Silver listened, interested. He didn't utter a word. It was strange how it fit so perfectly with his, though it made Bahamut seem so much more glorious than he was raised to view him as, and it tarnished the Bahamution beliefs. But Silver wasn't a strict follower of Bahamution beliefs; he just took their history at face value, as that was what he was taught. Again, the Doctor was describing Magic as a disease; the scourge of the world seeking to infect all it touched. Moonblade definatly had different views about magic than the doctor was, but everyone was entitled to their own opinion. Besides, its hard to argue with someone who has scientific facts to back themselves up, when you don't. Then they came upon the hatchery. The Dragons there were not like anything he had ever seen. They seemed imeasurably more powerful, and older as well... AND they were also kinda cute. But as soon as he entered the room, that all changed. The way their eyes seemed to track their movement sent bad vibes down his spine. The way they grinned as the store at him only made things worse. He knew what those expressions meant... and it had been eons since a Dragoon was considered prey for a dragon. He didn't even have to hear what resembeled Draconic leaving the majestic creature's mouth. He didn't flich as the hatchlings sniffed his shoes; he stood perfectly still and calm. Dragons could smell fear, and moving would only trigger their instincts to hunt. He didn't need the warning the doctor issued him about not running, though he truly appreciated the heads up. As the adolesence Dragon closed in on him, he stared directly into its eyes. Then, he slowly bowed low before its presence. It was a bow used to show respect, or sometimes even superiority to the reciever. Such a bow would acknowledge that he was no threat to her. Maximos She has said, she wants to see zhe vorld the vay it is now. She vants to see vhat has become of her people. I do not think zhere would be a better person to show her...than a Dragoon. And vhat is a Dragoon, vithout a dragon? Silver neerly tripped over himself when he heard that, or he would if he didn't have dragons swarming near him. That was something he didn't expect in the slightest, to be trusted with an extremly rare breed of dragon with invaluable knowledge. But the decision didn't belong to the doctor; it belonged to the wills of the Dragon and Dragoon. He closed his eyes for a moment, and contemplated this. The doc was no fool; not even he would have gotten away with lying about a dragon in its presence, nor did he have a reason to. Therefore, Silver had little reason to interject this proposal. Besides; he needed a dragon companion to be considered a true dragon. They would have to be bound, or make a pact. Or whatever you wanted to call it. He would have to form a pact with witnesses, and what better witnesses were a roost of dragons and the doctor that created them? If either one of them willed it, the pact would immediatly be canceled. However, when completed, it was almost unbreakable. Silver placed his right hand over his heart and his left hand gently onto the forhead of the Dragon, his eyes still closed. He bagan to murmer in Draconic, which would roughly translate to those who could understand it: "This body to the protection. This heart to the Dragons. This soul to the devotion."It would proably mean little to most people, but it had a lot of meaning to the Dragoons and the Draconic Race alike. To all others, it was probalby mindless ramble. Upon finishing, He would remove his hand from his heart and open his eyes. If succesful, his eyes would glow a bright green for several days. If it failed, well... ((sorry if it sounds stupid. It was kinda rushed, but not too severly. sweatdrop ))

