Remmy gently pulled back, laying his forehead against hers. He gave her a minute to breathe and then kissed her again, still gently and feather light. He didn't want to push her into anything and the experience was pretty new. The only time he'd kissed someone was when they'd played pin the bottle once and he'd had to kiss some guy. They hadn't even wanted to go near each other so that kiss didn't really count much.

::lets go of his shirt and wraps her arms around his neck. It's not the exact way she'd envisioned her first kiss to be. She always thought she'd be wearing a ball gown, and they'd be in a garden, not sitting in her faded cherub pjs in her dimly lit kitchen. The thought coming to her a little ironically, cherub, goddess, what was the difference, anyway? This time she's the one to pull back:: I never thought. . . ::shakes her head:: You are cute when you blush, too.

Remmy chuckled and kissed her on the cheeks as his own turned a deeper red. "Thanks." he said, tugging gently on her sleeve and smiling. "Sorry if I messed up your first kiss, not many people dream of it being in a kitchen." he muttered, going to rub the back of his neck except, her arms were there. It was a rather pleasant weight on his shoulders.

He ran his fingers through her hair, loving the feel of it. He kissed the side of her head and wrapped his arms around her. "Being afraid to leave home would tend to complicate things. But then again, everyone else has germs too." he said, thinking about it. He laid his head against hers and sighed contently.

::smiles, enjoying being touched in a non-clinical way.:: it seems so. This is fair. This is to make up for all those years in isolation tents, when I was so full of radiation that doctors had to wear special suits around me and they had to throw out every piece of silverware and glassware that I used. I'm being allowed something, finally. ::tightens her arms around him and sighs happily::

Remmy chuckled. It was kind of odd when she said that and it would have made a human run in fear he was sure. He petted her hair, seriously loving how it felt. He didn't want to make her feel weird though so he didn't really know what to do. He pulled her up gently and then brought his leg up to rest his ankle on his knee which made a sort of chair out of his lap and made it so that she wouldn't strangle him if she decided to tighten her hold again.

His leg wasn't asleep but he didn't say anything. "I think maybe I'll go work out at the gym in the basement. I need to work off some energy." he said, standing up.

Remy nodded and quickly left the room. Neither of them really liked uncomfortable silences so he figured he would save the both of them the trouble and get out of there.

::so she goes and gets in the shower. The gym is very old looking. It even has one of those machines with the belt to "shake off the fat." The newest piece of equipment is a dusty thighmaster in the corner that is still in the box. But there are free weights everywhere and an old plywood box that has "staremister" clumsily painted across it::

Remmy shook his head. "She wasn't kidding when she told me it was old." he said, going over and organizing the free weights and trong to see if there was a benchpress or legpress anywhere.

::there's something that looks like it might be a legpress. It's a mat on the ground next to the wall. At an angle above it is another large piece of plywood chained to the wall with a series of hooks on the back that are just big enough to hook the free weights on

Remmy sighed but decided to give it a try, it wasn't like her would die if it messed up. He hooked up some of the free weights, relatively light ones, and then tried to figure how he would use it as a leg press. He sat down and tried it out.
