Kiba winced when the knife was pulled out and bit his lip at the amount of blood that was coming out of the wound. "I'll heal soon, when I sleep. Can you untie me so I can get off this table? It's killing my back"

"H-hang o-on." Hinata ripped her jacket sightly and tied it around Kiba's arm. She then started to work on the straps. "H-hang o-on, I-i'll b-be d-done i-in a s-second." She finished, ignoring Shikamaru's warning and wipped her eyes again. "T-there. H-how's t-that?"

As soon as the straps were off, Kiba jumped down off the table and to his feet. "Thanks, Hina-chan." he stretched out and gave a bit of a groan. "Hinata...did Shika really say that you could leave?" His voice was quiet and his eyes downcast.

Hinata nodded. "B-but I-i'll s-stay...I...I don't want you to be alone." She said slowly to stop herself from stutering. She reached out and took Kiba's hands with her own. "I don't want you to be alone anymore."

I wouldn't be alone... Kiba thought with a small frown. "Hinata, I would like being able to see you more, but if you think about it, there's only one way we could stay together. I won't even think about that option, but if you stay here as you are, I'm only going to see you get old and die. I can barely handle this life and if it wasn't for Shikamaru...I wouldn't be here." he gently pulled away from Hinata and tried walking towards the door but his legs gave out and he ended up on the floor. Dammit, I've lost a lot of blood.

Hinata rushed over to Kiba's side and kneeled down next to him. "K-kiba-kun? She said as she put an arm around him. "D-do you t-think you could w-walk if I h-helped you?" She asked quietly. Shikamaru-san says that...I'm the reason he acted like this...maybe...Kibakun wants me to leave to...But...I don't want to lose him again.

"Yeah, thanks." Kiba said then shook his head. "I haven't felt this helpless since I got whooped by your father." I could really hurt him now, though. I'm even stronger and faster than I was before. If everyone wasn't afraid of me, I'd make a great ninja. "I think I'll get a little rest to try and get back some energy." his eyes moved to the stairs where he could see Shikamru sitting.

Hinata winced, remembering that fight. She helped Kiba stand up and they slowly started walking. She she saw Shhikamaru her face flushed, just now remembering the warnning he had given her. She wondered what for though? Kiba was back to normal.

Kiba stopped walking when they reached the bottom of the stairs. "Hinata...I need to talk to Shikamaru for a bit. Thank you for helping me though." He wiggled out from under her arm and leaned against the wall for support.
Shikamaru gave a sigh and stood up. "Hinata, wait upstairs." he said in a firm voice as he headed down the stairs. When he was standing beside Kiba, he tilted the others face up to look in his eyes. There was no trace of what was there earlier and he gave a nod. "We'll be up in a little while, alright?" he said as he looked at the girl again.

Hinata looked at Kiba and sighed. She walked up the stairs and sat on the couch. She covered her face with her hands and cried slightly, trying her best to keep it muffled so the two vampires wouldn't hear her. She then tought it might be better to move into Kiba's room and she did, shutting the door lightly. She buried her face in one of the pillows and cried a litle harder. I don't want to leave Kiba-kun...I don't want to lose him again.

"Shika...why did this happen to me again?" Kiba looked at him with sad eyes that reflected the old pain in his heart. "I thought I got over everything. Dammit, I could have killed her, or worse!" he held up his hands and stared at them.
"If you really got over everything, your beast would not have awoken just from Hinata being around. It's not even her that's the problems, just the memories that she brings with her." Shikamaru went over to where Kiba stood and tilted his face up. "I told her she could go...but are you willing to let her go?"
"...Yes. If it means that she'll be safe from me and this place, then yes. But...I will bring her back safely to the village. She'd never make it on her own."
"No good would come of that, Kiba and you know it. The last time you went back, your own mother tried to kill you." Shikamaru kissed him hard. "I won't let them take you from me. I know that I will be unable to convince you not to go with her...so I'll go with you."
Kibas eyes widened. "Y-you...but you've never left this forest, you said you hate the humans."
"For some things, the pain is worth it. And you...are worth it." Shikamaru kissed him again.
"Heh, told you ya loved me." Kiba smirked against his lips and went to put his arms around the other male but he moved away.
"Tch, whatever. You can drag your own a** up the stairs." With a smirk of his own, Shikamaru turned on his heel and went up the stairs.
"b*****d!" Kiba yelled, then slowly made his way towards the stairs.

