With how Kyrin had worried about Craig, Jaydn found it a little odd that she wasnt here with him now. "Where's the queen of the Butterfly Mafia?" Though not entirely intentional, Jaydn said the title he gave Kyrin with slight cynicism. Jaydn was unaware of Craig's dislike for him, he wasnt sure if it was possible. The way Jaydn saw it, Craig just hadn't known Jaydn enough to really like him. If they ever did connect, Craig would like him without a doubt and so Jaydn tried to connect with this man who was one of the few that held his respect.

Smoothing his features into they’re normal emotionless calm, Draven simply stated, “you heard what I said, make of it what you will”, his voice was so serious it was as if Draven was bargaining for someone’s life, not his simple love in some (in his mind) foolish girl. Then he simply stated again, “I want my shirt” he wanted any excuse to get away from Kyrin right now, he had let his tongue slip again and she had once again gleaned information from his weakness in her.

Craig's eyes narrowed at Jaydn's title and said shortly, "She went to the ballroom." Craig wasn't one to get angry easily, but Jaydn's attitude irked him a little bit. Running his hand through his hair, in an attempt to calm his nerves, Craig simply waited to see what Jaydn would do with the new information.

Jamie relaxed into Ian's arms, resting. He needed this, and at the current mental state, he wasn't going to fight his pride to have it. Curse his pride, he was going to take this. His senses were overwhelmed with Ian, the sound of his breathing, his smell, so familiar. It was comforting. He couldn't think about what had happened, what he and Kyrin had done, leaving Ian. Just this.

Ian smiled at Nori as he watched him go back into the kitchen. He's a good boy...
Now that he apparently had permission to touch him, Ian cautiously began to gently run his fingers through Jamie's hair. Ian wanted to stay like this with Jamie in his arms. He knew that he shouldn't feel happy about this but he couldn't help it. Even though he was supposed to be mad at Jamie he just couldn't be. Jamie meant so much to him and Ian wanted to be there for him.

Still blissfully oblivious to Craig's reaction to his usual banter, Jaydn simply said "Oh." before heading off towards the ballroom. He was curious as to why Kyrin would coop herself up in there when it looked like her mafia was buzzing about with activity. Probably playing with that stupid cat of hers.
Swinging his plastic bag slightly to and fro as he walked, he entered the ballroom and stopped at the entryway. Quickly he assessed the scene. Kyrin was crying, something that irked Jaydn slightly, being that he never really picked on Kyrin enough to make her seriously cry, and Draven seemed to be the cause of it, which downright pissed Jaydn off. He said the first thing that came to his mind, his voice low but dangerous, "What the hell?!"

Draven whipped around and growled like a caged beast, even his small canine teeth were showing slightly. It wasn’t quite the point that he didn’t like Jaydn or even the point that anyone had entered the room, it was simply because Draven was not only caught off guard, but he was outnumbered. Two things that instantly put him even closer to the edge he was dangerously close to falling off of. Draven spared a moment to look at Kyrin, seeing if this was his opportune moment to leave.

Kyrin looked up at her cousin as he entered the room, she opened her mouth to speak, but no words came out. Another sob racked her body as she cast her eyes down to the ground. She didn't know what to say to what Draven had said and she really needed some time to think over his words. Though she was unable to collect herself, Kyrin managed to mutter, "Its in my closet..." Before losing herself in tears again. Knowing Jaydn was there made Kyrin feel instantly weaker, but her mind still readied her for any insult or jest he may decide to throw her way.

“I’m sorry for all the trouble”, Draven said as he turned to fully face Kyrin, “when you’re ready to face me, I’ll be in my room”, he said the latter quietly to keep Jaydn from hearing it. Then he simply walked out of the room, shouldering into Jaydn on his way. It was Draven’s personal way of saying ‘I hope you die’ but in a nice way.

