Shiva winced at the feeling of ton's of rocks falling on her but shook it off and made her way out of the fallen rock's. Looking back over at her trainer she felt a sense of pride that he didn't seem to be affected by the bitting wind. Feeling more determined then befor she turned her gaze back to the battle.
"Shiva use Ice Ball." Dante comanded hopping that the ice would do more damage to the Aerodactyl while the ice would help protect the pokemon some from the Aerodactyl's powerful attack's. He watched cheek's flushed from the cold, as Shiva rolled up into a ball and a layer of ice covered her body as she started to roll at the ancient pokemon at ever increasing speed's

"You were awesome too!" Kasiya said to Flannery, looking very impressed. "I've never seen a Flamethrower that intense before!" Houndoom gave a nod, looking fairly smug. Hiro returned the respectful look, bowing his head slightly.
"Let's just say fighting fire with fire isn't always the wisest soloution," Flannery winked, recalling her Pokemon.
Kasiya did the same, looking around for Mike. "Hey, don't run off by yourself!" Kasiya yelled after him, clipping Hiro's Pokeball to her belt. At least I know the basic layout of this place, she thought, although she had no intentions of saying it. "We'd better keep him out of trouble," Kasiya said to Flannery, who nodded, and the two girls ran after their friend.

Mike skidded to a halt upon hearing the two girl's footsteps behind him. "Hehe, sorry I just get excited a bit." He smiled sheepishly, a nervous laugh escaping. "To be honest I have no idea where I'm going, and am about to just start making noise so they can find us."
The boy weighed his options, hoping one of the ladies would interject with some words of wisdom.

"Well, I think first and foremost, we should find Nina," Kasiya said, glancing from Flannery to Mike, then back go Flannery again. "She could be in trouble and need our help. I know you said she's different, Mike, but the Nina we know and love is still in there. She needs us." Kasiya put her hands in her pocket, and felt the smooth TM disc she'd recieved from Mai. She pulled it out and looked at it. "Brick Break," she read, and smiled. "I know just who to teach you to." She quickly held up Digger's Pokeball and released the Sandslash, teaching him the powerful fighting move. The Sandslash looked around, fear in his eyes, and he hid behind Kasiya's legs. "Don't be frightened, Digger," Kasiya said soothingly. "These guys are friends. Right?" She smiled at Flannery.
"Yeah, I don't see why not," the gym leader replied, running her hand through her red hair. "But you're right. We should find Nina, before-"
"-the same thing happens to her that happend to Sabrina," Kasiya finished.
"Yes," Flannery nodded, and looked at Mike. "Should we split up? We can cover more ground that way."
"We should stick together," Kasiya said, scratching her chin. "I have an idea of where we should go."

Ryka looked up at Jaeshan. "Hehe.. It's hard to explain, but it feels like the water gives me strength." She turned her gaze back out to the water. "I know, it sounds really dumb. But.. I just feel stronger around it, that's all. ..Er, just forget I said anything. Sorry about that.." She said with a small smile. Ryka's gaze averted to a land mass, barely visable. "Look, there's Vermillion! We must be getting really close."

"Yep, really close," repeated Jaeshan, and moments later the train pulled into the station. "We're here," he said, calling Mightyena into his Pokeball. The dark Pokemon wasn't very fond of strangers. "Milady?" Jaeshan grinned as he stood up, holding a hand out for her. "If you say water makes you feel stronger, perhaps you should get yourself a water-type Pokemon or two." Even though she said to forget it, he couldn't.

Kilik's head perked up slightly when he heard the sound of the train pulling in. Another one? he thought, turning his head toward the entrance of the Pokemon Center. He lifted his bottle and drained the last of the grape flavored water from it. Kilik picked up the Egg and set it in his lap, feeling it wiggle once. Weezing floated over to the trash bin (Kilik had recently set it back up) and knocked it over, spilling what little of its contents were left onto the floor. He quickly started to much them all up. The boy sighed. Flareon wore another disgusted look. Kilik stared into the empty glass bottle and then back at the door of the Pokemon Center.

Ryka took Jaeshan's hand, blushing a bit as she did so. "Thank you. And you know, that's not a bad idea. Maybe after the battles, I can go looking for one." She said with a grin. The two of them walked off of the train and into the small city. Ryka breathed in the salty fresh air. "I miss the smell of saltwater. It's very calming." She stated, fiddling with the cherry blossom that was about to fall out of her hair.

The flying Pokemon winced in pain as the frosty attack collided with chilling force. "Aero!" It shrieked as another Rock Slide attack slammed into the Sealeo. Winona wore a small frown, knowing that her Pokemon was almost gone.
The hail subsided.

The ice didn't really protect Shiva that much when another Rock Slide attack hit causing the Ice Ball attack to be disrupted and Shiva to stop a tired look settling on the seal pokemon's face. Knowing that Shiva wasn't going to last much longer the high attack power of the Aerodactyl was doing a lot of damage. "Shiva use Aurora Beam again." Dante comanded hoping that it would take down the other pokemon befor Shiva got hit again.
Shiva managed to push herself up and open her mouth and unleashed another powerful icey beam.

"Back in Vermilion," Jaeshan said, sighing and looking around. "Let's go to the Pokemon Center first," he suggested. "That way we can make sure our Pokemon are fully ready to take on Lt. Surge." He glanced around, gaining his bearings, and lead the way. "This is gonna be awesome," the boy grinned as the two walked.

"Sounds like plan." Ryka said with a smile. As soon as they started walking, they were at the Pokemon Center. "Yeah, I really can't wait. So.. did you want to go first? Or do you want me to?" She asked as the doors slid open.

"Doesn't matter to me," Jaeshan replied, walking up to the counter and handing over his Pokeballs. "Just as long as I get to face him some time this year." He laughed, and leaned against the counter, glancing around the Pokemon Center, finding himself inadvertantly staring at the Weezing in the corner, muching on garbage.

Kilik looked over at the Pokemon Center's doors as they opened. A girl and boy, both with blonde hair, entered. Flareon looked up as well, and Weezing stopped eating garbage to pay attention. The boy had a Mightyena at his side, the girl had an Espeon. He looked as the boy stared at his Weezing. "Hey!" he called at the Pokemon, "Cut that out!" he demanded. He stood up (placing the egg on the table, of course), held up a Pokeball and retreated the Weezing inside of it. A sigh escaped him as he bent down and cleaned up the mess for a second time. He ran a hand through his hair.

Ryka nodded with a little giggle. "I promise, I won't take that long." She too noticed the Weezing in the corner eating garbage. A boy with black hair, most likely its trainer, stepped down to pick up the garbage. Ryka quickly gave Nurse Joy her pokemon, and walked over to the boy, and started picking up some scattered trash. "Here, let me help you." She said with a smile.
