The illusions that you speak of reside in the thoughts of people that are insane this place if you have seen what, I can offer you to see, I have seen you would understand that this place is an asylum made to keep the infectious thoughts contained the thoughts are the dangerous part some are so well crafted that they have reached a state of self-awareness. The entirety of this universe is a locked gate to keep them form spreading but they still manage to manifest here in the form of people hurting one another. This place is filthy with illusions that people create to make themselves feel safe because they are not sane enough to deal with it.

I have lived in this body for only a few decades but together we (terl and Farsite) have lived other lives in the blood music and in other places were time is more beautifully constructed. We know what it is to have immortality for in one since that is what we are. Its dangerous, so very attractive but so very corruptive.