Jaydn's eyes narrowed as Draven acted hostile towards him. As the man walked away, Jaydn reached into his bag and pulled out a Snickers bar that he had bought, throwing it without hesitation at Draven's retreating form. This was his way of issuing a challenge, he wasnt about to just let some nobody bump into him without doing something about it. That and he had made someone important to Jaydn, though he wouldnt outwardly admit it, cry, a very bad mistake. Though probably not as muscular as Draven, Jaydn could hold his own for a good amount of time and if it came to it, he had a gun that he was not above using.
The piece of candy however fell short of Draven's quickly moving form, giving a small thud as it landed on the floor. Letting it stay there and swearing to himself that he would deal with the idiot later, Jaydn's first priority was making sure that his cousin was alright. He walked up to her, looking at her with a somber expression. In a normal situation with her not crying, Jaydn would have poked fun at the fact that she let a man put her down. But since this wasnt a normal situation, Jaydn had no intention of picking on his cousin. Not sure of how to comfort her, being that he was unaccustomed to doing such a thing, he simply held out his plastic bag, offering, "Cheeto?"

After looking at the offered bag of Cheetos, Kyrin's eyes went up to her cousin's face. "No..." She said, almost silently. Wiping her eyes with her hands, Kyrin tried to stop her crying. What have I done...? She looked down at the butterfly necklace on the ground, "I messed up..." Kyrin admitted, as she lifted the small item into her hand, "Jaydn... I messed up." Fresh tears rolled down her cheeks.

"Then fix it." Jaydn was blunt but not meaning to be cruel. This just seemed like the most obvious thing to do and the best piece of advice he could give with not knowing what had happened. Going over to the armchair by Kyrin's throne that Jaydn had claimed as his own, he dropped his bag of goodies on the floor and sprawled out across the chair, getting comfortable. He watched Kyrin, a serious expression on his face, his grey eyes focused.

As much as Kyrin wanted to 'fix it', as Jaydn had put it, she knew that there was no way that she could fix what she had done. She couldn't take it back and it wouldn't just go away if she willed it. Kyrin wanted to just close her eyes and make it all go away, count to ten and have everything be wonderful again. Wonderful... Kryin couldn't actually remember the last time when things were wonderful. Somehow Kyrin had managed to make mistake after mistake and had gotten herself to this point. Her mind argued with her heart. She felt like she had failed, but her mind told her that she should get over it, that it would only make her stronger. "I can't fix it Jaydn...its done, and I can't make it better." As much as she wanted Jaydn to help her in that moment, Kyrin wasn't ready to tell him the whole story. She didn't want him to know that a man he looked up to was sleeping with her. She didn't want him to think she was a hussy. And she didn't want to seem weak, like guy problems mattered to her. As far as Jaydn knew, Kyrin didn't like men, and that was the problem, she thought she didn't. What happened? She couldn't comprehend. About a year ago, she greatly disliked men and went out of her way to prove them wrong; She could do anything that they could do and she showed them many times. But now, now she was reduced to tears over some man calling her names, and over her inability to deal with her own faults.

Jaydn sighed, then rummaged through his bag of food, pulling out a bag of cheetos and commencing to eat then. Honestly, he had no patience to do counseling but he knew he would feel bad about it later if he just left Kyrin the way she was. Not beyond stating the obvious, Jaydn said between bites, "Well, crying about it isnt going to do anything either," not really realizing that his words could hurt more than help.

This comment got Kyrin to pick up Jaydn's bag of Cheetos and throw it at him, scattering the food all over him and the floor. "a**..." Kyrin mumbled as she was beginning to stop crying. Even though she knew he was right, he didn't have to say it. Wiping her eyes again, Kyrin slipped the necklace around her neck. Clasping it in place, it fell just below her collar bone. She resolved to not tell Craig, she knew that he would never forgive her if he found out. It was an accident. She told herself, and it was. Sighing, Kyrin managed to completely stop the tears from escaping her eyes; her head hurt.