It was kinda rushed, but not too severly. sweatdrop )) ((It doesnt at all actually. xd )) ::A Dragon from her age knew nothing of the Dragoons customs. Infact when she was born, Modern Draconic was about as similar to her language as Jamaican is to English. But thankfully for Silver, she had been trained, taught, The Doctor was versed in Draconic and over the months had trained her in much the way she trained him to speak her language. Unfortunately she hadnt yet learned how to speak it. But she was quite impressed with Silvers respect. As he reached forward, she was cautious at first, but she accepted his hand upon her head. As Silver spoke she gently shut her eyes and quietly observed the ritual. It would be hard to leave the roost, to leave her young behind...but she must. She must see the world. She must know what it has become in her peoples time away...and if the opportunity comes...she must do all she can to rebirth her lost race. When the ritual was over her eyes opened and met Silvers and gazed deep into the green glow which they emitted. It was about then that the tiny ones backed away and continued their playing. There would be a moment of silence, about a minute or so, before the Doctor finally spoke.:: It is truly more amazing to vatch such a ritual zhan to read it. Zhat vas an honor, I zhank you both. Until you both develop some vay of communicating efficiently, I'll need to let you know a few zhings. First...she is hungry. She is hungry now, and hungry for magic. It appears her acceptance of you as a rider has stayed her childrens hand.
...I'll have to send Mary to clean zhe drool.
But, she is used to have her appetite satiated by pure, ancient arcana...to channel zhat sort of magic vill likely kill you. Unlike zhe days of old, majik is in zhe air, zhe vater, everyzhing...you know zhis...but zhis majik iz like me offering you an ant, to feed you after 4 days of starvation. Iz nozhing. It iz very likely she vill try and eat anyzhing magical you encounter...even ozher dragons. Also, my research has discovered zhat zhe pretorean dragon iz a forerunner to many species. Her jaw, iz much like a snake, it haz not limit to its stretch but her skin. Her eyes are able to rotate in two different directions at the zhe same time...and her skin. It iz home to many tiny sacs which release an anti-magic field much like ve release sveat and air from our pores. You vill find it impossible to cast majiks vhile riding her, and vhats more, most spells cast at her vill simply be eaten whole, and make her more hungry. And zhat is all, unless you have anyzhing to add.::He gestured toward her and leans in, only to hear the first word Silver might recognize entirely as it has gone unchanged "No." And then a few more words which would likely seem jarbled. He turned to Silver.:: Mr. Moonblade, anyzhing you vould like to add before we leave?

((Finally... I have break. NO MORE INTERFERANCE!)) Silver felt... odd. It would be hard to explain what he felt at that moment. Re-energized, bewildered, reborn... all those things and more. There was really no way describing it. So, he wouldn't even bother trying. He listened to the doctors words, stilling gazing into the dragon's eyes. Maximos But, she is used to have her appetite satiated by pure, ancient arcana...to channel zhat sort of magic vill likely kill you. He would seriously have to find a filling source of magic to sustain her. He could no longer generate sufficent arcana to feed her properly without risking serious injury or death. It would be a challenge, but he was possitive she could find a food source if neccesary. He was careful to note what she could do in contrast with other dragons he was more familiar with. The antimagic and eyes particularly interested him, but it was irrelevant; she was simply a magnificant being! The communication would be a slight problem, but they would manage. He could slowly teach her to speak Draconic, and eventually learn Ancient Draconic himself. "You've done more than enough for me doctor. I can't possibly thank you enough or repay you. If you ever need anything, anything at all... contact me."There was a grumbling in his abdomen, and Silver looked sheepishly, or as sheepishly as he could with glowing eyes, at the doctor. "Actually, I lie. I wouldn't mind something to eat. I haven't yet eaten."

Silver Moonblade "Actually, I lie. I wouldn't mind something to eat. I haven't yet eaten." Food, vhat a lovely idea!::He paused for a second as the idea of food rolled through his mind. Bacon with egg, coffee, or maybe it was lunch and time for a nice salami and cheese sammich on a hero bun, or perhaps it was dinner, steak maybe?:: Its really too bad ve dont have any.::He said with a smile. It was very funny to him, but he was rather serious.:: Vhile zhe veather outside vould make a vonderful freezer, vhere really arent many grocery store around zhese parts...or cows...or plants...infact I'm razher sure zhese dragons are zhe only living animals for a few miles. Your velcome to try and eat von, but I'm razher sure it vould eat you first.::That was a joke, his eyes squinted behind the 8 different lenses behind his glasses and he even let out a bit of a laugh as he made his way toward the elevator.:: I pump base chemicals and a few sparing nutrients through zhe air vents. Given a few days you'd lose your appetite entirely and learn to functzion.::At just about the elevator door he pressed the call button and as the doors slid open, he spoke.:: Give her time to say goodbye, she'll be ready before you are, and she'll come to meet you. Lets check on your sh--::There was a radio crackle, and a fizzle and then a male voice spoke behind much garbled signal.:: Father. Project AX1 is complete.Ahh, speak of zhe devil, lets go take a look.

