came on the door a bit after the healer woman left. The twins made sure they weren't seen, though they didn't know they were being followed. They wanted to see Haku, and it seemed like nothing was going to stop them...

Who is it now? Zabuza thought as he went over and opened the door only to find the girls staring up at him. "You two don't listen to your father very well, do you?" Not that I care, he thought as he stepped to the side to allow them entrance. "He's sleeping right now so you'll have to be quite if you're going to stay."

The twins looked up to Zabuza with wide eyes for a moment, before nodding and making a motion as if to zip their mouths shut. Quietly, they padded in and wandered over to Haku to watch him sleep for a bit. They both reached out after a little and messed with the teen's hair for a moment, before bobbing around the room. One stole a pillow, while the other grabbed a blanket. They looked to be on a mission as they made Haku even more comfortable. They jumped and went and hid behind Zabuza, though, as Haku shifted his head and gave off a few more noises.

Zabuzas 'brows' went up as he looked down at the girls hiding behind him. I thought they were afraid of me? "He won't be waking up for awhile, don't worry." he moved away from them, not liking how close they were to him. Haku...he'll be happy that they aren't afraid of him. He must be grateful that we don't have to go through with this, just have to kill Nasakes brother. At the thought of their previous employer, Zabuzas eyes narrowed and he clenched his fist.

The girls blinked from where they stood. After a few moments, they went back to what they were doing, now that they knew Haku wouldn't wake up. They put his head on a pillow, and tucked him in a blanket, making sure he was comfortable. They then went and sat on the bed to watch him sleep and comfort his pet.

Their father must not have told them about Haku and myself, or at least about him. Zabuza thought as he watched the girls watching Haku. Either that or they fearless, though I doubt it. He went over and sat down in the chair and stretched his legs out. "When he wakes up later, he should be feeling better."

The girls jumped a little as Zabuza sat down, then nodded to him. The only reason they'd hidden behind Zabuza when Haku shifted, was that Lord Nasake had told them that Haku was the most dangerous of the two... of course, that didn't deter them, and though they didn't know it, those words were just to try and keep them away from him.
"What's wrong with him?" Shinta asked quietly. Both the twins looked over to Zabuza for the answer.

He studied the girls for a moment, wondering how much they'd understand. "Someone tried to kill him and almost succeeded. He still haven't fully healed and if he doesn't take things easy, the pain starts back up and he usually blacks out from it."

"Who would want to kill him?" Aiime asked, sliding off the bed to go and have a closer look at Haku, again.
"He's so nice to us..." Shinta murmured, following her sister. They, once again, glanced over to Zabuza before returning their gaze to the teen male. The two of them jumped slightly as Haku shifted once again, but remained by his side as he remained asleep.
