She grinned as she picked up the black backpack for the floor. "I passed my written test and now I just need to get through the field test and I'm a full SeeD member." Slinging the bag over her shoulder, Vikki smiles at Fallen. "To the Garden?"

Vikki pushed the door open and locked it from the inside. "The written one is not so bad, just as long as you know your Balamb stuff. I wish I could get move on with my field exam though. I'm so anxious to get in there and prove myself." She motioned for Fallen to start heading toward the Garden. "Just head toward the city gate. I'll be right behind you."

Vikki pulled the door shut behind her and watched as he stared at the sky. Maybe this will work out better than the last time I tried to help... She shifted the bag on her back and ran to catch up with Fallen.

Vikki kicked at a rock on the road. "Ya, Headmaster Kite. Though I don't know how receptive he is to visitors at the moment. The Garden was under attack some time ago and from what I've heard, the Headmaster suffered some injuries and hasn't recovered yet." She had almost forgotten about Kite. Silently, she wondered if he was ok. "You can meet him once he gets himself up and running again."

Vikki nodded as she walked. "I think I heard that it was Adel. I'm not sure though. For the most part I was just running around trying to figure out what was going on" She winced for a second as she remembered. "I actually ended up accidentally shooting Blank, one of our instructors."

Vikki laughed, "I talked to him later. I got him in the arm or something," She thought back to the time when she had met up with everyone in the infermary. "It's not much further to the Garden. And as long as we stick to the road, nothing will jump up at us."

Davrick strode across the starboard with inhuman grace, his skin far more pale than ever. His raven sat with satisfaction on the ledge of Kalo's ship, pleased with the human carcass it feasted upon, that its master was most gracious enough to provide.
The seer stood, akwardly, facing the horizon though seeing nothing through his bandaged eyes. A thin, almost demonic smirk played across his colourless lips. "Jacka...any human being can be destroyed...not only physically...but emotionally, and mentally as well. It is not in the best interest of our rule to simply kill our greatest enemies. No, they send them to me." He turned towards his pet raven, Jacka, his smile faded. "Humans can be altered...2+2=4? If I say it is 5, then my pupil will understand that 2+2=5. If I say that the Gardens never existed, they see it as true. People can learn to love what they once hated. They must be broken most utterly...but I have done so. Physical torture can not suffice, no, it must go much deeper than that."

A passing soldier gave him a sideways glance, quickly leaving the area before his stray thoughts insulted the Seer.

Davrick thumped his staff on the wooden deck, as if a signal for the raven, which flew onto his shoulder. Davrick gazed outwards at nothing, speaking once more. "He whom controls the past, controls the present and future. A hero can not have a mother or father...they are an imperfection of the hero's life. An embarassment, a reference to weakness, that must be wiped away from existance. You see, I have never had parents. I was born in the storm." His raven-black hair draped down over his bandaged eyes as he lowered his head in silent thought, only the ocean daring to disturb him on his ship.