((real quick like before I crash))
Silver didn't find the part about eating Dragons humorous in the slightest, which was plainly shown by the expression on his face. But, the chemicals in the vents sure made things conviniant in a place where food wasn't readily availible. Silver supposed he could get suffiecent nutrients before he left. He nodded to the dragon before following the doctor towards the elevator to check on his new ship...
When M4x's crackling voice was head. That really had to stop, as Silver doubted he would ever get used to it. So, wondering what project AX1 was, he followed the doc.
((so unbelievably half-assed. sweatdrop ))

He nodded to the dragon before following the doctor towards the elevator to check on his new ship... When M4x's crackling voice was head. That really had to stop, as Silver doubted he would ever get used to it. So, wondering what project AX1 was, he followed the doc. ((so unbelievably half-assed. sweatdrop )) ::The Doctor would direct the elevator down to the first floor and into the lobby at which point he would step back outside and there it would be. The...Dragon Rider? Yes, but no. It was a ship, it was large and bolted with wooden sides put together with masterful craftsmenship. There were port holes on the second floor and cannon ports, and a set of large sails. But what was odd about this boat was that it was floating...and directly under it was a man with his arms upwards and his hands engulfed in a deep violet color. From the stark red rudder, to the dragons head crest at the front, every bit of it looked hand carved, and in a way it was. Not even a nail or screw in the hull was out of place or angled incorrectly. This left questions as to how this was possible...but the questions were not going to be answered. The Doctor did have some answers to give though.:: You did a good job Maxvell, show me zhe ozher form.::And he did, with a sudden explosion of motion the panels of the ship began to flip and shift, re-organization themselves into a form they better liked. The dragons head emblem stretched and grew as it flipped creating the shape of an actual dragons head. Its sails formed two large sails, and the deck was lost as its panels flipped. For all intents and purposes this no longer was a boat...but a giant metal dragon. And the Doctor spoke again.:: Very good. Now Mr. Moonblade, in zhe primary form you vill find zhat zhe controls are very similar to an average boat, but vith a few modifications, at your verbal command zhe rudders vill retract opening zhe MG87-Booster. Zhis is the rocket-type engine that gives your boat flight. The MG-87 iz very special, it runs on magic. Vhich is to say zhat zhe ambient magic in zhe air and water fuels zhe booster so zhat it vill fly...vithout magic it iz doomed to convential means of travel. Vhich is vhy your ship cannot leave in zhis field under itz own means.
In secondary form is achieved by yet another verbal command, itz hull is made of the same material as your spear...its something of my own making. Combining the lightness of mythril vith zhe toughness of steel. But it is not industructible. It zimply lets you move faster...dont get cocky. Its mouth opens to reveal a napalm cannon, liquid nitrogen, plazmaz, and gravition cannon, your choice. Zhis is to simulate a dragons breath veapons. There is a self destruct mechanizm, but it results in an implosion taking in 1 square mile from the center point. Lastly, full artilery mode.::He said that last sentence loud enough for M4X to hear it. The boat underwent a massive transformation, almost every panel on the ship flipped upwards to reveal a gun or cannon of some sort. Toes of the dragon became missle launchers. Its back became a row of turrets. Its eyes seemed to emit a very large amount of heat as the particle accelerators prepped for firing.:: Vith this....vell I hope you never have to see zhis mode but after firing all artilery zhe ship vill self destruct. ::There was a moment of silence as all the weapons were put away.:: It vill be your job to name it. As it is your job to board it...vith a friend.::She was quiet in the snow but the yet unamed dragon to which Silver had bonded himself, she stepped quietly beside Silver as the boat returned to its normal form and a long slender bridge extended down directly to Silvers feet as it hovered in mid air.:: Go ahead, dont be shy.

As Silver went outside he saw what looked to be... The Dragon's Raider? No, it seemed to be put together with much better craftmenship. At first it seemed odd that the boat was floating in the air... but the he noticed M4X beneath it.
He payed very close attention to the Doctors demenstration, as the information would prove critical. He was genuinly impressed by each form, as the apperd in their respectful order, and was surprized by both the implosion function and Artillery form. He was hoping he would never, ever have to rely on either of those, especially the former. Being crushed by his own ship would not be cool.
Again, the doc had seemed to surpass his expectaions (which would be a lie, becuase he originally expected to be thrown out on his a** in the freezing cold, and thus had no expectations). He was treated in higher regard than any guest could have hoped, and not as a thing to be disgusted of. Well, so long as he stayed away from the majority of doc's "children".
It vill be your job to name it. As it is your job to board it...vith a friend.
Silver gave the Dragon a galnce and nodded as the bridge extended down to his feet. As the doctor spoke to him again, he turned to give him a bow of gratitude. And then, he slowly entered the ship.

