Shinja quickly grabbed Maki and embraced her tightly. "There will be no torture...I'll always protect you, Maki." Shinja looked into her eyes before releasing her and grabbing the Kusanagi from the ground. "Whoever is there, whoever is causing all of this, show yourselves NOW!!!"

Back in reality, the blue-clad mindslave of Sett named Tenshin stepped into Fira's room, looking at her in the eyes from the doorway. the mass of blue electricity that crackled around his hand suddenly multiplied in size as he grew closer to her.
The menacing look in his eyes seemed to make everything in the room turn black as he inched closer to Fira, blue sparks flying wildly.

Looking around Zetsuei felt that something wasnt right in the ship. He felt a familiar energy coming from within the ship. Setting the ship on autopilot and stamnding up he began to walk to the elevator.
"Kyana, something isnt right in the ship. I think we have a guest"

Maki closed her eyes enjoying Shinja's embrace and looked around for her own weapon. "Foool. Weapons have no meaning here," the voice called out followed by the cries of an infant in the distance."Someone else was just here and left, interferring with my rebirth. So shall we play a game while he's gone?"
As the room grew brighter as a meadow appeared. "Hmmmm. Let's see who's memory is this shall we?" The voice cackled as Maki and Shinja stood on a pier. A young man was holding an infant, he was dressed in a peasant's robe as a crying woman kissed the child goodbye."STOP IT! THESE ARE MINE!" Maki shouted watching. "You have no right!" "AHHHHHH....But I do...he he he he. Mother."In the distance a echoing roar as a dragon appeared over the hills, the couple with child ran along the pier to a small boat waiting for them. Suddenly the woman let's go of the man's hand and stood still. Smiling as she mouthed the words 'I love you!' then the dragon dove into the pier taking her to the bottom with him.

Startled Fira tripped and fell backwards landing in a sitting position, almost coaking on a grape at the same time before she asked in a shocked voice, "Who are you?" She looked down at one of man's hands with the blue sparks and swiftly took to her feet, her cane forming from flames in her hand before she took a step back, "An...and what do you want?"

"Liuwella! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" The man shouted holding a crying infant, then ran for a ship at the end of the pier. A strange looking man was waiting for him as they took off quickly. Suddenly as it began it ended then played a different scene. The man obviously a father tying off a small row boat to the pier with the infant sleeping inside as a dragon roared above them with a metallic contraption attached to its skull and dove into the pier taking the father into the water with it lifting the boat and sending it flying into the woods nearby. "Stop it! Who are you to see my memories!" Maki shouted as she continued to watch as a gypsy caravan finding the crying infant pressed under the seat of the rowboat hanging upside down in the tree branches. "Just .... stop."

"Maki...What is this?"
Noticing Maki's reaction to the memories, Shinja immediately rushed to her side and embraced her once more. "Maki...it's alright..."

Meanwhile, things weren't alright.
Tenshin stopped in his tracks as Fira's staff appeared out of fire in her hand. He slowly looked at her, then her staff, then finally his own hand, still crackling with energy. Moments after he laid eyes upon his own hand, the crackling energy manifested in the palm of his hand and soon after, a giant scythe, easily twice as large as Tenshin himself, appeared within his hand. He then slowly turned his head to Fira before swinging the scythe towards her mid-section.

Fira was horrified when the scythe was swung right at her and quickly she pushed her cane forward in the path of the swiping scythe. Ambers flew off the cane as the blade of the scythe swiped against it. Fira was pushed back against the wall from the force of the scythe scraping against the cane, leaving behind a scratch mark.
Looking back up at the Tenshin, Fira warned in a demanding voice as fire formed in her hand, "Get away!" She suddenly swiped her hand forward senting out a wave of blue fire towards the man. It wasn't searing hot fire, but it was just enough to hurt him if he was hit.
Then suddenly Fira darted towards her cloak and hat resting on the bed posts. Quickly she grabbed both of them before she ran towards the door, trying to get past Tenshin who blocked her path.

In the most emotionless manner possible, Tenshin reached out and suffocated the blue flame with his bare hand. As he did so, however, Fira was darting towards the door. He blinked slowly before turning to her and extending his hand out.
From the palm of his hand shot the same blue wave of fire that Fira had thrown at him before.

Sensing the familar energy of Tenshin, Zetsuei ran to the elevator and rode it to the cabin deck. Exiting the elevator he ran to where he sensed the energy from.
"Tenshin, I know your here"
He said as he took his gun from his holster and pulled back the three hammers oh his pistol. Standing away barelt away from the door frame he aimed the barrels at the back of Tenshins head.

Fira was hit by her own attack, she couldn't understand how it could happen as she was thrown towards the wall from the force of the blast. She wasn't burn, because it was her own fire. Fira slammed into the wall her sprained arm first and slid down onto her knees as she cluched her wounded arm right where the pain pusled from it. She bit down on her lip as the pain surged through her arm for a moment.
Grabbing her hat which had landed on the floor she had placed it back ontop of her head before pushing herself to her feet with her cane. Useing her good hand Fira pulled the feather from her hat. Stroking it, between two fingers it ignighted. With a sudden yet strange force she threw the feather like an arrow towards Tenshin. The feather flew faster than an arrow and with greater power as it left behind a trail of flames that quickly disapeared into the air. The flames around the feathers where hot enough to melt metal in an instant, were also a bit blinding of how bright the white flames were as it continued to soar towards Tanshin.

Tenshin blinked slowly before suddenly disappearing, leaving Fira's attack heading straight for Zetsuei.
He then reappeared in a blur a few meters behind Zetsuei, staying to the right in case Zetsuei managed to dodge the feather. His left eye twitched before he shifted his scythe so that he was holding it horizontally. For a moment, his eyes shone bright red before he struck one side of the wall and ran to the other, causing the scythe to drag and cut a large line in the hallway. Moments afterwards, the hole sprouted a large, translucent wall that crackled with blue magic. Tenshin's eye twitched again before running the opposite direction -- towards the Kyana, Kisaragi, and...
...the control room.

Maki sighed staring at the images. "I don't really know but its in my memories," Maki admitted. "I asked grandfather about it after the battle, right about the same time you began disappearing to build your ship and I became ill. Apparently those were my real parents. I was raised by the caravan who found me after my father was killed by a scientific guild." Maki held Shinja tightly to her, his warmth most comforting. "My parents happened to live in the town the guild was working in and according to grandfather Sai, I became their target the day I was born," she said looking up at the dragon as it merged from the water. "I've been having this flashback all my life but it's especially stronger and more clear when I'm flying of on a boat. Look at the dragon's head ... it's not a normal dragon. It's one they created and wired to obey their every command. I have no idea who they are, but the day Greed and I stormed a stone tower to find Katrea who had gone beserk trying to find his long lost friend ... it felt familiarly frightening." Just as she said that the dragon merged from the water and flew away.

Moving to his left,zetsuei dodged the attack fira had sent at Tenshin. Watching Tenshin run down the hallway and the blue magic wall appear, Zetsuei looked at Fira.
"We have to get to the control room, follow me I know another way"

Fira stumbled out of her room holding her arm and looked up at Zetsuei with a strangely as she noticed her feather sticking out of the wall behind him. Then she glanced down the hallway that Tenshin went down before saying with confustion, "Alright, but who was that anyway?"

"His name is Tenshin, he is the same race as me. His mind is under the control of another. Last time he wanted me, this time I dont know what he wants."
He said as he ran up a flight of stairs, which after a few levles he ran out a door which led to the other side of the control room.