Hinata sniffed as she clutched the pilliow tightly to her chest. She closed her eyes and dried her tears on the pilliow, trying her best to make it look like she hadn't cried. She evened out her breath and tried to whipe away any traces of the tears left on her cheeks.

By the time Kiba made it to the top of the stairs, he was exhausted. "Damn you Shika." he muttered as he headed for the kitchen. After opening the small fridge, he cursed again. It was empty. And I'm in no condition to hunt. He slumped against the counter as what little bit of energy he had left him.
Shikamaru walked in and leaned against the doorway, crossing his arms over his chest. "You're that tired just from that small staircase? How pathetic." he walked over to Kiba and picked him up.
"If you're going to be an a**, you can just leave me the hell alone! It's your fault I'm like this." Kiba snapped and crossed his own arms over his chest.
"Actually, it's not." he carried Kiba into his room and dumped him on the bed. "I guess as your sire I should help you recover, hm?" Shikamaru traced the wounds he'd made, noticing that some were still bleeding. "Our sleep is still quite a few hours away so I better heal these before you die of blood loss." he leaned down and ran his tongue over a small cut across Kibas chest. After he pulled away, he watched as the wound closed up.
Kibas breath had caught at the feeling of Shikamarus tongue on him. "That's...not necessary." Because I know how this will end...with you walking away after you get me all crazy with need. "We do have bandages." he was panting a bit now as Shikamaru sucked a bit at another small wound.
"It's too troublesome to go look for them when I'm right here and this works better." he moved his head farther down and started dragging his tongue down the more serious wound, right down to Kibas pant line. He smirked when the Inuzuka let out a loud moan and felt fingers tangle into his hair. "Now there's only one thing left to do." he straddled Kiba on the bed, then brought a hand to his neck and cut it open. he leaned down again and moved so his neck was close to Kibas lips. "Take what you need from me. While you sleep, I'll go hunting."
Kiba was about to curse him but found himself automatically attaching his mouth to the wound on Shikamarus neck. His need for blood was too strong at that point to argue. He moaned again around the wound as his sires blood flowed into him. It felt like electricity was surging through his body, but it wasn't painful, quite the opposite. He didn't even hear Shikamaru chuckle as he moaned and writhed beneath him, too caught up in what was happening.
A minute later Shikamaru pulled away, then covered Kibas lips with his own. "Now rest and regain your energy. When you're feeling back to your normal self, we'll leave." he then got up off the bed and left his room, going across the hall to knock on Kibas bedroom door. "Hey girl...Hinata-chan, we'll be leaving soon, probably tomorrow. Rest up while you can."

"H-hai, Shikamaru-san." Hinata responded. When she was sure he was gone she closed her eyes and sat up. SHe knew she wouldn't be able to sleep very well but she could at least try to stay calm and relaxed throughout the night...err, whatever...
"Kiba-kun! Wait up!" A small girl ran after the little boy and his puppy. The two ten-year-olds were running through a feild of flowers. The boy and his dog stopped and waited as the pale skined dark haired girl caught up.
"If we don't hurry we'll miss the best training area. The older kids will get to it. Come on Hinata. We have to hurry." With that a tan hand reached over and pulled the pale Hyuuga onto his back and started running again. Over the tops of the trees on the other side of the feild you could see the sun raising for the day.
As Hinata went through different memories of the two she started to cry. I wo't want to lose Kiba-kun...I don't

A few hours later, Kiba had most of his energy back, though it never did take him long to heal. Even when he was left for dead and badly wounded, he'd healed in less than a week. With a groan, he got out of the bed and stretched, then headed out into the living room. I wonder where Shikamaru went off to? Oh...right, said he was going hunting. He gave a sigh and headed over to his room, then quietly opened the door and looked in. Hinata appeared to still be sleeping. Not wanting to disturb her, Kiba shut the door again. At least she'll be happy that she's going home. Her father's probably worried about her...then again, probably not. He gave another sigh, then began pacing the living room.
