Okay since I'm slightly new, I'm going to answer all the questions that have been asked so far. Er...I hope that's okay.

__ Which Medieval/Fantasy Video Game is your absolute favorite? You can name more than one if you wish. Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. That IS my favorite game...and I guess it's technically fantasy, so it counts. ^_^ Following are FF Tactics, FFVII, and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

Hm...*thinks* Well in terms of fantasy, which I believe includes Final Fantasy, I'd have to say Cid Highwind from FFVII. ^_^" He's the only one I can think of right now. I have favorite characters, but they're not from fantasy or midieval stuff. crying

__ 1)What is the most common fantasy subject you hear about the most? By this I mean, on most days, what is it you hear about the most that relates to fantasy and/or medieval stuff? It can be a thing or a concept or something like that. Well, my boyfriend Greg talks about D&D a lot, so he discusses a bunch of that sort of stuff with me. And when I have a question pertaining to one of my stories, which count as fantasy and some medieval qualities, I get a bunch of ideas and such from him. ^_^
__ 2) If you could have a familiar of any type, which type would it be and why? I'd like a mouse. XD A white one or a brown one. I think that'd be awesome.

__ If you had the chance to live in any kind of medieval residence, what would it be? Definitely a castle. I'd make my own. Secret pathways, hidden doors, towers, courtyards, gardens, guest houses, bridges, stairs, grand halls...all the sort. XD I would design the whole thing.
Question 8: Page 10 - 3 questions:
__ 1) What, if anything, would you like to see made into a great medieval/fantasy movie with your favorite actors? I don't really know what I'd want made into a movie, but I do know who the actors would be. If anything, I'd love for my stories to become movies one day...although it'd be a CG movie and the voice actors would be my favorite actors. ^_^
__ 2) If you could have a copy of the script of any fantasy movie out there, which one would it be and why? Willow. ^_^
__ 3) If you could design your own sword what would it look like? Okay well unfortunately I don't have any pictures of it...it would be white with a scimitar shaped blade, and at the hilt it would have things that stick out like feathers, but are part of the blade...kinda.

__ 1) How many fantasy and/or medieval era videogames can you name? Final Fantasy I-XII plus Tactics, Tactics Advance, and Crystal Chronicles, Elder Scrolls I-IV, Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross, Legend of Mana, Secret of Mana, Fable, Thief, Spyro the Dragon (I count that as fantasy...dragons. XD), Phantasy Star, Okami, aand...I think that's all...
__ 2) Is there (or was there) a fantasy movie or game you have dedicated a lot of your time to? Which one? Elder Scrolls, both Morrowind and Oblivion. Those games are obsessive. ^_^
Question 10: Page 12 - 3 questions:
__ 1) When was the first time you knew you liked/loved fantasy or medieval things? Do you remember? I can't remember but it was a LOONG time ago...I was really little. ^_^
__ 2) How many fantasy and/or medieval movies can you name? Willow, Elizabeth: The Golden Years, The Other Boleyn Girl, Legend, The Sword and the Stone, The Hunchback of Notre Dame (I'm talking the Disney version XD), Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Cinderella, Snow White, Advent Children, Peter Pan, Braveheart, Man in the Iron Mask, Practical Magic...That's all I can think of.
__ 3) Is there an epic movie from the fantasy genre that you can't get enough of watching? Which one is it? It would probably have to be Willow. I always love watching it. ^_^
Question 11: Page 13 - 3 question:
__ 1) What's the best medieval/fantasy fan fiction you've read so far and, who wrote it? I don't read fanfiction...I'm sorry. crying
__ 2) Have you ever cos-played as a medieval/fantasy character? Well I haven't gone to conventions or anything but I want to. However for Halloween, I've dressed up in several fantasy themes, and this year I'm going to go as a Final Fantasy Tactics Black Mage. ^_^
__ 3) If you could live in a castle, which in the world would you choose and why? Hm...I don't know the names but there are a few I saw in a calendar (can't find it right now) that I'd pick...they were either in Germany or Scotland. ^_^

__ If you were able to actually meet yer favorite fictional character. Who would it be and why? Well since you said fictional, I'd have to say Naked Snake (a.k.a. Big Boss) from MGS 3. But if you meant fantasy, then I'd have to say probably Faris from FFV. XD She's my favorite character at least from that game, and seems like the one who I'd be most interested to see.

