Kyoshou let out an exasperated sigh as he pressed his palm to his forehead. "Well compared to me, your a baby. I'm 214 years old. By the sound of it you don't even know what we are so let me try and explain. You and I are Bounts. We were created by accident by the Soul Society scientists who were developing experiments to create eternal life. Things didn't go as planned and we were created. We're basically a human soul but with similar powers to the Soul Reapers of the Soul Society. We technically have eternal life as long as we feed on souls to sustain us. That's why history books refers to our kind as 'vampires'" he said using his fingers as quotes. "And Yes, if we eat someone's soul they will die. Normally we only feed on souls that have already died but haven't crossed over yet. Unfortunately these aren't as common to find and if we don't maintain our diet, we'll age but I guess that's a matter of personal choice." Kyoshou was no bloodthirsty killer but he loved life far too much to even think about getting old. "Aside from our power to steal souls and live unnaturally long lives, our greatest strength is our Dolls. They're the equivilant to a Soul Reaper's Zanpaku-tou. Only difference is they dont' take the form of a weapon and are a lot more independent. If we show them enough weakness, they'll turn around and kill us. So if that family of yours ever thinks your doing a shitty job being their master, they'll kill you." It was the ugly truth. As much as Callum wouldn't like to think his own family would turn on him, it was an ever present possibility in the life of a Bounto. On a less grim topic, Kyoshou continued "My particular doll is sealed in these headphones." He said pointing to the headset dangling from his neck. "Show yourself, Sakebi!" Kyoshou said. The headphones seemed to turn into a white smoke as it solidified into a figure in front of him. It turned into what looked like a white faceless mannequin. The really muscular kind you'd see in department stores wearing a skimpy speedo to cover its non-existant genitalia. The ivory 'Adonis' stood completely motionless as the air around him seemed to warp and bend. "This here is my doll Sakebi. He's not much of a talker but he can make himself heard if he wants to" Kyoshou said. He was making a slight reference to the doll's ability to manipulate sound. "This cave here is supposed to be were the remaining few of us live. Inside there's supposed to be some huge crystal that with the help of a Quincy's powers, will let us back into the Soul Society. Our powers are way stronger there but with a standing order to exterminate all of the remaining Bountos, I'd be like walking into a spider's web." The wind rushing through the cave's mouth let out an ominous whistle.

Callum listened to everything the man said, making sure to take it all in and not forget any of it. When he said that if he showed weakness his family would turn on him and kill him, he shook his head, not wanting to hear it. He waited until the man was done talking and he summoned his strange doll to start talking. Callum waved quickly at the doll before looking back to the man. "Bounts can live to be that old? Wow... And we weren't created by Soul Society. See, I was about to go..." He looked back at his family and then back to the man. "...run away when this old lady found me. So I went back to her house with her and when I woke up she'd put a curse on me and every family member close to me turned into a doll." He said with a sigh. "So I guess we aren't real Bounts, and we are still family. I'm confused right now and you probably are too." He admitted with a slight smile. Callum wasn't too sure if his story was completely accurate but that was all he could remember. Maybe the witch was a Shinigami. For all he knew Shinigami could be old ladies that live in huts in the forest and cast spells on small children. "I don't think they'd kill me. I mean, some of them don't want to fight, and some of them do. So what am I suppose to do? No matter what I do I'm showing weakness to some of them." He said with a frown. When the man told him about the cave they were at and it's ability to send them to Soul Society he looked at him with wide eyes. "You mean if we got a Quincy to help us we could travel to another world?" He asked, all wide-eyed. Truth be told Callum was definitely the dreamer. "There are Bounts even older than me. As long as we keep feeding, we'll never age." Kyoshou replied. Frankly he was getting quite bored with the boy. His doll stood by his side like a marble statue occasionally a strange sound would come from his direction but other than that he was absolutely silent. "Well kid, just giving you a fair warning. The Soul Society won't care why your a Bount. They'd only care that you are a Bount and will hunt you down just like they would the rest of us." In all honesty, Kyoshou wasn't confused mostly because he didn't care. Sure the boy was an anomaly among Bounts but other than that there was nothing of interest to him. "Psh. Don't ask me kid. They're your dolls so they're your problem. Your gonna have to grow up and stop acting like a helpless little kid. Your involved with the spirit world so your gonna have to learn to rely on yourself." Kyoshou really didn't care to hear the boy's life story. He had places to go, people to see, cultures to influence. Kyoshou put his arms behind his head and began walking towards the cave entrance not really caring if the boy was done talking or not. "Its more like another dimension but yeah sure, but like I said: our kind aren't very welcome there so you best stay out. I'd love to stay and chat but I've got better things to do that sit here and babysit you. I told you everything you need to know so as far as I'm concerned, your on your own. Good luck and try not to get yourself killed. I'll just embarrass us." Sakebi followed closely behind Kyoshou. He moved rather curiously as if hovering a few centimeters off the ground, sliding behind Kyoshou. He grew harder and harder to see as the two walked deeper into the cave's mouth.

