Arch the Angel "Unconvincing, and unlikely." The hollow voice piped again. "You are still under arrest. Do you need help in standing?" Minerva ignored the cop, and stood up on her own. But at Devon's words her temper flared ten fold. "You killed Mav you twisted b*****d!" She reached for her gun.

The guard watching Minerva didn't flinch as they pulled the trigger, the foam round hitting her in the chest like a lead weight, quickly sealing over her body. An exaggerated sigh came from one of the other officers. "They always go the hard way."
Both were hauled into a truck outside, driven to the Police Station.
((And now you both have to make a post, in character, explaining the situation, and why I shouldn't lock you both away for blowing s**t up.
This is serious, too. I will totally lock you guys in jail, cause it would amuse me. And these little explanations are taking place separately, so go nuts.))

A.C. surveyed the crackdown from a distance, one eyebrow raised. Well, GOOD, she thought to herself. At least Jehric keeps watch over his own some of the time. Wish I could say that for the Union... She sighed mentally. If wishes were wings, more than supers would fly. And THEN where would we be?
She continued on her way.

Minerva leaned against a brick wall a few blocks down from the police station, she had a large bag slung over her shoulder, the gun inside. Her hair was tied back in a long pony tail, and she was dressed in her usual cargos with black shirt and a green canvas jacket.
She looked to be waiting patiently, except for the quick rhythmic tap of her finger against the brick of the wall.

Having just finished doing things at the war shelter, Verve reentered the city and was on his way back to the HQ when he noticed Minerva. Not being one to pass up a conversation with a hot blond, Verve leaned against the wall next to her. "Waiting on someone?"

"The year I spent in that hole took a toll on me, and I need to get back in fighting trim. You're the one that got me there the first time, as 'Sergeant-Major Cross,' which is why I'm coming to you now. That, and the fact that you're the best I know."
