Renachan101 We played the Rise and Fall of Rome which consisted on Chisles and Stone, Catacomes, and Great Fire and Pagen Dance. It was a kick a** show. Hey, was your show by Key Poulan? Our school did it about 4 years ago (before I came to HS), and I think one of the parts was Catacombs. This year's show was The World of MC Escher by Key Poulan. Ascending and Descending, Drawing Hands, and Mobius Strip. I have the header from my website in my sig, that's the Drawing Hands part of it, one of our sets was supposed to look like two hands, but it's sorta hard to do that with a band to form fingers, so our "hands" were pointy. XD

So jealous of some of you guys! lol Our school basically does only Jazz shows, as we are famous for our Jazz. Must be doing something right if we're 5 year LMBA class champions! (Lakeshore Marching Band Association) Anyways, this year's show was "Nightscapes": Harlem Nocturne, Hollywood Nocturne, and Seize the Night. We won championships with it, and it was so fun to play! Got to play Birdland last year, and that is my favorite song thus far. No word as to what next year's show will be, but I shall edit when I know! smile

ours is "Jules Verne" it was hard b/c we flew all over the field, with hard music, fortunalty our director decided that the clarinets and saxs could march and play super fast chromatic run(16th notes), but of course by that time, we couldnt breath, it was fun, hopefully they'll do something else like not a tribute to Jules Verne. O Well I am a senior, but my sister will be a freshmen, on melaphone!

Bands of America.
We have a TOB here too, with 25 schools competing, but there's like 3 classes, it's not a WBA competition, but a NCBA (North California) one, so it's less stressed because our marching band director and instructors don't think it's considered "legit" because it's not WBA.

we here in payson utah have TOB here too, It's called the Nebo Tournament of Bands. We did Riverdance this year. It was alot of fun, with seven different songs and a reprise of one of the first two, I don't remember which one. We went on tour this year to Disneyland, and it's my senior year. I loved it. Marching season is over though crying crying crying . I don't like it, but I get to repeat my senior year. so I'm lovin it. 4laugh 4laugh YES exclaim exclaim twisted (Trumpet section leader in Marching band, French Horn section leader in Concert band and pit leader for winter drumline) Next senior year is going to be great. hehehehehehehe twisted

Our marching show for '05 was An American Portrait. It was pretty cool. It included American Overture, American Salute, and Amazing Grace. We did really well with it at OMEA contest (1 at state and regionals) and a few other ones.

Ours was Jekyll and Hyde. I was dressed in a white victorian gown, the other two drum majors wore a dark "I'm a bar whore" outfit, and a two different sided tux.
