"Hey wait... nevermind" Thorn yelled as Kayoe ran ahead. After a few minutes Thorn could hear the distant clash of metal on metal. Thorn ran toward the sound pulling out his ax hacking at the brush to clear a path. When Thorn got to the fight Kayoe had a lady on her back with his sword drawn. "Did you know?" was all Thorn could think to say.

“I had a suspicion... Don’t worry about her, she’s harmless.” “Harmless!” Zera said indignantly “I was holding my own against you wasn’t I?” Kayoe cleared his throat to remind her of her position, “I said was!” “Not true,” Kayoe corrected “there were at least three times where if my aim had been to kill you I could have done so, with little injury to myself.” “You had an opening or two yourself!” “Really?” Kayoe didn’t look like he believed her, “T’is a shame all the weapons I have on me are live, or else we could test that theory.” “Yeah, but we would break them before our match was decided!” Zera replied cheerfully “Say Kayoe, you wouldn’t mind letting me up now; you wouldn’t want to give that kid weird ideas!” “Actually, he seems to be a quite mature adult, despite his physical appearance.” As he spoke however Kayoe did indeed put his sword away. Zera got up and picked up her blade. “He’s quite the opposite of you, except that his situation isn’t by choice.” “You’re acting quite the example of maturity yourself right now.” Zera replied sarcastically, she then turned to Thorn. “Err... Sorry about that then, they call me Zera, pleased to meet you!”

Adencia had followed after the two soundlessly climbing through the trees. She watched from a tree on the outskirts of a clearing and could have kept unseen had Ekko not come floundering to her shoulder. Ekko was not too happy about traveling through dense forest for the skies were where he could take flight the best. Hopping from tree to tree didn’t suit him well.
Supposing the squawking bird would have called attention she dropped from the tree and glanced back to the others who were just a bit farther back down the trail. Ekko flew from her shoulder to the sky in the clearing, crooning happily. Adencia approached her fellow travelers and the new-comer slowly and warily.
“It’s obvious that the two of you know each other.” She mused blatantly, “Zera, is it?”

“You are correct on both counts,” Answered the blonde swordswomen “may I ask who you are?” Zera put her sword away and looked at the people Kayoe was traveling with. “So Kayoe, what kind of crazy sob-story quest did you volunteer for this time?” “Zera, it’s quite rude to ask a question and not wait for an answer.” Kayoe responded. “Well, it is also rude to avoid answering a question!” Kayoe sighed and ignored her, Zera was quite carefree and as such didn’t always abide by common courtesy. The least he could do was do his best to correct her when she didn’t.

Thorn placed his ax on his back and held out his hand to Zera "Thorn." was all he said to her then he turned to Kayoe. "I see you figured out what my curse is. I wasn't exactly trying to hide it but people don't normally figure it. Of course, they don't know I am cursed." Thorn look up at the man respecting him more and more as got to know each other. Thorn felt he could trust this man, more than any one in a long time, and he only just met him. "Yes you are correct I am acctually 27, I was cursed as a child by a stranger. As for your other queston Zera we are all cursed folk looking for a cure. The goddess that made the cure misplaced so we have to find it."

Adencia waited patiently for a turn to speak. She had been asked a question after all.
“Adencia.” She said, introducing herself, “Pleasure.”
She didn’t mean to seem short, but as the day wore on she was more likely to get stuck in a position where there could be an uncontrollable transformation, and this wasn’t good. Alone she would have been fine with it, but in the company of others she could be dangerous. This should be good reason enough to be testy and on edge.
Adencia folded her arms nervously and looked into the forest, searching for a possible place to run to.

“A cure for Kayoe’s curse? That’s wonderful!” The shear force of the tackle-hug that Zera gave Kayoe would have knocked a lesser man over. It seemed however, that it was more like Kayoe was simply accustomed to it rather then his skills as a warrior that let him absorb it. “So does that mean you’ll come home after this?” “I’m not sure, once everyone has there curses cured, I will probably still need a little longer to polish my technique.” At hearing that Zera took on an unusually serious face for her, and stepped away from Kayoe. “That’s Bullshit, you’re a brilliant fighter and you know it. I’m sure back when you left the world was the best teacher that you could have, but now you’re at a point where you’d learn just as much from only leavening the dojo for the occasional tournament. The fact is you’d just be learning polishing your skills as an excuse not to come back, just like you’re using your curse now. The difference is that the curse argument really has some merit to it, because you really could hurt someone with it. The real reason you don’t want to come back is because you still haven’t forgiven yourself.” “My curse has made me do some terrible things, some that can’t be forgiven...” “I’m not talking about the curse and you know it. It wasn’t your fault.” “How can you say that!” Kayoe was visibility upset, but not quite angry, and that technicality was all he needed to keep his curse in check, especially with Zera. “You weren’t there Zera, you did what you were supposed to do! You didn’t see it, and you don’t know exactly what happened, so don’t you try to tell me it’s not my fault when you can’t say that for sure!” Despite the technical difference Kayoe found himself slowly reaching for his sword, but he was still himself, so he still had time. “Run Zera! Get away from me, now! GO!” Zera nodded and jumped to a branch in a nearby tree. “Good luck Kayoe.” With that she jumped out of sight. Kayoe let out a yell and cut down the tree that Zera was just standing in with a single slash. He stood there for a few moments breathing heavily...

Adencia’s mind went from her troubles to Kayoe’s as he began getting angry. Instinctively she took a couple steps backwards, then took the defensive as he cut down a tree. As she usually did when taking the defensive, her form changed to that of a large black cat that was far from purring.
In her feline form she crouched low, ready to bolt and toss Thorn on her back if need be. Adencia watched Kayoe intently; he could either get better or worse from that point on. Hopefully it wouldn’t be the latter.

((Pssst! We all dissapeared again. I'm beginning to wonder if we should continue this thing because no one ever posts and I've been trying so hard to get it back up again and get it going but it all just seems to crash and burn in a failed attempt. Somebody please tell me if this is worth the trouble. If it isn't then I'm just going to call a quitts on the RP and stop it. It's all beginning to get frustrating.))