__ How many fantasy/medieval concepts have you seen with primates in them? Well...technically people are considered primates...but if you mean literally monkies then...I don't think I've seen any...^_^"

__ 1) Have you ever seen a christmas movie having fantastic or even medieval type elements? I can't say as I have.

__ 3) If you could create a medieval/fantasy type weapon, how would you go about it? Or, what kind would you like to make if you were a blacksmith? Well I'd take the sword from question #8 and make it so that when you slash, it'd create a gust of wind in that direction depending on the angle. If I were a blacksmith, I'd make a really cool looking suit of armor accented with blues and golds, with lots of elegant points and spikes. ^_^
Question 16: Page 18 - a 3 in one question:
__ 1. Which fantasy animal is yer favorite? A ninetails.
__ 2. Which real life animal is yer favorite? Argh too many to chose...I love all animals. ^_^ I would have too many favorites. But I suppose if I absolutely had to pick...possibly mice. ^_^
__ 3. If you had one of each, what would you name them and why? The ninetails would be Lara, and the mouse would be Panzina.

__ 1) If you were granted a fantastic ability to step into another world via a painting or portrait, which famous painting would you choose to get into and why? There's one on the wall in my house...I have no idea what it's called but it's a painting of a plant in a walkway, and it just looks like such a cool place to be and reminds me of the ruins level of Legend of Mana. ^_^

2) What music, if any, would you have play in the background? Well, I have plenty of fantasy/new age, medieval, and anime music to use...but too many to list. ^_^"
Question 22: (page 24)
If you were given a magical, flying ship for a present; how would you name it and why? Also, where would you go in it? I'd name it the Gold Lantern...since my pirate ship is the Blue Lantern, so I might as well keep with the color scheme thing going on. ^_^ I'd probably fly first to Europe and fly around there and look at stuff, then Japan, then Egypt, then Alaska, and finally the Grand Canyon XD
Question 23: (page 25)
If you lived in a technology free world, but you had some fantasy equivalent things, what do you think they'd have to be like to qualify as equally addictive in order for you to keep them around? Oh, and what would those things be? Well for one they'd need something similar to an MP3 or an iPod for my music...magic two way mirrors instead of telephones, some sort of magic message sender instead of like AIM or something...other than that I think I'd be okay. ^_^
Question 24: (page 26)
If you could have a fantasy item as a Gaia item, which would it be and why? Probably like...a cloak with some sort of enchantment. Ooh a Cloak of Enchantment, in several different colors and with several different enchantments. I should totally do an avatar edit. XD
Question 25:
What is it that fascinates you the most about your favorite fantasy or medieval concept? Is it just one thing? Feel free to elaborate, just don't go nuts with a really long explanation. I like the concept of magic and technology mixed together...like in my stories. They have cool high tech equipment, but they use magic for everyday uses as well, sometimes the two together.
Question 26:
If you could be one person from history for one day ONLY--midnight to midnight--who would it be, and why? I'd say Queen Elizabeth. XD After watching the movie about her, I was like enthralled by her. She seemed so great and awesome.
Extra point question: if you could change history during those 24 hours, what would you change--and why? Think through the ramifications before you reply... *grin* Well, she was so great anyway that I don't think there's anything I'd need to change. XD

I would have to say magic. Always loved it always will. That and being able to do anything you want in life. The only thing holding you back is your self. These days you have to have credentials or the right level of education to do ought.

I'm not really sure what the world was called but it was stuck in a state of constant winter. They did have magic on that planet though which worked out well for me seeing as I love magic.

I actually don't usually remember my dreams unless they're really, really weird or one of the recurring dreams I have from time to time (the one about walking on air is the most common one). Oblivion(: Shivering Isles)! Definitively. Plus Diablo II and Age of Empires II. Recently I've come to enjoy Moung & Blade and The Witcher, but they're not favourites yet.
I'm not sure if you can term them as video games, but seeing as I don't have any kind of PS or Nintendo or whatever...

Allanon from Terry Brooks' Shannara series. I actually cried when he died. First (and last) time I've ever done that. No idea why I like him so well. Probably remnants of childhood fantasies. I read those books when I was nine or so, after all.
There's also Silk/Kheldar from David Eddings' Belgariadand Malloreon. In fact, I like several characters from Eddings' books, but I think Silk is my absolute favourite. Childhood fantasies again.
Achmed from Elizabeth Haydon's books. He's just - well - cool. Not to mention he reminds me of one of my own main characters.
Who else... Voldemort! Don't ask why. eek
Damn, my favourites are all males. Why?
I like a lot of the characters from Raymond Feist's books. I don't really have any favourites, though.

1) Cloud Strife. I've never played those games! I have watched FF7: Advent Children, but that's it. I know some of the names, but have no idea if that's their full name.

I'm serious. Very often, fantasy is all about war or some kind of conflict. Usually it's Good vs. Evil as well.
Not to mention magic. Conversations after school often consist of, "I wish I could just teleport right back home just like that."

