When tho two of them were inside the tree, it was almost as if there was a sun inside of it. There was a lot of bioluminesant plants that hung from the walls of the tree and glowed a yellowish orange. The monster was clearly a two headed venus fly trap that towered 50 feet over a lake of a purplish liquid. The gas that bubbled from it left a putrid scent in the air and burned the eyes.
"Poison," Epotheros muttered.
The plants two heads snapped with excitment when it had discoverd their prescence. Epotheros also was in a mood to destroy them quickly. He drew his long sword and illuminated it with a fiery energy field. He also activated the flaiming boots that resembled dragon's feet as well. He then bent his knees slightly and literaly flew at the head on the left. With a quick and fiery slash of his sword he cut through the stalk the at supported the head like a hot knife through butter. The other head sun around to attack Epotheros as the one that had been decapitated fell into the pool of poison. As the second head opened its mouth, Epotheros deactivated the boots and concentrated all of his power in the right hand to create the flaming claw of the dragon lord realeasing a powerful burst of flames. which the plant took the brunt of in its mouth, instantaniously incinerating him.
Epotheros quickly deactivated it and fell back down to earth landing on the first head. He then jumped across the gap of purplish liquid that seperated him from dry land. He landed and sheathed his sword, walking over to Clover with a rather emotionless look in his eyes.
"That was easy, I would have expected more."
Just as he said it there was a splash that came from the water as a third head flung out off the purple liquid. It was more flower like but still had a mouth that was split into four flaps. It also had a much thicker stalk to it that was riddled with thorns and stiff, razor sharp leaves. As it pulled its head out of the water it sprayed a thick purple mist at Clover and Epotheros.
"Damn," Epotheros thought, "we need something to blow it to the sides of us by cutting the poisonous cloud down the middle or else we are done for. I hope Clover knows what to do."

The monster was quite a sight. Clover was actually a little impressed by how vicious a plant could be. She wasn’t sure what would happen so she quickly readied herself with one hand holding her bow and the other rested on her dagger. Wind, give me strength to prevail, this time she called out to the wind ahead of time. Clover wanted to be completely prepared. Watching Epotheros jump and slash one head off and then the other, she felt uneasy. Something’s not right. Zant’s creation can’t be this weak, can it? she thought in disbelief.
Clover’s eyes left the what appeared defeated monster and watched Epotheros. Before she knew what had happened a third head arose from the purple liquid spewing purple midst towards them. She quickly grabbed her dagger and concentrated the wind around it. Out of sheer determination her movements were fast and smooth. Before the poisonous midst reached them she sliced the air releasing a powerful surge of wind in attempts of protecting them from the purple liquid.

"Thanks Clover I owe you one," he said as he felt the wind brush against him.
The creature splash around violently in its pool of poison. It would push up waves of the purple liquid that would land on the shore and kill off all the life that was near it. Epotheros saw that this was very danderous for him and Clover so on instinkt he ran forward to the edge and held his hand on the surface of water pumpung a large amount of energy into it, drawing all of the heat out of it. As he did this the boiling fumes ate away at his gauntlet on his left hand and begain to burn his flesh. Before the wound was great enough, Epotheos had frozen the entire lake of poisonous liquid. It had also slowed the actions of the plant down tremendously.
Epotheros had wasted most of his magical energy on that attempt. He had only enough for one last burning slash from his sword. He raised it above his head as a spiral of fire surounded the blade. With all his might he swung it down releasing a large blade of fire that hit the creature down the middle. It let out a shreak of terror and pain as it was hit but the attack was nowhere strong enough to kill it. He knew they had one chance of finishing it, but it was up to Clover. He hoped she would know what to do, because she has seen it done before in a previous fight.

((I hope this is what you meant... If not just let me know and I'll edit it.)) Yes, she thought to herself as the poisonous mist rebounded against the wind. Clover repositioned herself. She concentrated the wind around her dagger to the length of a short sword, like she had during training. She watched Epotheros freeze the lake and send a firey blow towards the monster, but would it be enough? No she could tell that it wasn’t going to finish it off, but what could she do? She thought back and then realized. Yes, the firy vortex that destroyed Larien’s possessed tree. If only she could do the same.
Without anymore thought she called out to the wind and swung her dagger with all her strength towards the monster. Luckily the powerful funnel caught some of the stray flames from Epotheros’ last attack and engulfed the vicious plant-like monster.

As the monster thrashed about, the flames continued to spread. He had no escape and it was loosing parts of its body every second. Before long the monster could no longer stand as its stalk went limp the plants head laned a few feet from where Epotheros an Clover were standing. The flames then turned black just before the body vaporized in a puff of black smoke. Left in the place where the head was now rested a mask piece. Epotheros went over a picked it up, examinig the clay like material before putting it in his bag.
Epotheros the walked back over to Clover to whom he said, "mission complete," just before he placed his arms around her and gave her a light kiss on the lips. His attitude was a little more bold right now and he was truly happy that the both of them came out of the ordeal alive that his emotion had gotten the better of him.
Just in time to ruin the mood a illusion of Zant appeared where Epotheros found the mask piece. "You seem to have gotten quite cocky since you defeated one of my four beast, but to tell you the truth, he was the weakest of the four by far. You'll stand no chance against the stronger ones." Zant's image then faded with is laughing.

