LarryTheArcher Your Tau force should have more Firewarriors, at least two squads. well just more troops, dont have to be fire warriors

lol, very disturbing.
You are right that they are high-point cost, but one squad of Firewarriors is generally better than any two squads of Kroot, not to mention can be upgraded with markerlights which makes them fairly powerful.

You do know that 16 kroot with rifles get 50 attacks on the charge right? And are the best Tau have as CC weapons.

Gua'vesa are nothing more than meat to protect your more valuable troops and kroot do have a place on the battle field. first of all, they dont completely suck in close combat like the rest of the army and can be a life saver..... although...... it is against the tau stratagy to engage in such combat...... oh and i have fallen in love with stealth suits.

Yes, but we're looking at this point wise.... and point wise, adding a rifle to 16 Kroot is point heavy (For Kroot) They come with Kroot Rifles at no extra points cost.