Callum nodded. "Oh I know. We've already had a run-in with one person from Soul Society. My dad thought it'd be a good idea to go to this weird frozen place. The only person we run into? Someone from Soul Society who attacks us." He shook his head. "My sister tried to get him to give up but it didn't work. We haven't done a single thing wrong in our life, or to them for that matter. I realize now the only reason Soul Society wants to get rid of Bounts is because they're embarrassed of the accident they made. All they're trying to do is eradicate this new form of life that they created. I don't think people should necessarily fear Bounts, I think they should think of them as another step in the spiritual food chain. Because, after all, we're just doing what we have to in order to survive." He said and then looked away, kind of embarrassed. Callum looked up at him when he said he needed to stop acting like a helpless child and sighed. "I'm not helpless, I'm just confused. It's not like I was born into this like you were, I was changed. Big difference, you know." He said before following him towards the cave entrance. He stopped, ignoring the rest of what the man said as he went over to his dolls. He asked his mom and dad to take their rings off and after a moment of hesitation they did. He also asked for Carters' and Mindy's. The only doll that remained was Cecelia. He put his hand out to help her up and when she was up the two headed into the cave after the man. "If you have places to be, why are you going into this cave? It's a cave, not a city. There's no one here that hasn't seen what we can do already." He pointed out to him. And from what he understood the cave came to an end at some point, so it wasn't necessarily a tunnel. Callum didn't really care, he was just bored and was somewhat glad to finally have another Bount by him. Kyoshou rolled his eyes but didn't turn back to Callum. "You obviously don't know anything about networking. I hear a community of the remaining Bounts live in this cave. Quite a few Bounts have rather high status in today's world since they've had much more time to earn money and influence politicians. I used to myself so now I'm trying to build myself back up. Having some wealthy contacts to pull favors from is always a plus." He replied. Back in the Victorian Era, Kyoshou lived in England where he was one of Britain's top business investors. Of course his never ending youth raised some questions so he was forced to move on. That's when he moved to America just when the automotive industry began. Kyoshou became a wealthy oil tycoon but just as before, his eternal youth forced him to keep moving. Here in Japan Kyoshou hopes to be a world famous fashion designer. If it didn't work out here in Japan, Kyoshou would just move to Paris and try again. Its not like he was on a time line. He had all the time in the world. Callum did have a point though. Kyoshou couldn't sense any other Bounts. He turned to his doll and said "Oy. Do you hear anyone else in this cave?" The faceless doll crouched down and pressed his ivory palm to the cave floor. Because solids carry sounds much more efficiently than air, Sakebi was trying to detect any vibrations of sound. If there was another Bount, he would hear them. After a minute or two, Sakebi stood up and silently shook his head at Kyoshou. "Hmmm. Strange. Not a single being in this place." He mumbled. Now he wasn't sure if he should keep venturing into the cave or just leave.

