Nex nodded and accepted her hand to help him up. Once he was standing he noticed that he was about Devon's height and a few inches taller than Hallie. He followed Devon and Hallie towards the cafeteria quietly, not sure of what to say. He had never been social and therefore he wasn't really sure how to act or what to say or even what to do. Hopefully he would just pick up on it and hopefully it would happen quickly.

Kana blinked a couple times, shifting nervously in place. "Well, umm... I forgot," she admitted quietly. "But I haven't even felt hungry at all!" she added a little louder. She thought it was probably because she'd been lonely, and had been thinking about other things that were quite different than eating. Food hadn't even popped into her head until just now. But she certainly wasn't going to mention that to him. Instead she watched him uncertainly, feeling a little guilty. She definitely didn't want to revert back to her old self. That wouldn't be good at all... "Myabe we should go eat," she murmured.

Hallie smiled and noticed her hand was still in Nex's hand while they were walking. She blushed then moved her hand quickly looking the other way giggling. Devon turned around then looked at Hallie and smiled. "I'm sorry Nex." She told him and smiled walking next to him.

Koichi watched her, wondering what was going through her mind; he, however, had made a vow not to tresspass unless utterly needed. He smiled down at her, hearing her say 'maybe we should go eat.' "Indeed," he responded, "we should go eat. I was going to suggest the same thing," he winked to her. In one switf movmenthe put an arm around her shoulders and the other around the lower part of her back and made an attempt to carry her in a bridal-style type way.
ll wasn't sure if you'd like that or not, so i didn't just pick you up xD ll

Nex hadn't even noticed their hands were still touching because her warm hands felt nice against his cold ones. He just felt the relief to have something warm after such a long time. "Sorry," he muttered as he put his hands in his pockets and looked over at her. He wanted to tell her that he didn't mind but he wasn't sure how that would go over so he just kept quiet. He thought about reaching over and taking her hand but quickly decided against it.

Hallie smiled then looked back over at him and moved alittle closer. Devon just kept walking as the two behide him where walking slower and slower every step they took. Hallie looked over at Devon and back at Nex. "heehee...It's ok..." She said with a giggle after he said sorry to her.

Kana smiled at him as her head bobbed up and down, but froze when she felt him grabbing her. She blinked several times, and realized too late what he was doing. She squirmed slightly at first, and then froze since she didn't want to be dropped. "I-I can walk on my own!" she cried, eyes closed as her cheeks flushed bright red. "I can!" Though, her hand was clutching at his shirt a little nervously. She never was too fond of being carried around. She hadn't really changed all that much in regards to a lot of things. She still overreacted to the tiniest things and flushed over nothing at all.

Nex blushed as she stepped closer to him but for some reason he didn't move away like he normally would have. A look came to his face that was the closest to a smile as he had ever gotten as he looked at her and then back down at the ground. After a few more minutes they had stopped and he watched as Devon walked away.

Devon continued walking and then was out of site. He knew that Hallie could stay bye her self and not be scared or anything because she lived by her self for ten years, plus she had a friend with her.
Hallie stood there as Devon walked away she waved to him and he nodded back as a bye. She looked at Nex and smiled. "We...stopped.." She looked around as her feet stood still as if they had been glued to the ground. She giggled then pulled her dress down alittle bit because it was riding up. Her long brown wavey hair blew in the wind of her wings badding back and forth.

Koichi just laughed as he started towards the cafeteria, still carrying her. "I know you can walk; I never doubted you for a second. I just feel like carrying you, that's all," he said, smiling broadly as he made his way. "I mean, come now Kitty! How long has it been since I've been able to do this?" he teased, recalling the oh-so-wonderful memories... although he pretty much forced all those, but that was besides the pint.

Kana stared up at him, pouted for a few seconds, and then suddenly laughed. "I guess so," she grinned, fangs baring slightly. Her face was still red, but she was sucessfully ignoring it. It had been quite a while, and she really had missed him. She paused for a second, and then spoke thoughtfully, "How are Kazan and Kaze?" she asked curiously.

Nex sighed and watched as Devon disappeared into the school. Then he looked back at Hallie who was persistently pulling her dress down while giggling and just staring at the ground. People here were just so different than what he was used to. All he had ever known was cruelty, abuse, and forced love from his mother and his father was never around to be much of anything. Now the only people he had met were just so kind and friendly the contrast was incredible. "Umm...yeah. I like to look at the stars when they first start to show and the sky is still such a lovely color. Its much different than what they look like later on, much prettier," he said as he looked down, embarassed. He had lived without stars for most of his life when he lived in hell and ever since hehad come to the surface world he had been fixated with them. His mother thought it was odd for one such as himself to care about such things but she never said much to him about it, she only helped the rumors along. "You didn't have to stop if you didn't want to," he said as he looked up with a hopeful expression. She didn't have to stay but he would actually like her to.

Hallie looked up at the stars in a gaze then looked at Nex with a blush. "Thats sweet." She told him smiling and blushing still. She wanted to stay with him for some reason even though they had just met like a half an hour ago. She looked up to the sky. "It's ok I wanted to stop." She said still looking at the sky. She kept looking at the sun then looked at him for a few seconds trying to make eye contact with him. She smiled then sat down on the ground for some reason.
Hallie was thinking about the stars and what Devon was doing. She then looked at Nex trying to make eye contact once again while she was siting down with her hair over her face and her wings spread apart.

Koichi looked down at her, thinking about her question. "Last time I saw them," he started, looking back up, "was when we were at Ria. I asked Kaze if he wanted to leave with me, because I was gunna go traveling for a while, but he refused. He said he had to stay with Kazan... Havn't talked or seen them since. They were well last time I saw them, though," he grinned, wondering if that was answer enough.
ll to the cafeteria! or at least, that's where i'll be next. ll

"Thanks for staying here with me," Nex muttered as he sat down a couple feet away from her. At first he only looked up at the fading colors in the sky and the slowly appearing stars but then he felt her eyes upon him. He looked towards her and took in her appearance closely for the first time since he had met her. She had long dark hair that covered part of her face, an olive complexion, and beautiful wings. She really was quite pretty. Then he looked at her again but this time he met her gaze. Normally he would have looked away but this time he just couldn't. Her light purple eyes held too much for him to just avert his own gaze.
