One story-arc might end when everyone arrives safely in Highguard, but I wouldn't count on an end to the story as a whole until the forces of evil are safely dispatched. Or until I get terribly bored of the whole thing and move on to another project without finishing things in any way, shape or form; which tends to be my modus operandi when it comes to writing these things.