There was a bit of an awkward silence in the cave. It wouldn't feel so strange if Callum wasn't there. Kyoshou wasn't quite sure what he should do now. He wanted to strengthen himself as a Bount but he couldn't without a Joukaishou stone. He looked over to Sakebi and began reflecting on their relationship. It wasn't quite like other Boutous where the Doll was constantly on the watch for their master's weakness. Sakebi was more of a silent helper. He too orders without question though Kyoshou never ordered him to do anything inhumane or unreasonable. He remembered back to his days as an aristocrat in British society. Kyoshou often through over the top, lavish parties. The type politicians and wealthy business men attended. People would dine on fine wine and caviar. Because of Sakebi's statue-like appearence, Kyoshou would often have him stand at the center of the foyer as people entered. Then people would be astounded as the statue would seem to change poses as they left. It was sort of an inside joke for Kyoshou. People would ask him if he changed the statues because the post was different at each party. Kyoshou would laugh and insist they were delirious to think that and perhaps they should have their eyes checked. Of course by the end of the parties, the last guest was always met with a great surprise. As the last guest entered the foyer, Sakebi would turn to them. The leaving guest would usually proceed to scream but with the doll's unique ability to manipulate sound, no one would hear their last cry for help. Kyoshou needed to make sure he kept his eternal youth. Slowly but surely people began to notice that guests from these fancy get together would vanish without a trace and Kyoshou kept his youthful appearence. Rumors whispered throughout town that Kyoshou was a vampire who was draining the life from his party goers. Technically they were half right. Eventually the cliche mob carrying pitchforks and torches showed up at Kyoshou's mansion ready to take matters into their own hands. The mob was shocked to see the statue come to life coming to Kyoshou's aid. The town couldn't quit piece together what this being was that aided Kyoshou in his escape but they were certain he was a vampire. After snapping out of his flashback, Kyoshou snapped his finger. Sakebi turned into a wispy smoke that gathered around his neck where they solidified into his headphones. "Well see ya later kid. I guess I better head back to town. Good luck with your erm....family"" He said barely looking at him. With that Kyoshou began making his way back towards the cave entrance he came from. As he reached the outside, he began wondering where in the hell was he supposed to find a joukaishou stone.

Callum scratched the back of his head. He watched as the man and the other man walked into the tunnel. "I understand how networking works. What I meant was that these people have most likely already seen everything you've got to offer." He said with a shrug and turned to Cecelia as the man headed farther into the cave. "I don't quite get it, Cecelia. How this man knows all this." He said with a light sigh. He looked into his sister's eyes and he could see some glimpse of security.
Cecelia shrugged. She flipped some of her blond curls out of her face and adjusted her clothing before even attempting to answer her brothers' question. True, it wasn't all that difficult to answer, but she didn't know if she should give him fact or try to help him out and give him lies to make him feel better. After a few moments of thinking she decided enough was enough, that she'd need to give him fact. "He's a bount, just like us. He was born naturally, though, whereas we were transformed by a curse. He knows how they work, how everything goes. And, as much as I don't want to admit it, I have a feeling... everything he said is true." She said to her brother before nodding slowly. Cecelia then looked up at the sky. She then jumped a little. "Oh, crap! We were suppose to go see if the high school would accept us in!" She said, poking at her mothers' ring.
Callum nodded and took off Larissa's ring. She appeared and stretched. "Mom, we're going to be late to the school. We need to go there, now." He said, and his mother jumped in surprise before agreeing. "Bye, mister guy." Callum said as they both went their separate ways. Kyoshou once again wandered into the dark home cave of the bounts. Surprisingly, he has no recollection of his life here. He knows he was here at one point in time but that was so long ago, he couldn't remember at all. His earliest memories were that of his life as an aristocrat in Victorian Era England. The life of the rich and famous. The lavish mansions. The over the top parties. The fine wine. The beautiful people. The high fashion. That was one thing Kyoshou missed. The gorgeous people and their beautiful clothes. That's why Kyoshou's current aspiration was to be a world famous fashion designer. He still hadn't gotten started but he had a few sketches in a notebook he kept with him. He was still deciding on a name. It would be something like Gagito, or Dragon Couture. Something powerful that he would always be remembered for.

