Kazan saw her ears retreat onto her head before she jumped up and started rapidly going back and forth, poking each ear over and over. "Kitty, Kitty, what's wrong kitty?" she giggled, smiling as she plopped, crouched, in front of her. The kids all laughed as they pat Kana on the head once, gently, each. The males just continued looking on, smirking to themselves and drinking sips yet still, talking quietly amongsth themsevles about who know what.

Kana blinked, ears twitching each time they were poked. They'd only retreated back because of the loud shouting, but they perked again slowly as it seemed to fade for a moment. At Kazan's question she shook her head, smiling broadly. "Nothing's wrong, meow!" she cried, the last word sounded exactly like a real cat, something she purposely did to see what the kid's reactions would be.

The kids stopped, staring at her for a moment before starting to meow over and over again; it sounded like a bunch of kittens that were restless at the hour of the day. Kazan laughed as she gave a loud 'mreow' and then started to run around in large circles, most of the kids running after her, as though playing cat and mouse.

[It's ok! Our power just went out for no reason at all. xD;;]
Kana started laughing at the new wave of chaos she seemed to have started up, but remained sitting where she was instead of joining in the chasing. She just grinned as her eyes followed their progress while she remained sitting still on the ground. Her tail was flicking behind her like normal and her ears perked, tilting towards Kazan and the kids.

[yikes]
Several times, Kazan made sure to pass by Kana, using her as a play sheild before starting off again. She stuck her tongue out at Kana playfully, laughing, every now and then to show she should join them and to show she was just playing by using her as a sheilding device. The kids just kept following, seemingly not losing any energy, but maintaining it all; some of the ones that had just been sitting down started to follow after her, as well.

[It seems to have fixed itself already though. ^^;; Luckily my laptop switches to battery backup rather than shutting itself down]
Kana watched them a couple more times and then jumped to her feet, blocking Kazan's way in a playful attempt to help the kids catch her. She was laughing though, as she spread her arms out wide, looking rather like she wanted a hug or something. Her tail was flicking behind her still, but her ears had flattened back in case of another wave of shouting, or if they decided to tackle her again.

[well, that's lucky xD]
Kazan squeaked as she suddenly dove around her friend, tumbling until she stopped, face in the grass. Half the kids seemed to continue following Kazan, bunching around her and some even jumping onto her back, but she turned over knocking them all off. The other half, htough, cheered as they danced around Kana, all smiling in triumph.

Kana jumped slightly as Kazan dove to the side, then watched as she was practically burried in children. "Ah, s-sorry," she stammered through her laughter, both hands clamped over her mouth in an effort to better keep it in. Though, her tail was flicking happily as she watched the kids dancing around her, and this only seemed to make her laughter grow. She always found little kids amusing, especially the way they reacted to her, and this was no different.

Kazan laughed, too, once she finally got the kids off her. Instead, they all jumbled around Kana, praising her for helping them catch Kazan. They all grinned up at her as Kazan struggled to get herself up, giving up after another kid jumped on her, laughing. "You guys are going to kill me," she said plainly, lying on the floor as though she'd been stampided by elephants.

Kana blinked down at the children and the knelt down to their level, finally pausing her laughter enough to smile broadly at them. "Hey..." she began suddenly, glancing back at Kazan for a second. "Do you want to see something cool?" [about to change. xDD] She thought this would surely distract their attention, and allow Kazan to escape the children's wrath as well. Her tail began flicking faster as she was eager to see there reactions to what she was about to do.

The kiddies looked up at her in awe, utterly silent for a moment before they all exploded, screaming 'Yes', 'kitty', and all things in between. Kazan, too, looking on at Kana, wondering what she could possibly be thinking to do. Even the males watched Kana in even more interested, laughign quietly even as they continued talking, another glass of drink in their hands; what was she possibly about ot do?

Kana just grinned and them and placed a finger over her mouth, signaling for silence, though it didn't really take any concentration for her to do it. She just wanted to draw it out to maybe make it seem a little more dramatic. She stood up straight, perfectly still. Even her tail stopped moving. And then, suddenly, a cat stood in the girl's place. It was pure black with bright blue eyes. It let out a soft meow as it sat down, its tail curling against its side.

[i'll be on tomorrow, if i can make it. if not, sunday ><;;]
Kazan, watching under the childrens feet, made a run for somewhere behind a bush, hiding from the little kids. They all went 'oh, ah' left and right, surrounding the kitten to pet her softly and smile. The males, though, stood there in awe, watching her with astonishment. Kaze, who had brought a cigerette to his mouth, lighting it with a metal lighter in his pocket, just gaped at her, causing the cigerette to fall; he didn't notice, though, as it snuffed itself out.
Koichi, though, was the most shocked of all as the glass he had in his hand slipped from his grasp, falling to the ground. His eyes were wide, his mouth shut, as the glass bounced almost silently against the ground, the tanned liquid spilling from the cups rim as it made a slight circle, the liquid spreading out slowly in its wake. C'est... c'est cette le chat, he thought, unmoving, his expression the same. Sayo, was just looking over at her, his hands in his pocket, confused at what everyone was amazed about.

Kana began purring as the kids pet her and seemed to be smiling, even in her cat form. Her eyes closed in comfort as she sat there, letting the childen play with her. Though, her ears twitched and she turned to look at the three guys, seeing Kaze first as he dropped the cigarette. She didn't mind that though, since the smoke would have made her start coughing near uncontrollably. But, in her excitement, she'd momentarily forgotten about Koichi and, from the looks of it, he seemed to recognize her. She stared at him, faking confusion, but closing her eyes as she saw the cup fall. Then she peeked them open again, turning quickly away as she saw his expression and she bowed her head slightly. She tried to act innocent, like she didn't know what he'd be so shocked about, or rather that she thought it was simply because of her transformation, but it was really hard. Still though, she continued purring contentedly as the children pet her, trying not to look as guilty as she felt.

Kaze regained himself first from the momentary shock, patting his friend on the back to wake him up, too. Koichi just shook his head, covering his face with his hand slightly before starting to run it through his hair, stopping it just as it got itself halfway into his hair. C'est un joke... elle n'veut pas etre ici... he thought to himself, looking slightly drunk for a moment.
Sayo just looked over at Kana, watching the children pet her before laughing softly. "Nice trick, Kana-chan!" he called out to her, picking up the dropped glass and placing it on the tray behind the pillar. Kaze just store at her for a few moments before turning to Koichi again and starting to talk to him softly, almost inaudable[?]. Koichi dropped his arm, letting it fall to his side before closing his eyes gently and leaning against the wall behind them; he had to be dreaming or something.
