The player with the lowest amount of lands searches his or her library for X lands, where X is the difference between his/her lands and their opponents. If this is impossible, the player controlling the highest number of lands sacrifices lands until they are equal.
The players then repeat this for Creatures, Artifacts, Enchantments, and life
