Chase nodded as he became reassured by Usagi's words. "Thank you, Odango," he whispered. He sighed as he returned the notebook back inside his bag. He then looked back at Usagi and smiled.

Usagi smiled back and realized her hand was still on Chase's shoulder. She slowly took her hand back and placed it on her lap. "Hey you're welcome Chase kun. I mean what are friends for?" she cheerfully and kindly replied still with her innocent smile on her face.

Chase found himself somewhat saddening since he could no longer feel Usagi's gentle touch. He sighed as he looked down at the ground once more. "If you say so," he laughed. He soon thought himself lucky for winning this girl's friendship. Of course his ego would never allow him to confess that outloud.

Usabi blinked....what was this guy with looking at the ground? "Chase kun why do you keep looking at the ground?....What are you waiting for me to have a klutz attack and fall down again?" she joked, trying to cheer up Chase from what ever it was that was bothering him....Usagi thought it had to be more than the reoccuring dreams that were bothering him.

Chase could not help but laugh at the blonde's comment. He looked over at her while he continued to laugh. "Yes that is true huh? I think you broke a record for going the longest without eating gravel." This had brought him out of his mood.

Usagi smiled warmly, ignoring the fact Chase was making fun of her. She just wanted to see him smile. She never liked it when ever a friend of her's was sad or depressed. She always made it her mission to bring her friend from that mood into a more cheerful one. "Yeah I guess, now that I guess you can call a miracle."

Chase finally calmed down from his outburst of laughter. He tried to catch his breathe before continuing to talk. "I'm sorry, Odango. But what did you do to gravity to cause it to be such an enemy against you?" he continued to tease.

Usagi shrugged her shoulders. "How should I know? I never want to become another's enemy...but I guess with gravity that's different...Gravity and I just...argue alot you could say.." she joked adding into Chase's amusement. She turned her head to look at the park scenery before both of them...and she began to hum a little tune....one which she had always known since she was little but never knew where it came from...

Chase was about to open his mouth to continue his teasing on the blonde but stopped with his mouth open after hearing Usagi humming. He watched her in awe for a while. The boy found his body relaxing with Usagi's voice. "What is that?" he asks, finally coming to his senses.

Usagi stopped huming and turned to face Chase, she blinked. "Oh, I'm sorry I thought I humming that to myself..." she blushes a little. Usagi was never one to sing in public but with friends...but Chase was now a friend so why should she be emmbarrest or afraid? She gathered her thoughts before speaking again. "Well I've always known that tune since I was little....I don't know where it's from because I asked my parents if they sang it to me when I was a baby but they said no....so I have no clue why I know that tune...but it always seems to relax or cheer me up a bit." she explained.

Chase rose an eyebrow after listening to Usagi. "Relax or cheer up?" he repeated in question. "So, what exactly are you saying? That being here with me doesn't make you happy enough?" he said, turning away. He folded his arms and slouched on the bench, trying to act his best as if he was angry.

Usagi sweat dropped, her and her big mouth. "No, no it's just that ok well I have no clue why I started humming that tune. I just looked at the scenery of the park and it made me think of that tune." she explained, hoping she didn't make Chase angry.

Chase smirked as a thought came to his mind. He turned over and leaned in towards Usagi. He was not very far away from Usagi's face as he looked into the girl's eyes. "That's good, because if you weren't happy then it would be my job to 'cheer you up a bit'?" he whispered, softly yet deep and low.

Usagi began to blush as Chase leaned into her and looked into her eyes. Crystal blue eyes clashed with sapphire blue eyes. The way Chase spoke in that whispered sent shivers down Usagi's spine....she had no clue how to respond to that.

Chase grinned in satisfaction with the reaction he had caused the girl. He started to lean in a little father to make the girl more nervous but his eyes widen as another thought came through his mind. He narrowed his eyes as he continued to look at Usagi. "Eh, Odango? Do you have a boyfriend?" he asked in a normal voice.

Usagi did a mental 'phew' as Chase began to speak in his normal tone. But she still wasn't comfortable with him leaning into her....just what was he getting at?? And boyfriend, her?!? Usagi shook her head no. "W-why do you ask?" she asked a bit afraid and innocently.

"Good" Chase breathed out with a smirk. He did not want to continue what he was doing just in case the girl had some overprotected boyfriend that would come after him in a second. Even if it was harmless and he didn't mean anything by it. He just making girl's blush. It fed his ego lots.

Chase's eyes grew in surprise as he slowly reached his hand to place over the red and sore spot Usagi's slap. He stared coldly at Usagi, trying his best to hold back his rage that began to rise. "Hmp!" he finally said, turning his head to the side. "Whatever," he said under his breath.

"I'm gonna go," Chase announced, standing on his feet. He grabbed his bag and put it over his shoulder. "See you around," he whispered while his head was lower. He then started to walk off.

Chase was angry himself, as he continued to walk through the park. Stupid girl. She has some nerve doing that, he thought as he clenched his teeth. His feet suddenly stopped walking as Chase stood there motionless. His body had quickly been taken over by loneliness. He found himself suddenly regretting walking away from the blonde. But why would he feel like that after the girl slapped him. Why was this girl so special?

"Odango?" Chase whispered, appearing behind Usagi. He really had no idea why he came back. If any other girl had done what she did to him he would of just forgot about her and kept on walking. But before he knew it, his feet was taking him back to the bench. And once he caught glimpse of Usagi, his heart started to feel guilty.

Chase just closed his eyes and gentely shook his head. "No, I'm sorry, Odango. I went way out of hand," he spoke softly. He then looked over to her and gave the blonde a reassuring smile to prove that everything was alright once more.

Chase's cheeks began to warm up watching Usagi's pose. More and more Usagi was reminding him of the girl...from his dream. He shook his head to shake off the feeling. He turned his head and looked the other way so Usagi wouldn't accuse him of staring too much. But he couldn't help but continued to look at her through the corner of his eye.
