With a stretch and a long, tired yawn, Aeris finally starts to wake up within her lonely chambers. One hand lifts to idly rub the sleep out of her eyes before she finally throws off the sheets and moves towards the edge of her mattress. Her large silver eyes take in the room around her for a moment in silent contemplation before she finally brings herself to rise with a slight sigh. She hasnt been herself for a while now, so she was hoping a return to the harvestor would help keep her mind off of a few things, despite how dangerous the place is. Slowly, she runs her hands down her long wrinkled white sleepshirt to try and straighten it out a little and leans down to pull a couple slippers onto her feet.
With her tummy growling at her, she walks over to the door and steps out of her room, making the long trek down the hall and towards the nearest kitchen.

*A bright flash of light appears and Than falls a few feet to the ground* Nyah! >< oof! o_< nnnn..... did I make it..... *Than stood slowly and looked around* I can't see anything n.n *Than lights up some of his gold area, allowing him much more visibility* Hmm.... ._. creepy desu...... *Than was in one of the long dark corridors* Well... how big can the place be......*awkward silence* T.T nyah!

*Than slowly walked the lonely halls, guided only by what was lit by the luminous effect of his aura* Hmm..... bigger than I thought ._. *of course, Than had no idea how massive the harvestor really was. He'd already been going for an hour and had found nothing but endless halls. He was in a relatively deserted part of the harvestor* >.>; Okasan wa doko desu ka? ._. nnn..... *This was far less enjoyable than his exploratory adventure with Trilla*

*It had been an hour and a half since Than first arrived, and he hadn't come in contact with any form of life.... much less Aeris* v.v *huff* She has to be here somewhere...... If I keep-- *He blinks and sees something up ahead: a door* o.x.... maybe..... *He ran to the door and looked at it for a moment* Hmm... I can open this.... *He turned to the panel by it and started tinkering with its wiring, since the console itself seemed disabled* A little more and.... hah! *The console activates* ^^ nothing to it. *Than reassembled the panel and pressed the key to open the door. He was smiled as the door starting hissing while opening. The door had zipped open before Than even realized what was happening. In an instant it felt like a large had had grabbed him and yanked him toward the door as fast as it could. Instinctively, his arms fall out to his side and his right grabs the rim of the door. His hand clamped down on the rim while his body was pulled outside by the air rushing by him. Than had no idea what was happening but he held on as he was continuously pulled outside. He looked to his side only to see the endless black of space. Mustering all the strength he could and wincing his eyes shut, Than pulled himself up against the rushing air. It was a great strain, and wasn't long before Than's already weak left arm started to feel like it was going to break off. Calling on his abilities with dark magic, he called the shadows of the room towards him. The tendrils latch to him and pull him inside, more from the whim of the shadow symbiote than Than himself. Once pressed to the wall, Than turned and slammed the button on the door as hard as he could. The door snapped shut again. Than collapsed to the floor gasping and coughing harshly for air* Agh! >< my head.... my chest....... *His lungs were on fire from having the air sucked right out of them, his arm was on the verge of breaking, and his head was ringing from the rush of air* Nnnng >< *Than just curled up right there, unable to really do much*

nnnn >< oi.... that wasn't fun.... *Than slowly sat up, to avoid a head rush, before looking around* Hmm? *He noticed he was no longer by the door. Somehow he'd been moved while he was out* ._.; oke.....time to go. *Than gets up carefully and starts to walk off, once again it was dark*

ACHOO!~ *Than sniffled and hugged himself with his right arm* ~_~ It's cold out in space...... *Than's left arm had apparently stopped functioning within accepted limits after the vaccuum incident. For now he shivered a bit, walking down more halls and more doors which didn't seem to contain anything worth looking at* ><

AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH! *Than stumbled in mid run as a claw slashed his back. He recovered and keep running. Behind him were three canine beasts that were intent on having Than's flesh for dinner* Nyah! ._. *He was panting, because he'd been running for a good 15 minutes down whatever hall he could find. His metal arm was limp at his side and the pack was close behind him* >_<

*Than managed to gain some distance in a quick burst of speed. He whipped around a corner and found a dead end* Ah! Iie! ._. *he turned, knowing the pack was close. A small panel caught his eye and he hit the button impulsively. Correct to Than's hopes, the button closed a door, but the door was rather old and faulted, so It only closed most of the way. It stopped with a crack still in between the doors. Than backed up, panting. When one of the beasts rams the door, and the door starts to bend, Than falls back and keeps scooting til he hits the wall. The enraged eye of the beast was visible and Than was trembling with fear* Kiero!! >< *He couldn't think at all. Then, he got the idea to just get off the harvestor. He ran a hand through his pocket..... his teleporter was gone* O.x Iie! *The transporter had fallen out of his pocket while he was running, actually just outside the door when Than turned*........ *He was trapped and the doors were starting to cave in*