Smoke came up in the cave as a shadow of a person began to fade in Kegin walked out of the smoke brushing his hand through his hair "Well Tengu lets get started on this training we have to become stronger if we want to show evrybody that we are not to be messed with" he said looking at Tengu " Yes master i shall train for as long as you want me to" he said to Kegin. Kegin smiled at Tengu "We will both train how about some fight training lets fight each other but you have to fight me as if i were the enemy ok not your master or you wont use your full power" he said as he took the katana off of his back and held it in his hand pointing it at Tengu. "Yes master i shall not hold back lets begin" he said as he made smoke go all around them while in the smoke Tengu could move at great speeds he came up behind Kegin and took his claws and slashed at his back. Kegin grined as he felt Tengu come up behind him he blocked his attack with his all black katana and twisted around pushing Tengu back "You have gotten faster my friend but are you stronger show me your power Tengu" he said doing an slash at Tengu coming down on him to see if Tengu could block the attack. Tengu slide back from Kegin pushing him "good push master i will show you my strength" he said holding up his claw to catch Kegin katana as it came down Tengu pushed back and began to push it away useing his other claw to push it again he made his master silde back some "You see master i have grown in my strength as well as my speed" he said grining at Kegin as he faded away into the smoke. Kegin stoped hisself to see Kegin fade away "Oh you think you can hide from me well lets see" he said as he slashed around himslef makeing the smoke that was near him blow away so Tengu would not be able to get close without coming out of the smoke "Its good to see your not getting weak Tengu since you can hold your own with me i have to step it up" he said takeing his hand out of his poket and grabed his all black katana with his right hand leaveing his left hand free Kegin always kept his right hand in his poket when he fights becuase that is the hand he fights best with so to make it easyer on his enemys he fights with his left hand then if he feels he needs to he will switch to his right. Tengu saw Kegin take his hand out and take hold of the katana with his right hand "Are you ready master?" Tengu said come out of the smoke going right for Kegin slashing at him with one claw takeing his other claw and slashing at Kegin from the other side "Can you block from both sides master lets see" he said grin at Kegin. Kegin just grined as Tengu came after him "I dont need to block it" he said as he slid under the attack and slashed at Tengu cutting his arm Kegin jumped up on a rock and grined at Tengu "You have to watch that arm Tengu i guess i get first blood" he said smiling at Tengu as a cut came on Kegin's face right on his cheek "Wha how did you oh ok i will give you that one but you wont get me next time" he said runing after Tengu. Tengu grabed his arm as blood begin to come from it "oh man that was good but i wont go down like that" he said as he went back into the smoke it grew and began to cover almost the whole cave in smoke and Kegin was in the middle of it Tengu came out in the air above Kegin and came slashing down at him bloth of his claws out ready to cut him " Be ready master" he said as he was about to come in contact with Kegin. Kegin looked up just as he heard Tengu he held his katana up to block the attack but the force of Tengu was to much and as soon as he hit Kegin was slamed into the ground he was able to block the cut but he was not able to stop him from landing on him. Tengu got up and grabed Kegin by his neck and held him in the air "Come on master i know your stronger then this but if you dont want to fight then ok i guess i will have to kill you" he said as his eyes began to glow red he smaled Kegin on the floor and was holding him up in the air again. Kegin took his katana tight in his hand and began to choke as Tengu was holding him "I got you now!!!" he said as he slashed at Tengu's chest as he cut him tengu droped Kegin and took some steps back he said as he put his sword back onto his back and sat down leaning on a rock he began to relax. Tengu held his chest as some blood came out useing the smoke he stoped it from bleeding "Yes master you were great i knew you could do better" he said as he made the smoke go away so the cave could be seen again he sat down next to Kegin and began to heal his wounds with his smoke it would take long tholugh he just puts smoke into them so it would not hurt him anymore he would be able to move freely but the cuts were still there. Kyoshou ever so graciously led Rikku into the Kariya Cavern. For being a cave system, it was quite elaborate. They finally reached the heart of the cave. A wide cavern. Walls had windows built into them revealing stony homes within. It was almsot like a catacomb. This was the bount's living quarters when they were forced to hide their face from the world. Both living and dead. Atop a series of stone steps was an ornate rock gateway. Across its threshold was pure darkness. A once luminous portal to the Soul Society. Kyoshou turned to Rikku and said "Alright Rikku. All I need you to do is shoot one of those arrows of yours into that gateway. After that, your free to go." He said with a coy smile.

