Zafire's mind was tired. This had been a very long day: dragons, Valtor, a weddings, proposals, somobody getting near to death...She, as an Enigman girl, was not used to that much action. Still, she wanted to go see the rest of the wedding.

Akane could sense evil nearby. She prayed it did not interfere with the party.

Kai sensed it too then he nodded to Musa to play the dancing music. Whispering to Akane, Kai said, "There is evil here, but do not let it stop you from having fun. We can pretend to be totally off guard. Do not let the enemy know that we know that they're there."

Musa began to play. She sang her dad's song "Magic in my heart". Akane nodded to Kai.

Dee loved this song. She used to play it over and over before because it was just that good. She danced with Terry and held him close. Terry looked into her eyes and kissed her.

Kai then began to dance with Akane, going completely with the rythum of the song, using his art of dance, what he learned at Star Academy when it came to dancing to dance the best dance ever danced at this party.
Kai did look dashing in his Sapphire studded tuxedo. They were real saphhires too glistening all over Kai's suit.

Kai replied in whisper, "Thank you. My teacher was empress dee when it came to dancing."
He felt elated, happy, for once in his life, the void in Kai's heart was gone. It shone like a brilliant diamond. Kai even began to glow a bright blue as the magic around him was just radiating like a microwave.

Zafire joined Musa singing. She had changed to a corset-lolita dress in black and blue. She was not aware of evil.
Meanwhile, Valtor was working on the plan. He gave Oliver the power of dead nature and fungi. He thought it could be useful. Oliver was going to help when Bloom and Dee where in the volcano, but he was not visible. He was hidding behind a courtain, and very well I must say.

Mizt and Sirius danced together too, looking deep into each other's eyes.
They were worried, because they felt the princesse's evil precence near. But she was so well disguised, they did not even notice her.

Contessa who could feel emotions felt the evil around them. She knew the evil would deguise themselves. She just wished that there wasn't so many people that she didn't know. She looked around at all the dancing couples then sat in the corner sighing. She had no one to dance with.

Oliver sat in the windowseal watching everything from behind the courtains. Zafire was still singing and it reminded him of his childhood, when Hailie, Zafire and him had a band. He looked at Contessa sitting alone, and he found himself in the same situation. He nearly laughed about himself, cursing his stupidity, now he had ruined every opportunity he had with Hailie.
Mizt suddenly stepped on Sirius' foot. "Sorry" she said, she was getting desperate, she could feel evil closer and closer, but she could not find it. She was very uncomfortable.

Contessa watched her friends have a good time. Tears came to her eyes then she wiped them away. This was a happy occasion and she would not ruin it with her tears.