As I sat by the tree with my eyes closed trying to reserve my straight I sensed someone teleport near me as I did I quickly unsheathed one of my swords with what little straight I had left I swung my sword toward the person to were the tip of my sword just barely touched there throat as I then opened my eyes and to my surprise there was larien standing there with my sword to her throat I quickly let my sword fall “my apologies” I said looking at her “y r u here………u need to leave get back to the castle……were its safe” I said weakly by breath becoming increasingly labored I then resheathed my sword and looked into her eyes I then sensed someone else approach but I recognized the energy and new it was ty I then looked over at him “y in the hell did u let her leave the castle I asked u one thing and that was to keep her safe” I said as I tried to laugh “ok u two need to get out of here and back to the castle by now they probably now were I am if u two leave now u might be able to out run them…..taking me will slow u down to much…just go” I looked back to larien “I can take care of myself” I said as I lightly brushed the side of her check as I did I noticed the coaler around her neck “vason gorish monid” I whispered as I touched the coaler as I did it snapped in half and fell harmlessly off of her “now go” I said harshly looking away from her I then looked back toward her “don’t worry I have a plan” I said with a slit chuckle

Before the collar had a chance to fall from Larien's neck a purple glow illuminated around it and clasped it back around her causeing the soars to open and freshly bleed again. "I'm afraid Zant's creation is stronger than that, and I am not going anywhere without you."

"I didnt let her come here...I didnt even know she came here...but im not leaving without you, both of you..." Ty quickly scaned the peremeter, and came up with a few ideas, only one of them need work. "Tramer? do you think ur strong enough to get up and let me carry you? Forget that, that'll take too long...close ur eyes, this may sting a little." Puts hand over his face, and travels hand across Tramer's body. A Small shadow dragon is formed ontop of Tramer. The castle, Go! As the dragon takes off, carrying Tramer, Ty turns to Larien to pick her up... "Lets get out of here."

Watching the monster fall to its demise, Clover smiled warmly. She felt confident and overly relieved that Epotheros and her were still alive. She still wasn’t sure if she’d ever be able to leave him to his death. Clover couldn’t bare the such thoughts. Clover felt as if her body was submerged in warm liquid as Epotheros’ arms wrapped around her and their lips touched. She returned the kiss happily, right before the disturbing image of Zant appeared.
Her happiness was quickly replaced by anger, hate, and fear. She unconsciously clung to Epotheros as the taunting image spoke. By the time Zant’s voice and image had faded away Clover’s head was resting on Epotheros’ chest solemnly. She didn’t want to see or hear Zant ever again, even though she knew such things were impossible.

As Zant's figure appeared as if it was made of mist and Epotheros felt extreamly uneasy. Zant was watching the whole fight and likly saw the affection he had for Clover. She was already a huge target to Zant and this added more potiential for him to kill her. When Epotheros realized that she was clinging to his body, he made up his mind. He would not let Zant hurt her. This triggered a memory of his dream when the black night told him that "If you want to protect someone, you must say I will not let them be hurt, I will protect them."
Epotheros then placed his hand under Clover's chin and elevated her head slightly so he could look into her eyes. He could tell she was in distress and decided it would be best to return to the castle as quickly as possible.
"We should return to the castle before it gets to late and hopefully Tramer and Ty have retrieved Larien from Zant's castle. We can also give the mask piece to Lord Baragoon for him to study. We do need our rest, I am almost out of energy and I am sure you would like to relax aswell."
Epotheros then escorted her back to the main gate of the Lanryu providence where the gaurds stared, mouths agape in disbelief on how they had defeated the monster. Epothero then prepared his steed and rode with Clover back to the castle.

When Epotheros and Clover returned to the castle he quickly gave the mask piece to one of the guards to take to the Lord. He noticed that the others were still not back. The guards had reported that Ty and Larien were spoted in the cstle but vanish as suddenly as they appeared. Epotheros hoped that they had gotten out of the place with out much difficulty but even if they were in trouble, he didn't have the energy to help them. He would become a burden if he went so he decide to wait for them in the main hall, but before that he got a wet rag and wrapped it around his hand where he was burned by the poison. Epotheros sat on one of the chairs in the main hall and stared off into space. He was thinking what lied in the road ahead for them, but hopfully they would be victorious. Even if the monsters were tougher from here on, that posed little concern from him because if it all goes to plane the other three will be there to aid him and Clover. He was slightly nervous and was eager to talk to someone, just to help ease his mind.