1) A few. Beowulf, all those friggin' FFs, Medieval, Two Worlds, Oblivion, Medieval: Total War, Medieval II: Total War, Dungeon Siege, Dungeon Siege II, Harry Potter and all-that-stuff, Morrowind, Kingdom Under Fire, Age of Empires, Age of Mythology, The Witcher, Mount & Blade, Neverwinter Nights, Baldur's Gate, Blood Magic, Demonstone, I DON'T WANT TO NAME ANY MORE.
2) Several, at least when it comes to games. Whenever I find a new, interesting game, I spend several days playing it almost non-stop. I don't dedicate as much time to films, although I've done a couple of LotR marathons.

1) Don't remember. I've always loved it? I spent a lot of time playing Age of Empires II and Age of Mythology when I was small, so that might have something to do with it, not to mention my fascination with anything Egyptian. I've always preferred old stuff to modern things, though I probably wouldn't be able to survive without a computer and MP3-player of some kind.
2) That too. Lord of the Rings, The Golden Compass, Dungeons & Dragons, Reign of Fire, Labyrinth, FF7: Advent Children, The Prestige, Mononoke-Hime, The Wizard of Oz, Shrek, Anastasia, Eragon, Spirited Away, Kingdom of Heaven, Beowulf, Beowulf & Grendel, Narnia, The Mists of Avalon, King Arthur, Howl's Moving Castle, Pirates of the Caribbean, blah-blah-blah.

1) Fan fiction... I mostly read Inuyasha and Labyrinth fan fiction. I'm not sure if there's one I think is THE BEST among those. It varies. Actually, I've read several fics that were really good, but I don't remember the titles or anything. So annoying.
2) Nope.
3) No idea. Maybe a Japanese one? Sliding doors are fun.

There's a lot of fantasy/medieval concepts with primates. None with them being like humans, though.

1) Maybe. Can't remember its name.
2) Artemis Entreri. He's an assassin. I like assassins. I've only read a couple of Salvatore's books and Artemis appeared in one of them. 'Nuff said.
3) Wasn't there a similar question earlier? Anyhow, a kris would be nice. Then I can pick up someone's skull, paint fancy patterns all over my body, and run around pretending to be a necromancer.

1) Good question. Do sphinxes count? They're pretty. Or maybe a hydra...
2) Cats and tortoises.
3) The cat I would name Loki. He's something of a trickster "god" in Norse mythology and I like him. The sphinx would probably just be Sphinx. The tortoise, Kame-san. Kame = tortoise in Japanese, and san = Mr/Mrs/Ms.

I'd probably make a documentary about the hydra. Show how it's depicted in mythology, its role, how it might be created out of people's imagination after seeing fossils from a dinosaur. Try to find the bloody thing, if that's possible. Something like that.

No idea. I think Gaia already has all I feel like having...

What is it that fascinates you the most about your favorite fantasy or medieval concept? Is it just one thing? Feel free to elaborate, just don't go nuts with a really long explanation.
The psychological possibilities. Magic. The very idea that you can create your own living, breathing world where the fight isn't necessarily between the good and the bad, like the world against terror. All that can be done in a fantasy world...! I don't really have a favourite concept, I just find fantasy and the Middle Ages in general to be incredibly fascinating. It's just... fantastic. There are almost no limits to what you can do! Okay, I'll stop now.
Question 26:
If you could be one person from history for one day only --midnight to midnight-- who would it be, and why?
Too many alternatives. I'd like to be King Arthur or one close to him just to find out the truth about him, but I'd also like to be one of the Pharaohs of Egypt to see how it was to be a god-king. It would also be interesting to be a historical figure from China to get a better picture of how they lived during this or that period, or someone from Scandinavia before 1000 AD. There's so many things I could research that way!

God knows what planets I've visited during my dreams. All I know is that very often, wherever I am is not Earth or is some place that might or might not be Earth. Usually monsters of some kind, good or bad (or both), appear. Sometimes there's magic, sometimes it's merely medieval, other times it's more sci-fi. It varies.

I remember one dream where my grandpa had built a homemade space ship and we visited stuff in the galaxy...and a really tiny planet with a huge gravitational pull...but other than that...not much I can remember.
Or, if I have a dream about my stories, then they most likely take place on the planet I made up for them...but the description of that would be waaaaaaay to long to put all in one post. XD

I have wondered which magic ability would be the worst/best/strongest/easiest ability to warp to the other side and the most devastating if it were. What would be your opinion? Or is it just the loss of a strong character that would be the most devastating to one side or the other? I had a dream once of being in a world where magic reigned and my gift was warped by the other side, but I wasn't - so I couldn't use it without it being subverted by the other side to do the opposite of what I had wanted it to do. I have no idea of whether or not I had "named" the world in my dream - only what a nightmare it was to be so frustrated.
It was sort of like a dream I had once where I did things that I would NEVER do in real life! (grin)
