Ame nodded her head vigorously, jumping onto Lancaster's back. "Yes! We'll get him!" She grabbed Cat's hand, and stared at her. "Cat you got me and Lancaster to protect you and we love you!" she held out her hands wide. "We love you this much!"

The immature side of her had taken complete control over her, and she was unaware of the danger that was happening. She didn't realize that the man Cat was referring to was extremely dangerous. She only thought that it was a game. A bad man was after Cat and they would fight him and everything would be ok.

She hopped off of Lancaster's back, the sky had turned an inky black color and there was a booming sound from far off in the distance. The fireworks had started. Though she doubted that the others would want to go, seeing as they were preoccupied.

Doesn't matter she thought to herself, I'll just sneak off!"

And so, she did. With Cat and Lancaster's back turned she quickly made her way towards the direction she thought the fireworks were coming from. Though in reality they were coming from the other way.She walked for several minutes, not seeing or hearing anything or anybody. The sky was now black and the wind blew slightly. Ame glanced around, utterly alone. She sighed, sitting down in the tall grass, which was taller than her. "All alonnnneee..."

Meanwhile, back where the others were Melody stared at Cat with her golden eyes. "Listen,Cat is it? I know you don't know me bu-"

"Ame is gone." Leila cut in, her voice somewhat urgent. "Did anyone see where she went?"

Her hand clenched on the hem of her robes. Rivera didn't look as torn as she did throught several previous spells of fear. There weren't too many things she was afraid of... most of the time, the only thing she really feared was being forced to relive the past. Aside from that, there were only bugs and temperatures above 96 degrees Farenheit. She hesitated, then took a deep breath before she could say anything. Her voice was even and flat, calm and simple, as if what she was about to say meant absolutely nothing. The irony of the tone and the content of her words apalled her... but she couldn't say it in any other way without stopping half way. "Saraneth said... she told us during the battle that to find Kleptos, I would have to tell you everything. I'm not going to go into too much detail, so I'll make this simple." Her eyes flashed into a blue-gray so dull it was barely blue. "Kleptos is a Coriscent name, belonging to one of the tribes bordering the Atlantean Isles. They sank too, but of course, there were survivors on their side as well. They most probably landed closer to present day Ireland than the Atlantean survivors, on present day England. It's theorized that Antica, a rival of Clover, somehow found and cloned Kleptos from what remained of his DNA, wherever he was buried in... Ireland, I suppose. He's after me because of what happened two thousand years ago."

She leant back against the tree, looking straight into the falling sakura petals, refusing to meet Kira's eyes. She hadn't even gotten to the important part yet, and this was no time to stop. "Every empire has the same pattern. It is born, flourishes and reaches a golden age when it is on top of the world... and when you're at the top, the only way left to go is down. The Coriscents, along with several other tribes DID try to invade Atlantis when it began to collapse from famine, nobility disputes and natural disasters. From what Kai could tell me, I understand that I participated in the final battle between the Coriscents and the Atlanteans. I led the counterattack, and was one of the 8 survivors." She paused to think things through again. This was hard, trying to get to the point without circumventing every other sentence. She said she would try to leave out details... but it was her nature to try to avoid the point. She hated her past. Forgetting it had been her goal ever since she found out... but her work and her studying only led her closer to what she did not want to see.

"I don't know why I didn't die." Rivera continued, "In my state, I was as good as fishbait. Neither side won, really. There were too many casualties of both sides. Only eight survived out of nearly 10,000 combatants... eight. Kleptos, I believe, is one of the eight, along with me. He, ironically, led the Coriscents. He..." She turned her head away from Kira. Her usual whispering voice dropped even softer, so that it was so soft only the two of them could hear it. "... he raped me... on that very battlefield where thousands of dead soldiers lay, where the six others still alive were no longer conscious... He defiled the Gyrfalcon Princess... so he could destroy Atlantis..."

Rivera strove to keep her tears from falling. She felt stuffy and... unclean. Impure. Destroyed. There. She said it... her darkest secret was out. It was supposed to make her feel better to just let the past go... so why did she feel worse now? "I didn't realize who Kleptos really was until I bothered to do some intensive research. Maybe he just kept giving me requests because he wants to continue to make me feel controlled... and afraid... I'm sure he found some way to regain his memories faster than me... if he were cloned, then he would've been remade over 30 years ago." Rivera hid her face behind her fan. She could feel that it was warm. She probably looked a bit pink now, under her porcelain-pale skin. "This is my battle for pride. I know it sounds crazy... since I don't really care about things like pride and dignity and honor. I'm just a b*****d princess. I was born without these things... But when he tainted me, he took away the purity of Atlantis. My PEOPLE's pride had been destroyed by him. I want to avenge them, everyone who died believing in me completely hopelessly. And because of my fear... there can only be one location where Kleptos can truely hide from me. And I will have to go with you, to renew the prayers for my late subjects...

He will be hiding in my tomb. No... he will be waiting."

