Not at all liking where this is going, Kasumi pulled a replacement jutsu, leaving her clone in the small vortex while remaining hidden elsewhere.
That's right... she thought herself as she watched him carefully. He hasn't gone on offense yet.... What on earth could he be doing?

Poking her head out from behind the two fingers of the large statue in the arena, she glanced down at the pouches.
So hiding isnt going to be an option... should've known......

Poofing from her hiding spot, Kasumi landed in front Ikotsu, grabbing his hands and held them above his head.
"Give them a show they won't forget..." she said in a whisper as she pulled down her mask and pressed her lips firmly against his.
Bringing one of her hands down, she slipped it behind his neck, and ran her fingers over it, looking for his pulse.
Got it....

Watching as the clone in front of her poofed into clouds, she struggled against the grip of the soot clones.
Didn't see that one coming... she thought ruefully to herself, knowing her cousin was probably rolling in his grave over her stupidity.
Making a sign with a single hand, ice shot up from the ground, spearing through the soot clones, releasing her.
This isn't going to get us anywhere... We're too evenly matched.... but there's no way I'm going to give up now... Claw's depending on me....
She thought as she glanced up to where her partner was watching their fight, probably laughing at her too.
With a glance over her shoulder, she saw Ikotsu (hopefully the real one) making seals for a jutsu...
It was obvious a direct attack wasn't going to work, and a hidden attack was too well expected... What was left then?
She smirked when she came to the answer.
"The unexpected then....." she mumbled with a smirk as she ran through seals faster then the human eye could track, and then vanished into thin air.

"Not there..." her voice rang out, and she knew that it'd only be a matter of time before he realised what had happened, but for now....

"What do you fear most?" her voice sang as it echoed throughout out the arena that was growing darker and darker. Then, a single light shone down on him from an unknown source, illuminating the ground beneath his feet, revealing decaying bodies, their faces marred beyond recognition.

From outide the Genjutsu, Katsumi sat crosslegged on top of the statue, concentrating on her Frozen Fear Jutsu ((cheesy name I know.. but work with me)) No one she knew had ever been able to brake it, but she wanted this over quickly, knowing this would only make him knock himself out, rather then kill him. But she knew that if their encounters continued to be like this... she might have to eventually. Pushing the thought aside, she continued with the genjutsu, wondering just how much his mind could take. No taijutsu or ninjutsu would be able to break her hold on his mind, and she wasn't entirely sure he had what it would take to break through her complicated barriers she had put up in his mind.
((Ok, so you're probably wonderig what the deal had been with makin it all cold and stuff... There wasn't any really, it was just helping her to take Ikotsu's mind off of what she had been planning the whole time))

Kasumi smirked, "I'm in your mind Ikotsu... anything you see or do here, stays here....."
The bodies started to get up one at a time, their faces, that had once been unrecognizable, now showed the faces of anyone who had been precious to him, and they grabbed for his legs and throat.
((Hey.. this reminds me of Night of the living Dead.... hmm....))

This technique was one that she and Claw had come up with themselves back when they had first become partners. And this wasn't the first time she's had to use it either... and she hoped it woudln't be the last. There are only two things she knew of that could break it, The Gen Reversal, which was developed by Claw, and the Mangekyo Sharingan, which was a top level of the Uchiha Clan's Sharingan.
It was the technique she had hoped to use on Kakashi Hatake should she ever find him. For some reason, he wasn't present at the Chunin Exams, which greatly disturbed her.. or did he know she was there? Either way, he wasn't there, and she was no closer to completling her goal then she had been when they first go there.
