Amaya laughed a little at what he said and then kissed him again. Laying her head down on the pillow, she yawned a little. Cuddling closer to Roran a little she sighed happily and giggled. "Goodnight. I love you." She said, closing her eyes.

Smiling at her kiss, he was glad that she was open to him. It meant that he could be open to her. Letting her get comfy, he let one arm slowly fall over her body, almost locking them together. "I love you too," the words rolled off his tongue, a funny, nice feeling. "Goodnight."

The two slept soundly throughout the night, but about an hour before dawn, Kaname walked into the room and tapped Amaya on the should quietly. Waking up, Amaya saw her maid and sighed. "Is it time to get up?" She asked. The maid simply nodded, dressed in black and then left the room.
Sighing, Amaya gently shook Roran and kissed him. "It's time to get up." She said as she brushed some hair behind her ears. She crawled out of bed and went to something that was haning on her screen.

Roran woke up to recieve a kiss. Not having even opened his eyes, he grinned. "There's a good way to start the day," he muttered, getting up. Going into his room, he realized that he had a problem. Going back into Amaya's room, he did't look in or anything, just poked his head in with closed eyes. "Amaya, dear? Heh, I have a problem. I odn't have any black clothes."

"Kaname laid some out on your bed. She's sneeky that way." Amaya said as she laughed from behind the changing screen. She came out, dressed in some clothes that looked like they belonged to a fairy. The dress looked like it was made out of one big flower, but she sighed and put her black cloak over it, glad that Roran hadn't seen it. She would explain later.

Roran smirked. Sneaky. Good sign, for now. Changing into his black clothes, he walked out of his room, walking down the halls. Passing a mirror, he stopped and looked, frowning. "My white hair may be a problem," he muttered to himself.

Amaya walked out and heard Roran, laughing. "Your white hair is fine. It isn't going to change for anyone." She said as she walked up and kissed him.

"Heh, maybe I should squash a few plums on it, turn it that pruple-black color?" He joked, ruffling his own hair until it was okay to be seen at a funeral. Looping his arm for her to links hers with, he gave her an innocent smile, feeling good for some reason.

Amaya laughed and then shook her head, already heading outside with him. The forest was cold and she shivered a little, but she ignore that and started walking with him deep into the forest, where a buch of people were headed.

Roran walked with her, keeping up with her pace this time. As she shivered, he took his arm from the loop and placed it around her waist, trying to give her some of his warmth. "Hey, I want you to remember that if you feel like crying, then cry. Yes, you are Queen, but you are also only human. Humans are allowed to weep."

Amaya smiled and nodded. It took a while for them to reach where they were going, but once they did, they stumbled onto a huge temple with candles burning around an open coffin. The people cleared, allowing Amaya and Roran through.

Once the people cleared the way, Roran let Amaya go. Stadning off to the side, he wanted to speak with the dead King, have a "chat". Even if it was one sided, he still would like to tell the King what he needed to know.

Amaya took off her cloak and knelt next to her father's coffin, whispering quietly to him for a little while. After a couple of minutes, a couple of tears slipped down her cheeks and then she moved so Roran could speak with him, facing her people.

Roran knealt down near the coffin as Amaya had, but he got a little closer to the King's body than she had.
"Hi there," Roran spoke in a whisper, as if the King was alive. "You've never met me, though I'd hope you know I'm Prince Roran, yes the one marrying your daughter, Amaya." Without realizing it, he shook the man's hand.
"Well, I was wanting to tell you that our marriage has become, well, more than a political one. I...I love your daughter, sir. She's, very beautiful, and we share a lot of passions. For intance, she loves to dance, and well, I love to dance. I love my horse to death, and she seems to have the same feelings with Crow."
He looked back at the crowd. "Well, I'm probably taking more time than a Prince from Syra should. I just wanted to let you know that I'll take good care of your daughter. The best care I can give her. Thank you." Standing, he felt like he was in an awkward position, but he didn't let it get to him. Walking up behind Amaya, he placed his hands on her shoulders. Letting his hands fall, he had her in a hug from behind.
Sighing, he kissed her neck. "Think of it this way, he's in a better place. One where flowers are everywhere, all his dreams come true, and he can see your smiling face every day. Yours, and your sister's." Lifting one of his hands, he wiped the tears from her face.

Amaya nodded silently, and a few more people went by before the funeral started. It lasted for another hour, and just as the sun started to rise, everything fell completely silent and amaya stepped away from Roran. It was custom that the eldest always do one last dance for the loved one. It was supposed to resemble a fairy dancing at the sun's first rays. She did that dnace now, and it was light and quick, and once it was over, she nodded to the people and the crowd left. Amaya went back to Roran and took him into the temple, where they were placing her father in his tomb.
