I disagree with the Raiders' decision of signing Javon Walker. He's had three knee surgeries before he was 30, and hasn't been as explosive a many think. Javon Walker also cost the Raiders a great deal of money (more than Randy Moss), which they could have used elsewhere. Why not get a better offensive line for Jamarcus Russel? They may need a running back, but they need linebakers and a defensive line improvement as well.

The Seahawks reached an agreement in principle Friday night with former Cowboys running back Julius Jones, the second running back move made by the team this week.

Tom Coughlin, Julius Jones, and Landon Johnson were the big headlines of Friday.
I'm interested in seeing where Larry Fitzgerald will land, and that will probably be the next important headline...though I do see him staying in Arizona...

Alexander will stay with Seattle, and Jones will be the secondary back. I don't really know why they kept their other RB. Fitzgerald is still not a FA until next season, so they would have to re-do his contract. At the moment, he is looking for a 6 year deal. The Cardinals have virtually little cap room, and don't even have enough defensive starters signed at the moment to play a game. Though, a front-runner team to make a move for him if he does leave, looks to be the Eagles.

Trent Green agreed to a three-year, $8.9 million deal that included a $2.1 million signing bonus and a $900,000 roster bonus on Monday. With a $1 million base salary, Green will make $4 million in 2008.

It was out of respect, and he is now with his old team... ...But with Cadillac Williams and Earnest Graham, I question the signing, which the money could have been used for a tight end or offensive line.

Yeah I wouldv'e love him going to the Pats since we lost Stallworth he could be our 2nd reciever.

Anyways, it was a good move to re-do his contract so that the Cardinals could keep Fitzgerald. Although their offensive line is still iffy, they should focus most or all of their attention on defensive moves (especially linebacker and defensive line). They still have a bit of a cap crisis, but I think that Arizona does not even have enough defensive players at each position, to start a game.