*Than was just shivering, waiting for those animals to come through, where he would make a desperate attempt to fight off three large beasts. As Than braced himself, one of the beasts that he couldn't see yelped. the one at the door turned a left the half caved door. There were yelps, barks, howls, and....."hic"? Than didn't know what to think, but the light was flickering a lot outside. He just waited to see what beast would try to eat him*

*A few minutes pass, finally all the noise stopping* n-nani?..... *He stood up shakily, moving to the door. He peered out the almost broken door, and saw nothing* >.>;; nnnn..... *He did at least find his transporter, so he started to approach it* Hmm... well there's not blood... so where did...... NYAH!! *Something leapt at him from his side and spun, flinging his left arm out accidentally*
sound: SQUEAK!
Than: o.o? *Than turned, seeing as he hadn't fallen from being pounced. All he saw was a little black hair ball with eyes* hnnn?
black ball: @_@ mew...... *Whatever it was, it didn't like being hit with a heavy metal arm*

critter: @_@ mrrrrr.... *the little ball of fur was finally rolling back to consciousness. It let out a squeak when it saw Than looking down at him*

A young man, probably no older then twenty, flicked a small toggle over his HUD and plotted the cordinates into his computer's systems, felt the gentle chime of acknowledgement, and prepared to enter atmosphere.
Using his Beta Syth Link, or simply known as his Beta Link, he sent a direct ionic signal to his squad. The signal would then be sent to the rest of the pilots and enter their minds through their Beta Links, and produce what would amount to words and sentances.
"Alright everyone, stand by to enter atmosphere in three, two, one..."
His sentance was severed as fire errupted around his space fighter. The atmosphere fought against the sleek designed aircraft, tried to scortch it away, but lost miserablly. The reenforced outer hull of the Z-21's shrugged the flames aside and continued to decend. Not only that but hidden under the roar of red and orange was a very subtle, dark, blue shimmer surrounding each of the ships.
Large white barrels hung under each of the wings, the shimmering of dark blue pulsating white as the shields fought against the atmosphere's heat. They'd break the fire barrier only a mile away from the target, so they'd have to drop payload the very second that they did, least they risk hitting something and drawing enemy fire on themselves.

Ka'rinth appeared in a corridor on the harvester and looked around with a single eyebrow raised in curiosity and said simply, Would you like to take over for this trip or should I lead? As he spoke there was a pause before he answered himself by saying, No it would be best if you led, that way you'll get accustomed to the layout and dangers first hand and there will be no hesitation. Ka'rinth nodded to himself as he began walking non-chalantly down the hallway with all senses primed and eyes scanning for danger.

Ka'rinth's eyes actually caught the movement of something predatory before he could hear or smell it. His vision blurred slightly before shifting to infrared and once he realized whatever it was had disappeared it blurred again in a shift to ultra-violet. He smiled as he saw it clearer now in the distance of the hall, something akin to a large roach bred with a scorpion had slipped into a hole that because of the curve of the hallway looked like nothing more than a small dip or dent in the floor. He could sense attention on him and smiled at the chance to use his scythes in battle at last. He moved quickly so that he could react quickly before he even reached the hole.
Moments before Ka'rinth got to the hole proper, a stinger dripping venom shot towards the vibrations of his running feet. Even as the stinger appeared four more roaches swarmed out of the hole, two per a side, moving along the walls with ease. One stopped on each wall and the final two dashed across the cieling to drop behind him and cut him off.
Ka'rinth however had his own plans and as the stinger shot towards him, he slipped to the right and swung a scythe that appeared from seemingly nowhere in a circular motion meant to sever the tail at one of the joints before he dove over the hole. As he jumped he saw the waiting claws and pincers of the scorpion below but with a twist of his body turned away from it and swung his scythe once more aiming to cut through the lower supporting legs of the roach on the left wall. To ensure it didn't fall on him he had jumped near the middle of the hole and revealed that the blade of his weapon was attatched to the pole by a inside chain that extended it's reach significantly. As he finished his spin, he would once more face the first roach and as gravity took hold of him the scythe became a pole arm again and was used to cut what remained of the roach in half as the dark man fell into the creatures lair.