Now it had been quite awhile since young Madison had been there and she was infact getting rather hungry. She didn't feel like waiting for Mary to get her something or what not, so she decided to begin her quest. It wasn't much of a quest but it was still one that she would enjoy very much. A tall glass of Milk or even possibly Carrot Juice and some chocolate chip cookies.
The young rabbit bounced alittle ways down the halls with a skip in her step towards the elevator like contraption. With an innocent smile she pressed the rather large red button for the lower floors. Within secounds the doors began to creak open and she slid between the openings to head to a lower ground. The only problem was which floor she felt like investigating, there were ever so many. As she tapped her foot and looked at the buttons she could on think on how she had left Karden's side as he rested in his hospital bed. Just then, like a bolt of lightening an idea struck her. She figured she'd press the 1st floor button and begin to search from the button up. It was ingenius, well...ingenius for a rabbit.
Slowly, the small room moved as though it was being pushed down by a mighter force. After a few moments she reached the button floor where the doors opened once more to reveal darkness. Swallowing her breath she began to walk foreward searching for a fridge. As she moved she quickly passed two large doors where a noticeable dent had been made from the other side.
She soon began her walk, but her attention was caught by her ears. They had picked up light knocking sounds from the outside. Her body turned to face the large doors as she cocked her head to the right. Curiousity filled her as she walked slowly closer. Finally she cracked the door opened just enough to poke only her eyes over to peer at the outside world. Her ruby eyes gazed out shyly, it had been quite awhile since she went outside and yet everything looked the same. Black sky and white ground. Timidly she countinued to look about till she reached the view of the person standing there.
"Hello?"

Ryugi jumped at the familiar voice. He still couldn't quite place it in his mind, since it had indeed been a long time since he had spent time with this particular individual, but the tone and pitch of the voice rang in his head like a gong of familiarity. He raised an eyebrow, shivering, and spoke. H-hello there. Do you h-happen to live here?

Ryugi Kazamaru H-hello there. Do you h-happen to live here? She thought for a moment and wiggled her nose as she gazed at the visitor. He seemed familuar but hey, she knew alot of people. "I guess so....I'm not sure..." replied Madi as she soon shortly sneezed. Her rabbit ears dropped to the sides for a moment as though it was as part of her chin length black hair. "Besides! The Doctor told me I shouldn't talk to strangers." Madi's tone fell upon to the sound of a serious young lady as she always was. But shortly her eyes shoftened and she looked harder at this stranger...or should we say a old friend. "....Ryugi? Is that you?"

DING!! Ryugi's mind lit up, no longer in the dark as to who this person was. This was none other than his good friend Madison, whom he hadn't seen in ages. He couldn't figure WHY she would be out here in Guldor of all places, but he could always ask that later. Right now, all he wanted to do was chat with her.
M-madi?! Is that you?! What the heck are you doing out here? Do you live here?

There was only a simple reply, the classic Madi giggled. It was shortly fallowed by a tackle hug as Madi clinged onto him leaving the building. She was not feeling the cold as usual and in her usual attire, her black skirt and top fallowed by her red jacket that was paper thin. A huge smile formed on her face as she looked over him wiggling her tail about.
"It's so good to see you, Ryugi!" Smiled Madi as she completely avoided his question. She shortly noticed that he was getting rather cold, the sensation of fear filled her.
"Areyoualright?Doyouneedmedicatreatment?Youlookthin, maybeyoushouldhaveacookie!" Now her words just seemed mumbled up with exictment and worriedness as she began to hop around him in circles.

Ryugi laughed.
No no Madi, I'm ok. Just a l-little cold is all. I was following something here, but I can't seem to feel it anymore. So, I guess there really isn't any need for me to be here anymore. What about you?

She finally had decided to stop her bouncing and looked at him. Thoughts had raced through her mind as she tried to remember why exactly she was located in this area. But she couldn't seem to get passed the memory of the pirate that shattered her heart. Her face fell into a saddened look but was quickly broken as she began to speak happily.
"I don't remember!" Giggled young Madison brightly, she only seemed to be happy knowing that she was now here with Ryugi and she was no longer alone.
