Alex fixed his hat back in position and signalled the men to go fire at them. Unfortunately for Alex his men weren't trained as bullets rebounded off the stone buildings as Oassu turned the corner "Ahhh sh**" swore Alex he stamped the ground he turned to the hopeless marksmen "Give chase on foot Shoot on site I'll head this way!" he said running off as the men sprinted after the pair.
Oassu turned to the running Seph "Yo know anywhere we can hide here?" he asked her

"I know someone that lives nearby he could probably give us a place to hide. But one question, how are you with fire demons?"

A shout came from round the corner and a shot ricocheted by his head "Right now I think I could drink beer with a behemoth so I reckon we'll get along just peachy!" he said as he ducked for cover

"Follow me then, and lets quicken the pace" She twisted and turned through several alleyways until she came to what looked like the back of the shop. Seph knocked. Almost stright away Alpha opened the door opened "get in" he shouted. He let everyone in and shut the door. He then looked at the thief "Oassu Selphirost we finally meet" he held out his hand

Oassu shook the hand "Oassu Selphirost....pleased to meet you stranger?" he said confused

he laughed "sorry i haven't exactly introduced myself. My name is Alpha. I'm an old friend of Sephs. I many look human now but i transform in ......."
"Can we save this for later" Seph butted in
"I guess, anyway follow me"
He lead them down a long stone staircase and into a large stone room. it looked like a dungeon that had been made into an underground house Only there was a small opening at the back.
"You can stop the night here, and you see that opening over there," he pointed to the back of the room, "that leads to a series of caves that lead you north out of town, i'll guide you through them tomorrow, but in the meantime make yourselves at home"

This place seemed really strange but so did this guy Seph has some pretty wierd friends. Can he even be trusted? she thought. It wasn't exactly what she would call a home "errrrrmmmmm........ it's a nice place" She lied not wanting to hurt his feelings

"Thanks, but this place really isn't much" he turned away from the elf an back to Seph "could i have a word please, in private" He sounded concearned about something
"sure. Hey guys i'll be back in a minute. "
They both headed out the door

Oassu laughed and patted Felina on the back "Yo don't worry about it ya?" he settled down in the corner "There's many worse places than this in the world....various jail cells for example" he grumbled. he looked at Seph "Don't worry we'll wait right here but don't be too long ok?" Leaning back he thought Alpha.....demons have very strange names this thought cheered him up a little

Seph followed Alpha up the stairs "so whats so important?"
"I have a warning for you," he paused "Niwa has been spotted not far away from the area you are heading to though she's probably moved by now"
Seph took a step back "NO! THATS IMPOSSIBLE! IT CAN'T BE" Seph shouted
"Yes i thought she was dead too but apparently not. Look all i'm saying is watch out"
"WHAT ELSE DO YOU KNOW?!" Seph demanded
"thats all i'm afraid"
"I see. You go back down to the others, i think i need to spend a few minutes alonse"
Alpha nodded and went away

Oassu was shaken from the peace of his thoughts by the shouting from upstairs hope she don't kill him he thought soon after Alpha followed down "Whassup?" asked Oassu

About a minute later Seph came into the room. She had just about managed to calm down but she was still a bit upset. She hoped the others wouldn't notice i don't want to worry everyone she thought

Oassu shrugged but brightened up when Seph came back "Yo Seph!" he said brightly.

Seph was deep in thought then she suddenly realised Oassu was talking to her "oh, hey Oassu. Sorry i was miles away" She leaned against the wall