Rikku follows him to the cavern as she looks around. She sighs, why should she look around if she may die soon anyways? She knows fully well that she could be walking right into a trap, prehaps, suddenly more bounts will arrive and she would be overpowered. Easily. She looks at the ornate rock gateway, it's dark but it does have symbols on it, she knows that it may even start glowing once she shoots an arrow into it. Kyoshou turned to her and blinks when she hears him and she honestly, doesn't believe that she's free to go. His smile is not exactly reassuring. She shrugs it off as she looks at her hand, trying to summon the bow. Moments later she was able to summon a bow but it doesn't seem powerful for someone like her. Sighing disappointly, she was hoping that somehow, this place, would help her work on her powers but that may not happening any time soon. Drawing her bow back, an arrow appears and the power itself, gets stronger. She shoots the arrow into the gateway as it first sends out glowing shockwave but then it glows fully, a circler motion appears and it was the portal. Siging, she closes her eyelids. "There you go." Her body turns to leave.

Kyoshou blinked a few times making sure his eyes weren't fooling him. "It worked? It actually worked!" He shouted overjoyed. He didn't know if the portal still had its once lost power. He began jumping in the air jovially whooping as he did. He ran over to Rikku embracing her into a tight hug. "Woohoo! That was great! Thank you so much." He pulled back slightly to look her in the eye. He stood their for a second before leaning in to press his lips against hers. Little did Rikku know that the moment their lips touched, Kyoshou would begin draining her soul straight out of her body. Kyoshou hadn't had a decent meal in quite some time and he couldn't pass up a quincy with fading powers.

Rikku hears the bount jumping around with joy, shouting joyfully as well but she simply ignores him continues to walk out but then she gasp in surprise when he hugs her. "Let go of me you-" She stops when he look at her in the eyes. He started to lean in and Rikku tries to pull back but he had his arms around her and not to mention she doesn't have any power to blow his head off of those shoulders. However, she does have a hidden pocketknife which she normally use to skin an animal's skin or a fish scales, she flips it open and stabs him on the side, she knows it won't kill him but at least she'll leave him something to remember her by. Once his lips touches hers... something... something wasn't right so she tries to struggle for a bit but then she was just... gone. Her body turns into dust moments later.

As the last fragments of Rikku's soul were sucked out through her lips, Kyoshou felt a sharp pain in his side. Finally the girl in his embrace faded away into a cloud of ashes. The horrible fate to anyone who met a bount with hungry intentions. Kyoshou looked down at his side to see a knife jutting out from in between some ribs. The black fabric of his shirt was sticky with blood. He took it out of his side and examined the blade then looking down at the wound. In a few seconds the wound closed by influence of the soul he just absorbed. With a smirk, Kyoshou turned on his heel towards the gateway. Finally the dormant portal was now open and to the Soul Society he would proceed. He stepped through the archway as his particles were broken down into spirit energy and he was taken to the world of the dead.