Kira clenched one of his fist tightily as the new information rung in his ears. He raped her... On a bloody battlefield... What kind of sick son of a b***h would do that?! He thought, gritting his teeth. "He... Did... That to you...!?" He asked quietly, his voice threatening to explode in shouts and yells of anger. He growled through his clenched teeth. "I will not... Allow him anywhere near you... I won't give him the pleasure of seeing you as he dies... If you come with me you'll have to wait outside the tomb... He doesn't deserve to see you again..." He growled out.

Noticing how close to tears Rivera was, Kira gently took her hand, forcing himself to calm down. "Listen... I will kill Kleptos... And I'll come back... To be with you.... I'll come back for you alone..." He said quietly. He then put his arms around her gently. "You're the only thing that makes my life worth living... Don't forget that..." He said quietly. He had thrown off the wave of despair and replaced it with a feeling of determination. He wouldn't leave Rivera alone.

"I know... If I go crazy and make a stupid move... I'll end up dead..." Kira said quietly. Still... She was raped regardless... I won't rest until the b*****d is on his knees begging for forgiveness... Then I'll kill him... He thought coldly."We'll see the fireworks... But I want just one last answer... What is thischaotic level of your's?" He asked curiously. He had been hearing alot about this chaotic level of her's and wanted to know what it was. He just didn't understand. He then heard a firework pop near Saya Hill and decided to let Rivera answer the question later. "Nevermind... Something tells me it'll bring bad news about... Let's go see the fireworks..." He said quietly, standing up.

Ame wandered around aimlessly, unaware of what was going on and the danger. As she walked, the booming of the fireworks began to die down. She shook her head angrily, it should be getting louder, not softer.

She kicked a stone pebble upon the ground, watching it roll as she did so. Where were the others? She thought she had heard someone rustling in the grass, but she put the thought into the back of her mind.

Meanwhile back at the picnic area, Leila and Melody stood beside Lancaster and Tsuki looking rather apprehensive. Leila had begun to remove her gloves.

"Hey, what exactly are you doing?" Melody cried, gripping the smaller girl by the shoulders. "You know what will happen if you touch someone!"

"Exactly", Leila said with a deadly determination. "That man is after Cat, but Cat should be somewhat ok, shes old and mature and knows whats going on. The little one however, I'm not sure she knows of the danger. And shes missing. I hope shes ok..."

Kira sighed quietly. "So... To Saya Hill then?" He asked curiously. He watched her stand and gather her robes. She looked absolutely breathtaking in the outfit. He still wondered how he got a girl like her. He heard her say there was something special she wanted to show him and smirked good naturedly. "Something special huh? Just what is it?" He asked curiously. He had a feeling he wouldn't know until she showed him so he just took her hand and started leading her to the hill.

Jake sighed at her answer. "Well. atleast I have your Ok." He smiled, but soon had to attempt to catch her before she fell. "W-whah!" He said in surprise as he topled down, but not getting his face into food like Mel did. He sighed with a sweatdrop. "Your some person Mel-chan." He looked up and sighed again, then picking up Mel. "If it hurts, then I don't want you to strain yourself doing anythingmuch." Jake said, trying to say what's best for her. "The fire workds display is soon, how's 'bout we go see that? It'll be fun.." He said with a small smile in the end of it. He sighed to himself. The festival whent by fast, which disappointed him in a way. "Let's do as much as we can. And let's hope that you won't be getting into too dramatic things along the way."

Lancaster smiled as Ame jumped on his back, Tsuki jumped on his head to make room for the girl. "Thats right little Lily, he's a bad bad man and we are going to protect princess Cat no matter what." He said to her with his eyes sparkling brightly to her as he patted her head. The day was fadding fast and with the fadding of the sun, so would he.

With the day shifting to night, so did Lancaster, now Fang stood before the girls. Tsuki would have not even noticed such a change, they were the same man...so to speak, just looked, acted, sounded and were different. Fang growled not one but two girls had vanished into the darkness. "Damn women, they are going to get me killed...and I don't care." He held out his arms, crossed as two shadows formed around them forming into the guns the group had seen earilier, what could he say they were not his only pair but his favorites. "He looked sternly at Tsuki eyes narrowed. "Get off, I'll be moving too fast." He watched Tsuki jump down as he ran off. He saw she was starting to follow as he sprinted off. "Stay there, it'll be best just incase Ame comes back." Tsuki sat in some what of a huff, who did he think he was comanding her like some sort of dog.

He held his arms up running into the same direction Cat had vanished. He heard the loud bang in the woods and shot out towards the sound. He had perfect vision in the night and he doubted he'd hit much of anything. He ran at a blinding speed. As he did so he changed three of the bullets in his white gun shoting them up in the sky in three different directions. It was to get Ame's attention. They were not fireworks but flair cartrages to mark the location she should goto all of them point back to where she ran off from.

Skidding to a stop he drooped down in front of Cat's body growling angry. "Damn it. DAMN IT!" He shouted out into the darkness firing off another bullet into the nothingness. "If you show your face again you're dead! I'll kill you myself!" The strangeness happened again. As he held Cat in his arms, one eye was blue, the other still yellow, both Lancaster's and Fang's voices coming out the same mouth. "Kitten, c'mon Kitten I'm here. Its ne Fang."
